We think all deer are like Bambi, but they are not. We live in the suburbs with a lot of deer. Two bucks went into rut season, fought each other, and crashed through someone's large living room window.

When we do that sound they know a treat or attention are about to come their way. I thought that but then I saw the fawn was no older than 10 days old, not knowing to be afraid. The fawn also behaved in a way that's a-typical of a wild animal. No real behavior that indicated the fawn was spooked. The fawn also backed away rather than turning and possibly risking baby getting kicked. The moment the fawn stepped into the brush near the tree Mom immediately started to encourage baby with her voice to stay near her. By then baby lost interest and was eating grass. Lol I don't know where all you scardy cats live but in WISCONSIN we don't run away from a baby deer. We wait till they are older then shoot them and eat them!! Lol there are some ppl who are very intuitive about assessing risk with the balance of loving and being part of nature. Its very easy, to assess risk when you're well informed and taught about risk vs joy of nature!! Give it a rest!!

How many times I have seen deer act just like while a person tries to go up and pet it and right as the person is about to touch it bam one hoof to the chest one to the face and the deer uses the person as a spring board to run away.
@@charisesumner5034 right I have let my daughter approach a deer but told her to not try to pet it you can go get a closer look but don't get too close and don't touch make sure to maintain at least two leg lengths of distance or you can get hurt.
Dont forget that the ground is probably covered in Aids as the mother fawn sprays aids on the ground to deter predators as it is well known that predators dont like aids and generally would rather not have it

My grt-neice had an experience with a female fawn when she was a baby (abt 12-14 mo old) in a stroller. The fawn smelled her & let my grt-neice touch her. The fawn had been rescued & lived in the house with the farmers. It eventually lived in the wild but never strayed far.
yes the baby was in danger because of the close encounter with a wild animal, but jesus christ that baby is wearing one of those little baby suits. My parents used to let me and my sister play naked in the dirt and sand in our garden which actually strengthens your child immune system. I actually have never really been sick my whole life. Maybe a little cold for 3-4 days with a little cough but that happened only once a year maybe. Parents these days are so over caring and think their babies are made out of glass and get sick if they don’t wear 5 layers of clothes and god forbid they play and crawl around on the ground. Those are the kids that are then constantly sick when getting older.
