Son Deku Freecss That would he cool for the podcast
I already saw your Bloopers reaction, please also react to the OVAs! I hate how like no channel reacts to it (Blind Wave did though).
your the best
As I saw in another comment somewhere, that it's hilarious to imagine Mustang just hearing everyone yelling thinking "What are we yelling at? Are we cheering? What's Fullmetal doing? Are we winning? Should I cheer too? Yeah, lets go!" and then Mustang is off in the side, yelling in the wrong direction.
Al’s sacrifice gets me every time. He’s so good, I love him so much.
And Greed’s realization is a long time coming. Since the beginning he’s shown a desire to be surrounded by people. The first version had a crew so loyal they’d die for him (and the reminder of those deaths made Greed attack Bradley). He was initially impressed with Ling after Ling expressed a desire to protect his people. And while he has Ed and the Chimeras “work for him” all that really amounts to is traveling together. It’s really well done how this consistent characterization culminates here.
True. Having friends who would go one for all, all for one are a precious treasure which is no doubt worth, em greeding for.
A lot of people forget too that what Greed truly wants is ultimately what Father wanted as well, before he extracted them from his body. It’s so cool how the show can give depth to a character so indirectly like that. You realize that the Dwarf in the Flask really just wanted approval and admiration and friends. I had the same moment of realization during Envy’s death. You realize that the Dwarf in the Flask was actually just jealous of humans.
ChankleTown this is a great point.
Actually remember during hohenheims training where he passed his masters test, he said something along the line of “it’s all thanks to your teachings master” and then the dwarf looks jealous.
The Dwarf claimed family and community were silly and he couldn’t understand it, later created a family and community of his own. Hohenheim said he used to be vibrant and full of life, but now after separating his desires he is so... not. Father didn’t start off bad, he went done a bad path and he paid for it in the end.
Yeah, that's exactly what makes me feel angry when people say that Father is not a good developed enemy, he is all the homunculus, they are him, the dwarf in the flask.
I watched envy's death, and then hohenheim confronted father and said that father was jealous of humans, and i was like "no thats envy's thing" not realizing the homunculi's things are his things
Remember envy had the most pathethic form among homunculli. Envy towards human had been his greatest feeling and thus he may seeing it as his most pathethic feeling. While pride had his original form which littery means that he always be proud of his existence and form.
12:42 *Mustang looking the other way* "FULLMETAL!!"
*Looks at Mustang*
Me: God Damnit! Someone turn him around!
😂😂😂
This was a great edit, btw. They hit all the key points of the episode in 10 minutes with a lot of tiny cuts to shorten pauses and fluff. Super efficient, job well done!
Dake Weng thanks ! I love the show myself and I spent a lot of extra time on the last few episodes to insure I covered all of the most important parts. It’s always difficult but I’m glad you enjoyed it 😀
*"Get up, novice! I'm about to show you how outclassed you really are!"*
I love that call back to the first arc.
Mustang: FULLMETAL!!!
Hawkeye: Sir, you're looking the wrong way.
"I wanted a chance to have friends like these" - Greed
"Anything you might happen to desire, I can assure you that I desired it first" - Father (to Greed)
Envy's jealousy of humans, very well might have been Father's jealousy, if same logic is applied.
"GET UP, YOU NOVICE! I'M ABOUT TO SHOW YOU HOW OUTCLASSED YOU REALLY ARE!"
Those were the words Ed kept repeating to the first villain of the series.
Man, what can I say? Al's sacrifice is one of the most heartbreaking and amazing moments in this show. We spend so much time with these brothers and seeing one of them actually give up everything for the other is devastating.
And Everyone v. Father is absolutely one of the most hype moments in anime. The entire cast cheering Ed on as he pummels Father into the ground makes me grin ear to ear every single time!
"Yall got any more of them double drops?"
Normies: Ha, behold mortal... "Quadruple-Drop Jutsu!!!!"
😂😂😂😂
Omg looooooooool
This episode never fails to make me tear up, even on the 9th rewatch
Same. Al's sacrifice and seeing him and Hohenhiem shielding the others kills me.
Next one is the one that gets me everytime.
9th? Haha, I lost count years ago. I don’t know if that’s sad or awesome......I’m gonna go with awesome.
The 4 last episodes in one day! i feel like crying ngl
How much genius of an writer you have to be to create this level of a Story it's beyond me
Two episodes left.
For both episodes, please watch the full ending credits. They are a nice little touch from the creators.
Dang, Greed's realization at the end made me emotional af first time I watched this. poor guy just wants some loving :(
As Chris said, he just got his arm 'cause that what he lost try'in to bring Al back, at that time he had already lost his leg when tryin' to bringg their mother.
Al's sacrifice is a real tearjerker. Almost tops what happens next episode T_T
Two episodes left.
You know what this calls for right.
*wink wink*
Chris gets to wear the coat?
I know right like I want to cry now thanks not wait til next week or the week after lol
Everyone cheering Ed on still gives me chills!
Part 2 of the FMAB Binge Buster
Hohenheim makes a mini save, though Father pulls the full torment mode before blowing up half a building into a Greek Theater
Like father like son, Al and Hohenheim shield their allies from the damage in some pretty vivid imagery
And just when you think it's over MISCELLANEOUS BRIGGS SOLDIER #5 with the save
Chills every time Briggs circle Father, Everybody matters
Throwing everything at this big boss, all in time for Team Mustang to SQUAD GOALS the hell out of this show
It always amuses me that Darius just throws a rock at Father, like fucking Donkey Kong over here throwing rocks XD
Damn Greedling with his bait and switches...
Really telling though on Ed's development, when he fought Scar he gave up the moment he lost his arm, this time he refuses to give up on it
and then to twist your heart even more, Al gives up his own soul to get Ed's arm back, saving Ed from Father and just causing Ed to wail on him, chills moment again to have everyone cheering him on as he fights too
And it's also a callback to ep 3/chapter 1, Ed called Father Cornello a novice, since he was using a stone to play god, now he calls Father a novice as he plays god with his own stone, callbacks.
Ed does not have his leg back, that was given in exchange for the mother transmutation, so it can't be returned that way
Envy was the one who called Ed 'Pipsqueak' only calling him by name when it was dying
Only one Writer, Arakawa is a genius
God I love that animation from Ed going ham against Father.
Literally sitting here....at my desk....at work....trying not to cry. Dammit! Every single time.
Do you guys not understand? Greed saying he wanted friends is actually father confessing he wanted to be human. Because everything greed wants Father wanted first. But he made a mistake by getting rid of his 7 sins
8:17 "Why announce your attack?" "F***ing Sokka!"
Fun fact: In the German dubs of FMA:B and Avatar, Ed and Sokka are voiced by the same guy :D
10:50 Al claps up at the sun. These 2 "atheist" boys were praying to god every time they use alchemy, making sacrifices to get back something equal of value.
Nesne good catch!
Never caught that!
I love the idea that Mustang has no idea what's going on and he just hears Ed freak out, then a bunch of people cheering Edward on.
Father/Dwarf initially wanted Hohenheim's attention all to himself. Despite his ambitious desire for immortality & power, he cared for Hohenheim & wanted to share that power with him. I don't think he expected Hohenheim's rejection though, so he bitterly resented the idea of the human family, despite secretly longing for it himself.
Each of his "children" represent his internal conflict:
1.Lust showed maternal behaviour with Gluttony, and looked at Jean Havoc with fondness despite the deception (plus Jean Havoc's blonde hair...like Hohenheim's hair)
2.Envy killed a lot of people, but seemed particularly gleeful in the death of the Ishvalan girl, and in impersonating Gracia Hughes. They were jealous of the family unit.
3.Greed wanted everything in the world, but was secretly happiest when surrounded by his friends. He was the only Homunculus to accept his true desires in the end.
4.Gluttony's simple love & trust in his "siblings" is exactly like a vulnerable child.
5.Sloth did not do independent thinking, but was content to simply obey his "parent"'s wishes.
6. Wrath & Pride were the closest to accepting true familial happiness. Both were part of family unit, and ended up genuinely loving Mrs Bradley despite being a human.
I don't any piece of animation will ever be as satisfying as Edward cleaving off a piece of Father's head with a spear
Every anime ever: I am going to attack now!
Woh.. No?! 4 episode today! Yeah..
Triple drop baby. xD
( I would also be fine with a double drop next week. ;)
Holy crap this must be the 50th time I've seen this and it still gets me everytime best anime ever
I've seen this like 45287 times and yet I was still sitting on the edge of my seat watching this reaction
This fight is sick.
13:01 that punch was so damn nice! 🙌🏾🙌🏾😩😩
the sound track to Fullmetal is enough to hit me in the feels everytime.
Speaking about military officer that found out this plan, are you forget what happened with Hughes. After it was reveal and seeing father plan in action, it really feel that what a important moment for Hughes discover truly is.
That sacrifice and the theme song really suit eachother
ALphons : makes his sacrifce and shows up in front of his body.
Dude on the left reacting: " ....I'm goin to need your arm dawg." 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂💀☠💀 that shit had me so dead
This show always kept me guessing, I never expected Fathers true plan, or Ed to sacrifice his Alchemy for Al.
The panda is actually inmortal 😂 uuugh i feel like i'm gonna cry in the next ep
Re-watching this quadruple drop and noticing that Navi's the only one not really flinching from the blood/gore around Ed. Either she have the traits to be a doctor or you don't ever want to piss her off, lol.
The last 4 episodes today. Woow! I love you guys! ❤️
Go Ed!! My favorite part. always gives me chills
Okay, this quad upload is freaking dope.
Oh shit all of these episodes comming out at once!!!! That's amazing!
Still wish the show had addressed the metal that's now in Ed's shoulder.
You have to watch The bloopers
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was animated by Studio Bones, the beautiful people behind animating My Hero Academia. if i could, i'd recommend reacting to one of these series sometime that they've animated, which are pretty good.
Blood Blockade Battlefront
Snow White With The Red Hair
Mob Psycho 100
Noragami
Soul Eater
I don't know how many times i had watch this serie, and right now with 24 years old if i rewatch it i have to do it alone, it gets into my feels every time, and sometimes for some scenes that i'm not completely sure about why it gets me. I truly like all the things that this serie speaks about: the family, the lost of the ones we love, the search for the truth, how we're deceived by our talents and knowledge to think that we're able to do everything but the truth is that we're limited by our humanity, that the humans keep making the same mistakes and are easy to manipulate but at the same time we keep having hope...and i can keep going, FMAB makes me feel really existencial.
EMPTY THE CLIP! EMPTY THE CLIP!!!
You guys should definitely watch souleater
Greed's VA is a national treasure
7:56 this really be a bruh moment
I really hope you react to the bloopers 😊😊😊
"FUCK HIM UP"
12:00 If you guys noticed it or not. But that animation of Ed fighting was from the Second OP way back then. The only time it was used in this show outside of the opening sequence.
12:00 Remains one of my favorite moments of animation
*queue You Say Run*
Now for a lesson Villain, you may have heard these words before but I'll teach you what they really mean:
*WITNESS THE ALCHEMIC ARTS PASSED DOWN THE ARMSTRONG LINE FOR GENERATIONS!*
*flex*
“Fuck him up!”...oh wait wrong video lol hopefully they react to the bloopers
"What a choice in music" Yeah I tought the same, so I just player Bratja over it.
Hawkeye and Mustang are the best
Nice one Normies!
THESE UPLOADS CRAZYYY
YEESSSS QUADRUPLE UPLOAD
I know I'm 4 years late
but do have any idea how insanely pissed off you need to be to not only rip a piece of Rebar from Concrete but through your own Bicep?
FULLMETAL!!!
10:17 HOLY SHIT!!! Suraj made a guess that actually MADE SENSE
wait... are they post 3 videos in one day? :o
When the boss has 1 hp but he's using mp to keep himself alive
12:39 FUCK HIM UP
WAIT, _WHAT!?_ ALL 4!? :D
Well, OK then, who _needs_ sleep anyway! :D
12:39 *FUCK HIM UP!*
the irony is that, what father was not able to realize, Greed was able to...the the things he really wanted
If i didn't know better, I'd think this animation was corrected by tadoyoshi yamumuro. Many of the facial features look identical to his interpretation of dbz designs.
W O W a quadruple drop with a shout out, #blessed
but fuck i'm not ready for this to be over
but also i'm very ready to be able to talk to y'all about it
Yet 10 minutes is too short:(
marketa doesn't scream she shrieks it's the worst
everyone cheering for Ed. reminds me of the final fight from the first scene of Hamatora. if anyone's seen the first season then you know. #wedonttalkaboutthesecondseason
12:39 -- "FUCK HIM UP!"
normies on fire
What’s that book you guys have on the table with the full metal alchemist symbols
Best episode of Brotherhood right here
can't wait for the end credit!
Weird how mustang gets his eyes back and gets to keep his alchemy
Maybe because he didn’t willingly perform the ritual and didn’t really expect any results.
Fucking Sokka lol
Written by a cow farmer
12:39 "F**k him up!!!"
Oh, Marketa....
whats tha beath on the end ??????????
Ed, I don't feel so good.
FMAB!
4:32
Level 50 raid boss...
Amazing anime
Father still has God, which is why he will lose. The father must make a choice. Because there are not enough philosophers stone, in order to keep God, he can't make a powerful attack.
8:16
Finally!!!!!
