You guys will probably never see this but here I go: This song is the only song I remember playing the day I had my oldest son. It's always been Our Song. Last June my son was injured in a freak accident which left him in a coma for a month. I SANG this song to him every day. Keep in mind I cannot sing. But I just knew he would hear me and come back to me. Welp. He emerged from his coma after a month. When I told him that I sang this to him every day he said I know Momma. I HEARD you. ❤️❤️ So if you ever wonder if your music makes a difference, it DOES. Thank you!!!!

To be fair, great country bands are pretty few and fair between, like besides Brooks & Dunn, Turnpike Troubadours, Midland, Flatland Cavalry and Mike and the Moonpies (who I would call the best country band at the moment), there isn't really a heap going around that I can think of.

My son died ten years ago. This was his favorite song and on some days I will hear this song when I thinking of him. I know I will see him again. Thank God for your song that bring me happiness.
I lost my sister to cancer and this was her favorite song. Her husband had let her down and this song was telling her story. I love it too but never can stop the tears that always follow

Brooks and Dunn were THE country duo that helped defined my childhood. No one has ever come close to matching the talent these guys had. Ronnie in particular. His voice is one of the most unique voices that has ever graced our ears. It’s good to see them performing together. You can tell it’s not quite the same but it’s still worthy.

Ronnie's approaching 70 now but in his prime he's one of the greatest country singers of all time.... Right up there with Haggard.. I came to Nashville in '89 about the time he showed up at the Bull Pen lounge. Just a phenomenal voice.
