The ninth annual Austin City Limits Hall of Fame honors country music superstar Trisha Yearwood. Don Henley handles induction honors and performs along with musical salutes from Jo Dee Messina, Ronnie Dunn, Brothers Osborne and Brandy Clark.

Beautiful duet 2 of country music best
Ronnie Dunn has the perfect voice for this song. Country/Gospel music is a genre in itself. Trisha Yearwood fits that bill perfectly. When Trisha & Ronnie sang together, it could make one believe that they had shared the stage singing beautiful duets such as Carry Me Home. I truly enjoyed it!

Wow. First time I have ever heard this song. True story - when I was 12 yo I froze to death in minus 22 F. Jesus came and carried me the mile to my home. He put me at my house's front door. I walked inside with no frostbite. I told no one for decades. At the time, I had no idea WHO Jesus was. Years later, He revealed to me it was HIM. Beautiful song beautifully sung.

She is amazing! She hasn't gotten the accolades she should have because the "industry" basically blackmailed her because of her being named as the reason Garth got his divorce because of their affair and subsequent marriage. The "industry" didn't like that. Garth suffered from that also. If you go back and think about it, he also withdrew from music at that time too. I think that was his response for all of the BS that was thrown at her. But look, they have survived all of that. They are a wonderful couple!

This gives me goodbumps. I was driving from Miami to Nashville yesterday, and I was streaming my Apple Music favorites playlist and this song came on. I don't think I had heard it before, but I recognized Trisha's voice. When I got home I looked off a video with her singing it, and I found an even better rendition with her duet with Ronnie Dunn. It doesn't get any better than this!

My beloved dog, Leo, was dying this past Sunday. I sang the refrain to him several times. I’d sing it to him occasionally and he seemed to recognize it. He died the next day but I hope with this song in his heart. My husband, my son and I all carried him home♥️
