Oldham once had over 365 pubs. Places of socialising, darts, crib, dominoes and many football teams. Many closed down or turned into takeaways. A very sad place.
No multicultural nation has ever survived. The Ancient Romans gave it a good try but the barbarians crossed their borders and destroyed Rome and all it stood for. Sound familiar?
This was no experiment this was done to spite the true British citizens of this once beautiful country and to watch the complete destruction of all that was once the envy of the world.
It has just never worked out in history. Some people who are well educated and fit into our societies are perfectly fine being here as they contribute but they are few and far between, the only problem is that the bar is so low that anybody can come in even if we have no idea who they are. Now days if you are in a bad neighborhood then you already know why and the well educated who live here know why too and agree with us but this massive flow of people who don't intergrate makes them all get a bad reputation.
Same as scores of towns up and down the country. Decline gathering pace, a few more years they'll be no go areas during the hours of daylight as well as darkness.
Oldham is not what it was. Tommy fields was once one of the best open markets in the Country. On a Saturday afternoon back in the 70's it was bustling with people. Oldham has been on the decline for decades. The influx of large numbers of Pakistani Asians, didn't cause it, but it certainly hasn't helped revive it. Didn't save the cotton industry nor the economy that went with it and the town has been starved of investment and urban renewal which went instead to nearby Manchester.
Why has my comment been removed? I'll try again using a different word. It looks 'expired'. Has everybody left? Y.T. too sensitive to certain words used for the wrong meaning?
Don't buy meat from any supermarket its ALL Halal, buy only from an English butcher who will tell you exactly where his meat is sourced and assure any of your animal welfare concerns
It's not failing it has never been a success to begin with.

We don't need a 30 minute video to answer this question. Yes.

Good job getting footage inside the Market Hall as it will all be demolished next year.
It barely happened because new people formed their own groups and excluded themselves from the British way of life!
