"If you're not happy with what you have, you'll never be happy with what you get." - Humble The Poet. Huh. Yes. Gratitude is Golden:)

Humble is the kind of person that if you meet him you feel like you've finally understood everything in life. He's one of the deepest people you'll ever know.
When I move to Toronto, he'll be the first person I want to meet :D

Well Humble The Poet I think that's what makes you a great person. Your personality. Your quirkiness. Your sense of humour. Your understanding of practically any topic.

You are strong, but only once you've conquered your weakness. You are beautiful, after you've accepted your flaws. You are fearless, once you've dealt with darkness. You are wise, because you've learnt from your mistakes. You are a lover, because you've experienced hatred. You can laugh, because you've lived through sadness. All the positivity you have in your life today is because you went through negativity yesterday. Never question the obstacles of life.

The phrase "I'm not good enough" is a thought I should have eliminated from my mind a long time ago. Now I'm suffering from the regret of not figuring it out sooner. But thankfully, the phrase "I missed my chance" is something I can get rid of now. You've reminded me that opportunities for good things to happen don't only occur once in a lifetime. Thank you.

7 Things We Need to Stop Thinking RIGHT NOW: My Thoughts
    1. Life is Boring - I don't understand how people can say that. There is life all around you. The are places to go, people to meet, and an infinite amount of things to learn. If your life is boring you need to make it interesting. Being busy IS a blessing. I remember when I was little, when I'd do my homework, I'd get it all done in ten minutes. I'd used to wish I had more work to do, and would work all through the night. Then I'd look and review over what I'd done and I'd get a feeling of accomplishment. Now I take all honors classes. I dislike all of those classes very much and I get a shit-ton (excuse my language) of work to do, so I'm working all through the night. I realize the reason I wanted all that work to do when I was little was because I had nothing to do and my number of interests were minimal. -And that's the exact same reason why I don't appreciate the amount of work I get now. I have so many interests; Cooking, Writing, Singing, Music, Art/Drawing, the list goes on and on. I'm constantly always working on something. I also have yet to meet one person who has as many interests as me, and also someone who takes those interests seriously and plan to make something out of them. I wish I didn't have as much work, but it keeps me on my toes. And I do always get that feeling of accomplishment when I finish a large project. So in a way I did get what I wished for.
    2. I'm Not Good Enough - The first question is to ask why you aren't good enough. Then what you could do to make yourself good enough. People will say that your chances are one in a million or that those people in the spotlight are special. What makes you any less special than you? They took the chance. They refused to accept that they weren't good enough or they were never going to be good enough. What matters is that work at it. I accept that I'm not good at a lot of things that I'm interested in, but will will I ever be good at them? Absolutely.
    3. I Missed My Chance - This is most commonly heard among adults. Now I'm no adult, but I believe that that is complete, and utter bullshit. There could be millions of reasons why you missed your chance. -And did you ever think that at that time you might have just not been ready? In the future, you will go through many more experiences that are inconceivable to even think of now. -But now you have a new plate to bring to the table, something new. -And if all else fails, you give yourself a chance. How do you do that? You make it, you work for it, and you work hard.
    4. I Don't Have Anything to Smile About - I find myself saying this a lot. In fact, reading through an old journal entry, this is what I said, "Confession #6: I'm truly ever happy for split seconds at a time till the next strike of reality hits me." Also the one(s) after that, "Confession #7: I find myself often wishing that I'd just die - but I'm a coward. I don't want a painful death. Confession #8: I'm only ever selfish because if not I'll never get anything. Confession #9: I wish I had someone; that I had someone that I was in a relationship with." With me suffering through depression and anxiety, I find it hard to smile sometimes, and I feel that smiling all the time is tiring, and that I shouldn't waste all the positive energy stored inside me; That I should save for a time that I really need it. Also, I always seem to be everybody's second choice. While that may or may not be true. That's how I felt at the time I wrote that, and there are still lingering feeling of how I felt at that time now. Then again, I wrote that in May earlier this year. Then I also I wanted to die at one time, not kill myself, but the end result would be the same. There are again times where I feel that way. Then my last confession, I don't feel lonely that much anymore, but there is always that craving for that person who trust unconditionally, who you know will always be there. I have a best friend, but that best friend does have her own life, I can't just monotonically cling to her. I have a lot of trust issues and paranoia. People say I'm optimistic, and an idealist. That nothing will ever completely fit into this life I have drawn out. -But if I keep looking forward to that future, and even more importantly, working towards it. I can keep myself relatively happy and I can occasionally find the innate ability to smile like a fool for a few seconds.
    5. I Wish Life Was Easy - Newsflash; Life is never easy. All those people you see on TV, those celebrities, they all worked for that life they have now. Say what you want about them, but you cannot deny them that. Even the Kardashians. They had to sacrifice their privacy to be filmed 24/7 for the life they live now. -And they have to make those lives look interesting or they're booted off the show. They make drama happen if they have to. You will never be able to escape life by having everything handed to you on a silver platter. If you do; Can that even be considered living, where your biggest worry is what you're going to eat for dinner or what you're going to wear tomorrow? It's those hard experiences that we go through that makes us appreciate those simple easy times even more. -And if you're like me, you'll rise up to the challenges that life presumes for you.
    6. I Don't Have Enough Time - Why don't you have enough time? or better yet - Are you wasting your time. How much do you sleep? What do you do on an average, standard, day? I have 19-hour days. I don't sleep very much, on average I sleep 5 hours a night, sometimes 3, sometimes 4. Yet. I still don't feel like I have enough time to accomplish what I want to accomplish. It doesn't matter because if you really want to do it, or it's that important, it gets done eventually right? It's your fault you don't have enough time. I can admit it. Why can't you?
    7. People Don't Understand Me - People will never truly understand you. -Because they are not you, and because they don't have your head, your mind, your feelings, your emotions, nor your experiences. A person can know everything about you, be with you 24/7, and know all those things above. -But will they truly understand you? No. -Because that person is you. Ask yourself; Do you even truly understand yourself? All we can be towards other people is to be open-minded, curious, and caring. We can only try to understand, as how can that understand you, when you can barely understand what you're thinking now, and why.
Well that was one of the longer comments I have written on UA-cam. -But regardless, thank-you Humble for having me think a little, and gain even just a little more retrospect into the life I'm living now. This is a little late, but I am busy, like I said/ wrote above. I'm not sure if you'll see this or not, but I have another one of your videos in my inbox and I can't wait for the next video you make after that. Not sure if I'll comment on that one. I try to save my comments for when I something really meaningful to say, So, keep doing what your doing, and you are (one of) my sprite animal (my mental guiding, bearded one). =) Keep Smiling.
(Also, +50 for me. I was singing along with you.)

I learned if you take the word hate out your vocabulary you become generally less angry. If you can't express the anger you have in a negative way then it goes away.

Plus there's actually more negative words to describe things than there are positive so when you try to stop expressing your anger constantly you learn to express your happiness more and it becomes more natural

"I just cant do it" I hear this all the time at school and work. Everyone thinks I am just being picky and annoying when I say that's not true. Anything is possible no matter how impossible it may seem at the time. Ex: being happy or achieving your dreams. This was a great video. I can see why you are friends with Lilly, you are both amazing.

my friend humble. i struggle with judgment. imy first impression of any senario is the catalyst for a dynamic chain of events wich follow. I hope if i am able to substitute this action with another metaphysical projection options will consequently arise which would have otherwise never be able to be noticed, let alone explored or enjoyed. In short prior judgment leeds to lack of humility, something i could aways use more of .... its a blessing.

I know I might sound creepy but sometimes I imagine you as my dad and I'll make up a conversation on what you'd say to me on the hard times on my life and it really helps me make a desision, I bet it's because of the beard

I'm actually going through a very patch... I guess it's my sober time finding myself. because there is no outside source that has put me in my position but my thoughts. here a few tips that has me keep fighting...well be at peace with my thoughts. 1. let it out, cry if needed. but just allow those thought be out for some time 10 minutes tops. then force stop thinking about those thoughts break them down and analyze. a few questions that help -am I reacting in proportion to what I "think" it's happening ? do I have any righteous evidence that support these thoughts ? 2. or 1.5 it's easy to say "just stop thinking" but hard to do...well, it's simple but we try to hard to do so. your mind it's a living oceans with different tides and we we try to stop the waves by ironing them... just let it cease and let the storm pass. relax, count to 10 is wise. 3. I've realized a lot of these thoughts are dissapointment based... and dissapointment comes from expectation. expectations are a heavy empty baggage, so try not to assume of what should happen and appreciate the momment. 4. appreciation is key to happiness. we are taught that by being happy we will appreciate... but it's the other way around. happiness is a product of appreciation. 4.5 appreciation is a hard concept just like ironing waves. easier said than done. but again, it's simple. start by just acknowledging what you have and point out the benefits of whatever you have. like Humble mention. "On my daily life I have, water, food, wi-fi, 9gag and UA-cam. Thank you" after you done that enough the feeling of appreciation will grow. 5. this one is a bit tricky, but again it's simple and just like working out it needs discipline, constant exercise because results won't come over night. and it's hard wiring your brain... now due to the fact it's a long explanation just look for TED Talk hard wiring happiness, or hard wiring your brain. I appreciate, and thank you for reading this comment, it does make me happy and smile that you took your time but mostly it makes me glad you found this tips useful and helpful to understand just a bit more.
