Thanks for watching, I hope this shed some light on why it's important to work your ass off in everything that you do =) For more, get my book #UnLearn at www.unlearn101.com =)
+Humble The Poet how'd you know I'm trying to work my ASS off? =) =) Great video, but you went over your 2 minutes! =) sorry - joking - I don't mind, 2 minutes is never enough Humble the Poet! =)
Really needed to hear this I always try to please everyone and still feel like I am entitled. I'll admit that I was spoiled growing up. I'm a grown ass woman and it's time to take action and talk less. THANKS for this reminder.
Wow this video was very thought provoking. I'm a 16 year old competitive dancer. I dance 6 days a week from the moment I get home from school until 10:30 at night. Dance is my absolute passion, I feel lucky to have found what truly makes me happy at such a young age and hope to make a career out of it. Dancing that much plus going to high school all day is exhausting and I occasionally wonder if my efforts are really worth it, this validated me that they are. I want to be a successful professional dancer, and to me that doesn't mean becoming famous or rich, it means being able to fulfill the need I have in my body to dance and create. That's success to me. And I'm willing to work for it, 27 hours a day 9 days a week.
I completely agree! It's great to dream of success and great to dream of being what you want to be but the only way you are going to achieve those dreams is if you work for it!
I'm gonna act on your words now and work out so I can lose enough weight to be healthy in my eyes and not be overweight like I have been most of my childhood. I nearly gave up today on a workout calendar but watching this again helped to motivate and change my mindset
Very true words of wisdom as always! This is why I'm glad there is always someone providing motivational words. Even if I already heard it before, I might hear it again right when I need it most. This was one of those times.
Good one Humble. My parents went through the thirties depression and WWII. Safety and Security was gravy to them: all they got promised was dying later rather than sooner. Maybe.
I like your way of presenting life facts in a very simple yet effective way.. Hope it will be eye opener to whom in a state of glare.. God pleases you.. Keep up the good work.
I cant thank you enough for this video. Much appreciated. Also, idk if you'll see this comment but I'd just like to say that I absolutely adore you and err Salute.
"sum pple wil gt it genetically" i hope it ws my case .!! wrkin my ass off frm obese to overweight to healthy!!!! n not skinny :* thnks fr bein so positive

hi I just want to say thank you so much for giving me hope my life sucks at times but it's life but you give me hope and thank you so much I love your vids so much I really hope one day I can meet with you hope you come to new York city thank you so much
hey Humble, have you ever read Outliers by Malcom Gladwell? It's a very interesting read. There's one chapter in there that says that when you grow up feeling "entitled," that you feel entitled enough to go and talk to those with higher authority and education (doctors, CEOs etc.) and that this leads "entitled" people to actually being successful through the networks they build...or atleast that's what I think I remember lol...Anyway great video! Now let me get my ass back to work.
Everyone is special but it doesn't mean that you deserve things. The proof is in the pudding. This is just a shitty way of saying you have to earn the things you want in life. If you're trying to motivate people, it's a very fine line. You go too hard and you come off as a d bag, you come off too soft and you sound like Walt Disney speaking about a fairy tale. Understanding people and how they react to things is no easy task. Many great leaders dreamed of being able to understand their people enough so they could say just the right words to make them truly inspired and motivated to carry out tasks that took hard work and determination. To truly understand others, you must become no one and everyone. People don't acknowledge someone because of their greatness but they are truly great because the people acknowledge them, this is the definition of a true leader, a man of the people.
i honestly... dont know if you like read my mind or whatever but yea I'm trying to get fit... im not super over weight or anything but all my friends got six pack whether its naturally or just thin... and im working my ass off and its really pissing me off and i feel like giving up bad but thanks humble
I get what you're saying, and I respect your opinion, but I don't agree with all of it. I believe that yes, I need to work for stuff, I need to do things that help others, and by the time I die, I need to have done something to make the world better than I found it. I totally believe that. But I do also believe that there is a divine spark within everyone. And that they are born with that spark. That means there is nothing that they can do to lose it. They are incredible people, simply because they are here on this Earth. And, in my opinion, were created by God. They are a masterpiece. And that is something amazing, because nobody can take that away from them. It belongs to them completely. They are worth it all, simply for being who they are. But I do get the message that you're trying to share. And, like I said, I totally respect your viewpoint and your opinion. Thanks for sharing it, we need more people who aren't afraid to do that!
Thanks for watching, I hope this shed some light on why it's important to work your ass off in everything that you do =)

" if you have over the top dreams then you need to match that with over the top work ethic and drive" that is the truest thing I've heard in a while.
Really needed to hear this I always try to please everyone and still feel like I am entitled. I'll admit that I was spoiled growing up. I'm a grown ass woman and it's time to take action and talk less. THANKS for this reminder.
I swear, every time after I watch one of your videos, I feel like I can do anything
"At the end of the day, we're all either making progress or we're making excuses". I need to get out of this habit of making excuses every single day.
