Back in the 1960's we were doing research into kina at South Bay, from out of the university research station near the Pier Hotel. Of course we collected a lot to sell to the guys in the pub for beer money and to eat too of course. Good times....

Who did you use to clean up your paua shells mate??
In the previous video, you see I dropped them off at Pacific Jewels, it's a jewellry shop in Kaikoura on the main road, they specilize in paua shell products and will clean your shells for you, for a fee.
