Beautiful sweater, I have not looked at the video for the full tutorial yet. Do you recommend any particular stretchy yarn for the sweater? Thank you for sharing your videos and knowledge with us❤. The more I learn about all that can be done on an Addie, the more excited I get about all the things that I can make! 🥰
Because of my budget I use mostly 100% acrylic yarn and they do just fine. The only other yarn I have is 100% cotton which is not stretchy at all so I wouldn’t use that on the machine. I am hoping my channel may start earning this year so I’ll have some spare income to spend on fancier yarns. Let me know if you have success with any other types of yarn.
WOW! Definitely would like to see the completed garment, and how you fix this mishap. I am assuming you will come up from the bottom and fix it somehow?
Anything is possible. I love the lace but I think the bubble stitch is becoming a fast favourite for me. How to knit bubble stitch on sentro knitting machine ua-cam.com/video/S90rmCVnFt4/v-deo.html
I am interested in any lacework done on the Sentro 48 needle knitting machine. I just received one for my birthday last week. I actually knit lacework like doilies, tablecloths, and shawls. Any help would be appreciated and I would be most grateful.
You could always try a small yarn, like a sock yarn or even smaller. Never tried a diamond stitch but I imagine it might work if you could latch up stitches like a brim on a hat. I will experiment with this idea. Thanks 😊
@@emilysmith2784 I was thinking of trying with mohair yarn and seeing if it worked maybe missing every other needle on the cast on? Not sure if that would work or not! I’m new at this haha - I’ll look out for more videos!!
When I did a mock up of this pattern I used 100% Acrylic yarn and it worked fine. When I switched to a Wool mix for the real thing I struggled to add eyelets that were too close together as the yarn didnt stretch as much and I had to adjust my pattern. I am still happy with the result. What is your favourite stretch yarn?
This is clearly an intermediate video - I stopped watching because I am just starting to learn. It seems very intriguing and something I want to learn in the future once I grasp the basics. I hope in the future you add audio narration to your videos. Thanks for the tutorial.
Yes I do audio narration on my newer tutorials. I am adding some more beginner friendly tutorials but there are a lot of channels offering the basics. Yay for yarn is an amazing channel if you haven’t seen her tutorials yet.
I wish this was less ASMR and more informative. I found reading the text while trying to look closely at what you are doing was less useful than it could have been

Thanks for the feedback. I do voiceovers in my videos now 😉
I do voiceovers in my more recent videos. I didn’t have a mic, nor the confidence to talk on camera when I first started. Hope that makes sense.
