- I've stayed in Pattaya a week now. Have changed hotels a few times. Took me awhile to find my feet having spent so long in the Philippines. But I've settled in now. Just waking to sunshine every morning and starting my day walking along Beach Road is a great start to the day.
Is Thailand a good country for expats to live or retire to? Is Pattaya a good place to live? Low cost of living, diversity, culture, weather, food and scenery entice foreigners to live in Thailand. Pattaya is a great spot by the sea. Thailand is regarded as the "land of smiles" with Thais being welcome and warm people. Could you live here?

better food and better prices than Phillipines
A few years ago we were there at Terminal 21, my wife and her German friend all could talk about were the female bathroom that had the computer toilet that blowed dry the hoo hoo after pleasant splash mode.

Thanks for the walk around and food mall. I agree on breakfast 50% of the time I book a hotel that has breakfast included I miss it.
You're welcome. I'm always the last one down at 9.55am. Still not hungry then. It's like booking a B&B who serve a full English breakfast only until 9am, having gone to bed at 2.
$$25.00US hotels in Bangkok are a dime a dozen for those that do there homework in Advance, most choose not too. Excellent all around

S Lodge is a great location, yeah rooms are a bit dated, but they are clean and the staff are very friendly.
Only the ones smoking wacky tobacky. The reception staff need to loosen up a little.
