Tradings been well, not the best but im improving day by day trying to perfect my edge and emotions. I think the biggest problem i have right now is entry, sometimes my first entry is always so bad where i have to cut and then within the next 2-5 mins ill find another entry thats 2x better. But im working on that. Thanks for the vid Umar! always looking forward to tuning in with you.
@@JackDaws0n Appreciate you Jack! Entries typically depend on your strategy and what type of trader you are. Unless you're a "Scalper" I would say to go to a level up higher time frames. 1M time frames aren't always the best for most people if that is what you're trading on
@@UmarAshraf28 Thanks for the feedback, i am a momentum volume scalper and typically done within the first 45m of market open, i only use the 1min to trade and sometimes (rarely) look at the 5min for confluence. I think the entry also ties into how much confidence do i have in the setup, so im def working on that.
@@UmarAshraf28 If you have an interest to post a recap live session trade that would be cool to see exactly your entry and exit with reactions would be very beneficiary! But grateful for all the value you provide nonetheless.
Many say risk management and limiting losses is one of the keys to success. Would love to see more videos on this and the psychology behind hoping and holding/stop losses, etc. After 9 months is my main issue.
I'll ask, how do we know it's real? With tdam you can litterly deposit money and get the same graph. Post your trade confirmations with execution prices.
Mad respect for Umar who I discovered about a year ago. I occasionally watch his content. After having a giant year trading in 2021, Omar’s profitability went down about 85% in 2022. And now in 2023 halfway through the year, he is on pace to make less than 30% of what he made the year before. Trending two years in a row significant downturn in profitability. I don’t see that as a criticism, but something is amiss.
But if you look at his trading days he is barely trading. I imagine in previous years he was in the market nearly everyday while it seems like he has already made enough money that he can take many days off.
@@cashcaleb1873 yet in Q1 of 2023 I did see one podcast where he was struggling and commented that at the time of his trading system did not seem to be working. Maybe that’s why there’s significantly less trades. Less confidence in his trading strategy. Tim Grittani went through the same thing after making millions of dollars then for a few years he didn’t make any money compared to the past until he reformulated his strategy.
Salaamu aleikum. Great video Umar, I personally use Tradezella and im finding it rather spectacular. The ability to have the hard data behind my Psych. is just priceless. Prior to subscribing to Tradezella I always used Loom because im more concerned about capturing my psych live right before entering a trade and up until now, I thought it was the best way to do that. I've even contacted your support team to share some feedback as to some features I hope to see in the future. Using Tradezella is by far improving my trading and gives me an aesthetically pleasing way to show my clients my track record.
@@UmarAshraf28 I’m starting a 10k account next week, and I’m really afraid of blowing it. My main question is do you ever trade spy 0dte and if you do, what percentage of your account do you usually put in. Thank you for replying, you are greatly admired from The Arab traders 🙏🏽
@@nacimelrhoul5429 with my experience with 0dte options I would recommend trading 2 days out, because if they trade goes against you, IT REALLY GOES AGAINST YOU
Really good coaching but extremely difficult to follow the trade when you get into the charts. It's like a contest to see how fast you can move the cursor, change the charts and use half sentences. I ran a NYC prop desk and know the game, but this is too hard to follow.
I know this is video is 7 months old, but respect for having complete transparency. I just wanted to reiterate that patience if so important in trading and you DON'T have to trade everyday to make money trading. And in most cases you'll likely make more money trading less by only taking very high quality setups throughout the year. I've been on my trading journey on and off since 2015 and finally starting to find more consistency over the last few years. It's all about patience and risk management. If you have patience, risk management, and the willingness to learn from mistakes and grow as a trader, then there's a great chance you can be a successful trader over time.
Thank you for the video! Could you explain how you managed to make 16k in SPY when you entered with 56.3k at 401.5 and exit at 402.2, which is less than 0.2% difference? 16k is 26% of 56, not 0.2%.
Hey, Umar thank you so much for your videos. how long do you hold on to your position for on your trading days. are you strictly a day trader or do you swing trade as well
Thank you for walking us through all aspects of your trading so far. It is like a 3-dimensional look at your experience, not just technical analysis or metrics and not just psychology, but all elements intermingled. I subscribed to Tradezella because I needed to be more disciplined with tracking my trades, learning to improve. I paid a very high tuition to the Stock Market, and I'm determined to make it work for me. While your actual dollar profits are impressive, I am following you because of your emphasis on process. I appreciate your contributions to our trading community!
Umar, you have been a big help to me over the past year. I would like to know more about your playbook strategies and more detail on each of them. Also a video on where you place stops and why. Thanks!
The reason I love this so much is because it helps people get out of the I need a 90% win rate and all these indicators mind set because as long as you do the 2:1 risk reward you can lose 2 trades but by winning one you are already breakevent
Great video, love it! I went thru almost all of the video's you have on tradezella in the university. It would be great to share more of your playbooks and keep walking thru the trades. SUPER INSIGHTFUL! Thanks brodie
Hi Umar When i saw your video, i finally realized what are some of my mistakes are over the last few years. I blew up my accounts many times just because i became too greedy and wanted to be rich overnight. I traded GOOG, TSLA and QQQ options - every place I lost money. At some point I started to sell put and call, there too lost money. My losses are enormous and I feel I'm an idiot. I am always adding position to my losing trades - hoping they will rebound and get out too soon from good trades. What can I do fix this problem? I promised to myself many times not to do it but I keep doing it.
Excellent video Umar, thank for sharing your expierence with us! Can you make a video explaining how to choose the right or best option contracts in tdameritrade, it will help so much people, thank you!
Good work man. It's awesome seeing you put your progress out here like this. I would love to see the updates throughout the year on this account no matter what happens. Transparency is so hard to find when it comes to people who post about trading on UA-cam, so to see you walk us all through this is refreshing, and it makes me glad I've been subscribed to TradeZella for as long as I have been. Keep up the good work, brother.
I know man. Just found the channel and I was like how come I did not know there were some actual honest and real traders with the data to prove on the internet
Hi Umar Thanks for that, a really educational video packed with value. I am a newbie trader, learning 5 months now, not gone live yet. My first aim is, as much as possible, to avoid the beginners' mistakes that so many professional traders talk about spending their first two years doing. Your trading skill is amazing. I have a question about the time frame you use . Do you just look at 1m or do you believe in multi time frame analysis? I mean even if 1m gives you an opportunity but it's against 5m direction do you gonna enter it? it ?
How has your trading been for 2023? Comment and let me know how I can help! Ill try to make videos with whatever issues you guys are having!
