      Tradings been well, not the best but im improving day by day trying to perfect my edge and emotions.
      I think the biggest problem i have right now is entry, sometimes my first entry is always so bad where i have to cut and then within the next 2-5 mins ill find another entry thats 2x better. But im working on that.
      Thanks for the vid Umar! always looking forward to tuning in with you.

      @@JackDaws0n Appreciate you Jack! Entries typically depend on your strategy and what type of trader you are. Unless you're a "Scalper" I would say to go to a level up higher time frames. 1M time frames aren't always the best for most people if that is what you're trading on

      @@UmarAshraf28 Thanks for the feedback, i am a momentum volume scalper and typically done within the first 45m of market open, i only use the 1min to trade and sometimes (rarely) look at the 5min for confluence. I think the entry also ties into how much confidence do i have in the setup, so im def working on that.

      @@UmarAshraf28 If you have an interest to post a recap live session trade that would be cool to see exactly your entry and exit with reactions would be very beneficiary! But grateful for all the value you provide nonetheless.

    Mad respect for Umar who I discovered about a year ago. I occasionally watch his content. After having a giant year trading in 2021, Omar’s profitability went down about 85% in 2022. And now in 2023 halfway through the year, he is on pace to make less than 30% of what he made the year before. Trending two years in a row significant downturn in profitability. I don’t see that as a criticism, but something is amiss.

    • @cashcaleb1873
      @cashcaleb1873 Рік тому

      But if you look at his trading days he is barely trading. I imagine in previous years he was in the market nearly everyday while it seems like he has already made enough money that he can take many days off.

    • @oceanblue22
      @oceanblue22 Рік тому

      @@cashcaleb1873 yet in Q1 of 2023 I did see one podcast where he was struggling and commented that at the time of his trading system did not seem to be working. Maybe that’s why there’s significantly less trades. Less confidence in his trading strategy.
      Tim Grittani went through the same thing after making millions of dollars then for a few years he didn’t make any money compared to the past until he reformulated his strategy.

Prior to subscribing to Tradezella I always used Loom because im more concerned about capturing my psych live right before entering a trade and up until now, I thought it was the best way to do that. I've even contacted your support team to share some feedback as to some features I hope to see in the future. Using Tradezella is by far improving my trading and gives me an aesthetically pleasing way to show my clients my track record.

    I know this is video is 7 months old, but respect for having complete transparency. I just wanted to reiterate that patience if so important in trading and you DON'T have to trade everyday to make money trading. And in most cases you'll likely make more money trading less by only taking very high quality setups throughout the year. I've been on my trading journey on and off since 2015 and finally starting to find more consistency over the last few years. It's all about patience and risk management. If you have patience, risk management, and the willingness to learn from mistakes and grow as a trader, then there's a great chance you can be a successful trader over time.

    Hi Umar
    When i saw your video, i finally realized what are some of my mistakes are over the last few years. I blew up my accounts many times just because i became too greedy and wanted to be rich overnight. I traded GOOG, TSLA and QQQ options - every place I lost money. At some point I started to sell put and call, there too lost money. My losses are enormous and I feel I'm an idiot.
    I am always adding position to my losing trades - hoping they will rebound and get out too soon from good trades. What can I do fix this problem? I promised to myself many times not to do it but I keep doing it.
