That cat is being very good natured during this adjustment.

Our youngest one would bite your face for sure haha
@@RiffRaf_ No way one of ours is the spawn of satan. You can’t even walk around her. She always has that angry face on and is hissing at everything and everyone. When you decide to pet her you have a few seconds until she slices you into pieces... But yeah the other two are somehow chill
@@sabina6810 you should ask Jackson Galaxy how to handle that nonsense 😆
I've mostly known them to be dog-cats 🥰
Maine Coons are usually one of the most gentle breeds of cats.
I love how the cat is so calm and judging him hard at the same time 😂😂

That first massage on the neck knot, MELT INTO KITTY PUDDLE.
I am impressed with how you communicate with the cat. I noticed you used the slow blink in direct facial contact and a slight downward nod to establish her dominance.
Yes, I'm working many levels at once. Thanks for noticing!
Truly amazing because out of all the animal's I've owned I've found cats to the feistier of them all, I'm shocked Doug does these adjustments without getting scratches!
The slow blink and head lowering often works when I look up to see the wild deer in my yard. They seem to relax and eat the spilled bird seed.

Hi JazzieBee, I think it would be a little too offensive without asking permission. Thanks for your support.
Also endearing.
„I didn’t mean to make fun of you“ awwww! ☺️☺️
Haha, yes, it was a funny moment!
I truly believe that animals know when someone is there to help, hence why the cat was so calm.
I thought the very same thing seconds before I even read your comment, wow. I concur

@@sunnibird I would imagine if it were nonsense then there would be zero success. Maybe there's a little theatrical effort to please the owner and/or the audience, but if you've ever had a bad back, a chiropractor can do wonders.

I loved when he imitated the hiss and she looked at him like “you dare use my own spells against me?”
Awww I love how she just hunkered down as soon as he hit the spot like “I rest now bone cracking human. Thank u.”
As soon as the owner touched the muscle his eyes changed from suspicious to accepting. Love this.
Yes the owner, made all the difference. I'm grateful that he was there!

@@AnimalCrackerDrDougWillen thank you for what you do!
It always impresses me how you can see on the animals face their relief and relaxation after being adjusted. I know how awful and painful it is when I have a pinched nerve and am out of alignment, I really feel for animals having to go their whole life without really being able to tell us where they hurt. This is fantastic.
Thanks Rebekah! Great to have you here,, tonight! I keep trying to read all the animals better. I am at a workshop this week learning how to read the horses better. I'm constantly trying to learn the next piece of the puzzle.

Is a adjustment just as quickly done on a human as on this kitty? Or does size matter?
My dog had been limping for weeks. At first, we fought it was due to his old age and that nothing could be done except getting painkillers prescribed by our vet. But my brother in law, who his a chiropractor, adjusted him, and he immediately recovered. He has been walking normally ever since. It was worth giving it a try

I took in a 3 month old kitten that was nicked by a car and luckily the vet I took her to noticed that her alignment was off. He adjusted her and she instantly got up and started purring. That was over 10 years ago and she still is acting like a kitten! ❤❤❤
@@Dillonmac96 Sounds like you've never had spinal issues to know the benefits of a Chiroprator. Rather it be human or for animals. I suffer from subluxation of the spine through my upper back and neck and the Chiropractors have been my saving grace with pain. My cat had more issues than just that but the vet caught if and adjusted her with easy and of no charge.

That reminds me of a 19 yr old cat I had when I was in med school. I noticed he was having a hard time jumping and asked one of my fellow students who was a chiropractor to come treat him. He got down to the lumbosacral area and there was a HUGE crack and my cat purred like crazy, then jumped down and instantly went to sleep under a table. He was still sleeping when I left a couple hours later so I asked my friend to keep an eye on him. Turns out that cat stayed there, conked out, for a couple more hours, then was fine. My chiropractor friend was just amazed that the cat had laid there on his leg and let him adjust him (cats are smart; he knew he was there to help).❤️😻

Its very endearing, your relationship with animals, not everyone can speak cat. ♡
awww, thank you Pamela!
You're such an animal lover. You can see the animals feel that! Your gentleness in combination with your skills and knowledge...wow 🙏
You must have really balanced energy, highly developed animal communication skills, and fine-tuned touch because, yes, cats are/can be tricky to work with! Thank you for helping the animals and educating people in general. You are a joy to watch.
Venus is really a gorgeous cat! She did look like she was so much more relaxed after her adjustments. You are so great with the animals Doc! I think it's great you are taking classes to keep improving. We can all always be better.
Thanks Megan, I'm trying! I want to keep raising the bar for myself.
Well, the fact that this man still has all of his fingers and skin on his face is a testament to his abilities
She has such an expressive face! I melt when she closes her eyes in relaxation
That’s a good cat there takes a good chiropractor no problem
I absolutely adore you. Look at her, she knows she is safe. Your communication skills are amazing. Poor baby in pain. So glad you are helping them. They have their own languages and most humans can't understand. I can tell you are very educated and it is of utmost importance to you to heal all the animals you can. Bless you
It is also an instinctual thing for many, not necessarily trained. I've always had a keen eye and instinct when handling cats and observing small changes in their behavior. But my family is often surprised the things I can notice or understand well ahead of everyone else. I get compliments from my vet for the sharp eye because I've spotted things in the early onset that could have gotten really bad if overlooked. If you watch your cats closely you can understand so much about what is going on! They don't talk but their behavior can display any problems.
If I hadn't become physically disabled I wish I could have been a vet or vet tech, maybe a specialist in surgeries.
🥰❤️
One of the most amazing parts of owning animals is how much you, and the animals, learn to communicate over time. Both you and the animal learn each other's cues and form your own special 'language' together. It's amazing, and it allows you to interact with them so much more freely, since eventually their body language because second-nature to you. You immediately know what it means, just like the smile of a human being.

I loved that you did the "cat kiss" eye blink to be friends again after it hurt abit.

That cat face relief is the most honest chiropractic review of all youtube. With that said I'm trusting my spine, my bones, my house keys to him completely after watching this video.
I grew up with my dad being friends with his chiropractor who helped a lot with my dad's issues after car accidents. I didn't know for years that chiropractors are stereotyped as being hacks or not real professionals. But most of my experiences in the medical system were atrocious and I sometimes literally knew more about a condition and what treatment I was seeking than the doctors. The chiropractor has always helped with what he could and it was great.
Western medicine is a scam. It's a money dwindling business that does not care about you. Only whats in your pockets and how much they can mess your body up more so that you're stuck in a vicious cycle of debt and pain. I've seen doctors try to break people's spines and pin them back with rods. When in reality, with a good Chiro and massage, that person's spine no longer needed the surgery that was suggested.
Holistic medicine are people that actually cares for your well being, without using harsh poisons. (I'm not saying all western medicine is bad, there are amazing doctors) but you could say there are definitely hacks and con artists in the western medicine world
