Those winter roads there are nothing really compared to up here in Sweden,Norway and Finland. Can not believe they made a whole show about it. Try driving a fully loaded truck in Norway during winter for example. That can be extreme with their roads also.
Well in Scandinavia you can get everywhere on road like even to the North Cape and snowplows making the roads clean. There are barely paved roads in the Northwestern Territory, Alaska, Nunavut, Yukon and with much more extreme conditions like lower temperatures and sudden weather changes or even snowstorms.
Whoever put this together doesn’t know anything about trucks, much less the W900. The one thing they got right is it is an awesome truck. The Kenworth and Peterbilt long nose trucks are the best and most badass trucks out there.
wow 605 hp mine has 780 hp look it's a nice truck but I don't think you've ever driven a European truck in the north of Europe they drive in snow and ice and are on the road for days and European trucks are certainly 20 to 30 years ahead of American trucks
I like scania, but also love these old legends of long nose truck the w900 and peterbilt 379,389, 589, scanias v8 engine and technology in these trucks body is the best combo
@@brianseace4429 do you know how patriotic Americans are? They'd rather have an outdated domestic truck than a technologically-advanced imported one because murica.
They aren't, you crazy dutch cheese clogs guy. Driving in your small truck with small interior? American trucks already had comfort/more horsepower before European trucks did, for example 30 years ago the average hp for trucks was still between 300 (or even lower) to 450 hp while american trucks had already up to 650 hp. Americans trucks had air suspension and all luxury before european trucks had them. The only ''safety'' you got are lane-assist, (smart)digital tachograph and emergency brake assist because you can't drive that well.. that's why you are also speedlimited at 80-90 km/h (50-56 mph) 😂
I've owned 6 of these trucks in my 30 yes of driving and nothing compares to the w900. It is well worth the price
Legend truck
Sick!

I like your videos.
Please show the torque figures to newton metres as well.
id go with a Sisu polar.
Need tri drive truck
😂 lol we have Volvo and Scania that will smoke that truck in dust when it comes too power ! Volvo FH16 sits on 780hp and Scania S and R series 770hp
Do a review of the Peterbilt 379 it's the closest rival to this w900
Like a Silverado to a seiera
The European trucks made by Scania and Volvo outperform this truck in everything you can think of.

Then why aren't they sold in North America

The cabover design is way outdated and was phased out years ago.
