With all of these custom parts you're making I think you guys could make some killer shifters for NV4500, NV5600 and G56's. I broke two short shifters and went back to stock but welded a sleeve over the worn rubber bushing to make it feel better.
Ordered a tappet cover and turns out the gasket was cut to short. No problem. 1 phone call and 5 min later and new one is on the way. Awesome customer service and the guy I spoke with must have never met a stranger! Also, how many dual valve cover breather is he running?
We do have a few 6.0's here at the shop that are daily driven vehicles, surely they will need things addressed as they age! = opportunity for new parts development!

We weren't aware of any other tappet covers on the market that were reverse/forward compatible for both VP44 24v and P7100 12 and 24v engines. But if yours works great, awesome and one less thing to worry about upgrading.... unless you want a cool black one! LOL

Ironically I did order a rack plug with my AFC Live kit... yet to install it... 160 pump set to 16º internal, yup I supposed a couple more degrees couldn't hurt!

It’s been 3-4 weeks waiting for them to send me the correct pump and they just created a shipping label and still haven’t shipped it. Not very happy.
What if you route the breather hose going up coming from the tappet cover to a catch can? Would you still have oil in the catch can? Would it relieve the crank case pressure?
It's totally possible, we just need a mockup engine to verify fitment. They would be low volume production runs so they probably would cost the same as the 6bt version despite consuming less raw materials.
I've read a forum saying that the 215 pump doesn't benefit from the rack plug. But that doesn't make sense to me since it'd be increasing rack travel. Is there someone on here with knowledge on this topic and can shed some light? Much appreciated in advance!
215 pumps have the unique ability to be over racked to where fuel flow increases but the injection window is so long it is no longer possible to burn the fuel in the cylinder. This generally only happens on pumps that have been calibrated more aggressively than stock. Most stock 215 pumps can use a rack plug without getting into the lazy late fuel problem.
215 pumps are not 100% identical in their calibration. 215 pumps do benefit from a rack plug, but if the barrels are racked too far, it's possible to get too much rack travel where the pump elements rotate beyond the helix and you'll end up with a super long injection event, so long all the fuel can't be efficiently burned, and you'll have a smokey mess! We've seen pumps in this unique situation put out over 900 cc's of fuel, but they perform worse than a 500 cc pump. If your pump barrels have not been racked/maxed out, the plug will help. If they have been racked and the plugs pickup up a ton of late and unusable fuel at full throttle, an AFC Live and/or zero fuel plate could be used to dial it back to the perfect maximum..... or let a pump shop do it!
We stock common rail/3rd gen T3 and 3rd/4th gen T4i (stock VGT turbo flange). We do not stock common rail 3rd gen T4 but they are available with the normal 4 to 8 week lead time when we order custom sizes from Steed.
The boot kit contains all the boots that are used in the boost/charge air system. Is there a different intake boot you are looking for? Like pre-turbo angled intake hose and/or air filter connection?
@@pddofficial there is 2 boots for the intake spider where they hook to the plenum. I plan on ordering a kit so I wanted to see if you have them for sale so when I order the charge boots I’ll buy them too.

I have a G&R billet cover it’s just like that and a one piece o ring. Works with 12&24 valve but I love that black version.

I have a vp44 and got a billet tappet cover from crazy carl. Everything bolted right up and no leaks yet. It wasn't cheap though.
