Some great stuff here, both on-the-nose and deep cuts. The digs at Goldeneye's score, Quantum's editing - well done. But the brazen dismissal of NTTD's second half - I couldn't agree more. I've never had my opinion change on a Bond movie so distinctly delineated as that one. Great job.
Tomorrow Never Dies is probably the best Bond film from the perspective of just being pure stupid fun. Most other Bond movies from 1987 onwards have tried to be more character-driven and soulful (certainly a welcome change after the cringe hamminess of the Moore Era), and have had varying degrees of success, but Tomorrow Never Dies just wants to be a big dumb explosive action movie, and it does it very well.

Favourite one: "The brutal edit"
Hit the like button at You Only Live Twice, literally laughed out loud at For Your Eyes Only 😂😂
Goldeneye absolutely rules I don't get it
100% it’s a great Bond movie without which the franchise would likely have collapsed.
it is great but the soundtrack can be a little.... jarring/hasnt held up in places, i think thats what its getting at
Is it? Or is the Bond we saw when we were 13?
@@oldschooloverlordyes, it is
I think it’s a reference to Eric Serra’s electronic themes rather than a comment on the movie itself.
I still find it hilarious that someone at Eon appears to think Japanese and Vulcan are the same race.
This is spot on!
What did Goldeneye do to you?
Goldeneye was great and arguably saved the franchise.
@@eldante4139 If its not at least a top 5 bond movie for someone I cant take them seriously
I think it’s meant to be a reference to the film’s soundtrack.
No Time To Die was amazing.
Brilliant Tom!
Tomorrow Never Dies had me cracking up.
Haven't seen the movie but it was a good joke

No Time to Die one should be Spectre

Spot on!
