Congrats to Lewis, although the post race reaction by the brits has been somewhat over the top; George had a DNF, Mclaren killed both drivers, and the Red Bull pace in the cool/greasy/wet conditions was nowhere. Once again, Mclaren gave away a race win. Monaco aside, Lando could have won every race since Miami, and the WDC could be within two race wins. Given how I view Oscar, one could argue that this could be Lando's best chance at a driver's title....if the Mclaren is the best overall package next year, he will have to not only fight Max, but Oscar will be an even bigger obstacle for him. Mercedes pace seems real, however, again we've had lower grip, cool, greasy conditions which I think still flatters the kinematic suspension attitude of their car; their car rolls beautifully, somewhat similar to the Mclaren. The RB20 however, just doesn't do well in these conditions; the car is just so stiff, with a much more narrow setup window when compared to the Mclaren. Max is going to have to "hold on" to win the WDC this year.
