Not a protest! St George's Day Patriots celebrating England's National Day.
There wasxa ULEZ protest.
Honestly all those cops for a St George's parade? Very few there for protesters shouting terroristic threats!
And dressed in riot gear too! There must be an enquiry at the highest level. Heads must roll .
English patriots celebrating St Georges day ❤🏴❤️🏴❤️🏴
...and being a pain.
The celebration went off without incident until an over zealous police officer on horseback decided to charge at an old man carrying an umbrella 🤔 but if you were there you would’ve seen it and not just assumed that we were at fault 🙈
Early finish and Ormonde's not complaining!
Ormonde couldn't get side fast enough...love that horse
He picks who he's gonna nip. 😊
@@Rebel4Freedom😂😂😂😂 Yes he does, and he takes great delight in it!
Me too ❤ he's definitely a king. He commands respect 💪💪❤❤❤
God bless England,we should not bow down but rise to what is happening to this once great country, this is the kings land !!! Not anyone elses!!! But ours, who respect it,where is our tradition gone, sadly being taken over by the world going backwards 🦕
Bien venu sur ce monde de fou,,,, nous subissons la même chose en France, c'est pourquoi je vous comprends 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
It’s bathe same in the usa
Can't remember riot police at Palestine marches 😮🏴🇬🇧
so? it wasnt a protest it was a celebtation of St george day
@@littlebigkicker Correct!
no, but I can remember reading about Israeli's bombing British Service personnel.
@Longshanks1963. I believe the difference is that the Palestinian protest was registered and this one was spontaneous and not registered.
@libbyworkman3459 no they aren't they are funded by evil people and they are just actors 🙄
Ormonde saw the riot gear on those horses and said "Gimme gimme I wanna have armor so I can hurt more muahahaha" He seemed very interested lol
He would take the lead for sure 😅❤
It is time to get rid of Sunak and Khan sack the London police chief for allowing the police to forcibly breaking up a peaceful celebration of our national saint's day
I'll say this to the lady trooper, "Use those expressive arms girl, you're getting the message across to those numb-nuts"😊
She's very animated.
Armonde gets agitated when ppl protest or parade down the street directly in front of him. Horses are taken back for safety reasons. These are military in horses.
Yes. We've seen several previous street activities--protests, bikers, parades, etc.--that spooked horses.
TBF He gets agitated
about most things
The lady Trooper has a superb voice , no nonsense soldier !
Well done patriots. Keep it up❤
It is St George's Day. ! ! Well the good thing is that no other marches or gatherings can be allowed if our own peaceful gathering causes this reaction.
The was a protest ULEZ march.
@@juliawigger9796 no
We are no longer allowed to celebrate our British culture
Everyone has an opinion, but few know what the authorities know, and for good reason. In today's world, one with hateful destructive intentions can and have cause disastes,r while I enjoy celebration, like the rest of us, precautions are far better than grief.
Guards and horses are always taken in, away from situations considered dangerous. Unfortunately these lockdowns are happening more and more frequently.
Absolutely right and rather see our horses and guards safe, It was noisy especially with all police vehicle sirens and if the horses spook with all the flag waving, too late in the day after someone gets mowed over by having to run from two huge horses trying to get to the sanctity of their stables. We can only hope that one day soon and perhaps with a new Police Commissioner London will be returned to Londoners.
When two mounted policeman came by, I clearly saw clear shields over the horses eyes. I figured it was protection from teargas or something like that. I’m glad they think to protect the horses from whatever might happen.
Disgraceful Metropolitan police hundreds of them out for a peaceful St, George's Parade, we can't even march for our own British culture anymore.
How is this a protest, they are celebrating St. Georges Day.
They attacked police. Some bad apples spoil the bunch.
@@Tracywhited2where’s your prove
@@Tracywhited2wrong the police charged on horseback at peaceful patriots one of them was an old man with an umbrella hardly a hardened criminal unless you are blind 😱 and all because they didn’t move fast enough two tier policing was in full effect 🙈
@@Tracywhited2 Police attacked them and tried their hardest to start trouble with the peaceful people.
Well Ormond gets a long break with his Horse fellows and a extra Apple
They only do one hour shifts but yes Ormond gets a day off!! It must be annoying a little bit to saddle up, don your full uniform then be taken back but it *was St Georges Day.
No one in the comments seem to understand that this area is at the heart of Government, that Horseguards itself houses the offices of the senior Major General and is within the Ministry of Defence.
Celebrations are fine as long as they are registered with the police; spontaneous celebrations are not allowed in the area of the Government; nor are demonstrations where the English Defence League is seen and heard to be chanting their neo-fascist rhetoric.
I celebrate St George's Day and attend properly organised events.
Did you proof read or just c&p a BBC briefing 🤔
Thanks for the education. Peace.
How ridiculous. They were peaceful and celebrating St George's day!
Nope, attacked the police
They didn't attack the police.. the police stopped them walking where they wanted to go..🇬🇧@@Doodleswoo13
@@Doodleswoo13absolute rubbish. The police were aggravating them from the start. When do you see the filth with riot gear on during a pro Hamas protest, never. The police were looking for trouble and probably had their people in the crowd causing trouble.
@@Doodleswoo13 Silly woman
@juliefurlong4830 actually, the police blocked that road, there were people still walking to the main group to join up. The police got in the middle and started shoving. The group, the police shoved, had been told to walk up there, by police at the other end. It was a set up.
When will our voices and culture's be RESPECTED.
That goes for all peace loving cultures
I am glad to see that the protesters are allowing this British tradition to go on!
Not protectors x
wasnt a protest it was a celebration
A bunch of trouble makers trying to disrupt StGeorge Day celebrations..
Good video. Thank you for sharing 🙂
Triste pero la situacion se pone mas caótica en el mundo.
I have an idea: Why don't they celebrate by having a fiesta at a park by selling various goods, including ice cream, etc., to the public and maybe include performers or mini shows and donating monies to charities afterwards. Wouldn't that be more constructive?
Because it's a military barracks not a theme park
The police have turned this peaceful celebration into a near riot - WHY
No, it's the people who march who cause the problem. The police are there to protect the public. As a member of the public, we should be grateful that they are there.
You cant have a total peaceful anything any more because of all the chaos of SOME of the immigrants that are there and in the USA.
Ormonde the Great
Don’t be like those here in the USA that are afraid to be cautious in this day and time that theywill hurt someones feelings. They wait until something happens then say “Oh My”
Ironic that cavalry horses are cleared but police horses go straight out there
Maybe because the Police horses are trained differently xx
Of course they are. They are trained in riot/ crowd control situations.
Finally, well it’s about time the police took a decisive action. FINALLY! ❤. Nobody should be within those gates. Most don’t understand how to properly behave. And frankly it’s too dangerous to allow just anyone Willy- Nilly.
Jistory has taught them ,that in these situations safety is best for everyone
Well, it's been allowed for too long and now chances are it will only get worse. Sad to say.
😮😮😮😮 Why so many police officers. I am not british, I don't see any wrong with the people who was walking, with their flags and so on
I watched a few videos where people protest about save the children and what not, and I didn't saw many police officers when they march. The horses wasn't taken into the stables, they were standing in their boxes. So this doesn't make sense to me at all
Yup but would you let the horse bite eveyone if they were left in place
thats a good idea, stand so the horse can reach your child next to the sign that says horse may kick or bite. Ormonde gives warnings
When will England be England again?
St Georges Day is on the 23rd of April.
I wonder if they wondered why all the 'english patriots' so active online didn't turn up? We all remember our first time when we realise the 'people of the Internet' aren't who they say they are. At least they didn't lose a fortune to an unbelievably attractive person apparently keen on lasting romance.
It was a weekday. Most of the English patriots were at work. Many don’t live near London.
There were hundreds of people kettled and not allowed to join the main parade. The police caused the situation.
Ormand is a biter
Esqueceram as placas do lado de fora .
St George is patron saint of many European countries, not just uk and Turkey boy!!😅
Why didn’t they have a parade for the holiday?
The protestors got there first...
Saw a Knights Templar flag
😮😮😮😮 Oh my
WTF?
🎉what is wrong with my boy don't tell me he's not right because he's Ormonde and has a mind of his own what's happened. I don't like this
.he's a legend and please don't tell me anything else .
I don't know! It's mix afternoon here! And I just came up on this! It might be something with demonstrations or protesters. The horses looked good as they walked back in. But I really don't want anything to happen to the horses or their troopers.
Hormone is an absolute classic . Can pick an idiot out .
@markstannard5658. I am assuming you’re talking about Ormonde. I think of him as Mr. PMS myself.
It’s great. StGeorge’s day parade. No protest . Unlike pro Palestinians
That’s how they protect the place? With a chain bought from a local hardware store?
@dianee7778. Most tourists don’t carry bolt cutters.
@@libbyworkman3459 it’s tacky. They should invest in REAL security. And….no one ever thought that someone could get past security and enter the Queen’s bedroom, but they did. It’s 2024 and it’s time for an upgrade for everyone’s safety.
The most sirens i ever heard in my life. London. Thats only on videos. We can go months without hearing them.. It would be unnecessary to have the horses listen to that..
They forgot to take the signs in ... 🙄
Glad to see that they are not taking chances in the protesters turning unruly and injuring the horses or the Guards.
Protestors?..they were celebrating St Georges day...pity they dont panic when the left wing protestors protest every bloody weekend
There where NO PROTESERS JUST ENGLISH MEN AND WOMEN CELEBRATEING SAINT GEORGE'S DAY PATRON SAINT OF ENGLAND GET IT RIGHT
That hand marking on Ormonde's head just makes me want to say don't bite the hand that feeds you but what if the one biting IS the hand??
Also Who is closing the gate I see chains moving and I hear a voice replying to the tourists but no people there where could they be? (camo joke I like bad jokes sorry not sorry lol)
Do they have a planned route on the footpath, or just behave like a football rabble and walk everywhere.
Tja Leute, heute ist kein Streichelzoo😂
HM must be turning in her grave.......😢
who?
The UK police definitely have double standards, don't get this heavy handed crap when Palestine & Muslims protest... Bloody joke
Not being funny t horse guards should get t people that train police horses to work with theirs so they aren’t so spooked
The crazy thing about the red cross of St George being used for racist reasons is , ST George was a Turk . and also died in what is now Israel .
There was no Turkey in the 400th century. He was Greek and a Christian.
@@greenandpleasant5523 The 400th century ?. We are only in the 21st today . 🤣🤣. Greek Christian parents, in Cappadocia. but certainly not English .
@@8ballphil150 Indeed, I should have said 4th. I’m blaming it on the late hour!
@@greenandpleasant5523 🤣🤣I had figured that .
Who uses the cross of St George for racist reasons?
Racism is vanishingly rare among English people, who have no problem at all with a foreign saint, who is also the patron of several other countries.
Do you have a problem with foreigners?
The word Patriot has taken on a new and distasteful meaning.
Made a mistake in the original comment. Thank you to the ones who replied.
What or who are the protesters this time?
They are not obnoxious, they are English people celebrating St George's day. Every other country seems to want to protest in London so why not give English people a turn. It's only for a day.
Are English people not allowed to celebrate anything , seems not. Take some pride in your heritage.
Nothing obnoxious about being proud of England and its heritage there were veterans who served in that so called obnoxios protestors. It was patriotic English showing how we still Celebrate St Georges Day. Or in your opinion is this not allowed?
@@BevWalther St Georges day celebration is not a protest. Although the Met police treated inocent people celebrating as far right extreamists.
Again..what is the 3rd time today. never understand why the King can't stop the protesting down this street...sad...tell the people to go to there own country
Not a protest , St George's Day Military Parade !
They are in their own country.
this is celebrating England! Not a protest you div
Simples, the King has no executive powers
@@adz9580wrong, the celebration is of St George, patron Saint of England, Aragon, Malta, Ukraine, Ethiopia, Bosnia Herzegovina and many others
Protect from MUPPETS !!
Disgraceful behaviour. Shame on these soldiers. Who we pay their salaries. They don’t do this to any of the other gathering. So just what the heck is going on. Englishmen are the target. 🤷♀️.
What did the soldiers do?
@@scruff3760 why did they shut it down. It looks like they are scared of their people. Are we to be feared in our own country. It’s not us that going around blowing people up. These people have every right to celebrate.
What the hell are they protesting about
It's St George's day celebrations
There was no protest.. it was a march for st Georges day.. they don't like people flying England flags.. it's sad.. 🏴🏴🏴🏴
There was also a protest march against ULEZ
pathetic soldiers and police..a disgrace
After watching the horses nip at people and watching riders seem very inexperienced on horseback this doesn't surprise me.the horses need to be trained to remain calm and respect the space of people.they need ground manners
Tourists need to show more respect and not touch the horses, as well stand at a respectful distance. These animals are not fairground ponies for hire. Being constantly pawed at is enough to unsettle any animal.
They’re taught ground manners before they’re broken to ride. Ormonde and arnie may be older and nearing retirement. The tourists piss them off. Ormonde bit the major (one with hat on and the stick) the other day.
@@Cosmic-lover293 then why are they so lippy? My horses don't do that.none of the horses at the stable do that unless they're pregnant or they are stallions and still in tact.also,if the rider had control of the reigns the horse wouldn't do that
The horses should not be freely accessible to the tourists many of whom have no idea how to behave safely around horses.
The fact that the guards have to control the horse single handed is daft they don’t need to sit with their sword drawn whilst on ceremonial duties. the horses do seem to be quite highly strung maybe the ideal breed for battle but not so much for ceremonial duties, the police horses always seem much calmer.
@@linnyw1072 some horses are a bit green, even after training thy can still be green. Like you said, could be an influx of new riders, they only train 8 weeks I think. Hard to keep control of the reins when you’ve got to hold a sword as well. The bit is quite severe, and like with all horses, some are ok with it, some fight it. Some probably find it uncomfortable. The younger ones probably. Some horses are hand fed treats and such, this can make them nippy. Other than that, it’s the tourists and all the row they put up with everyday. It’s got to bother them to a certain extent. My pony has lovely manners. Though on occasion, he forgets himself. He was nippy when I hand fed treats. I put them on the floor and he’s much better. Sometimes he’s just having an off day and is grumpy 🤷🏼♀️
