Surfcasting the West Coast of Auckland

It's been a long time since I last got out the surfcasting gear, but due to a spell of terrible weather in Auckland, and not being able to get out on the kayak, I decided to pull the surfcaster out of retirement and hit the West Coast of Auckland for some land-based fishing. Luck was on my side this mission with a nice trevally coming home!

awesome Greg haha this was the same beach were I lost my rod and reel setup. man that was a rough day. good work on landing the trev though. can't believe how much rubbish was washed up on that beach though.... so sad to see.

I got mine from the distributor. I'm not sure if they sell them in shops any more unfortunately. Definitely my favourite bag. Looks like a newer model is still available though onecheq.co.nz/products/abu-garcia-back-pack-waterproof-charcoal
