Next Air Supply song you should react to is "Making Love Out of Nothing At All". I'd suggest the original to fully appreciate their voices from when they were younger.
Suggest listening to the official video from 1980 to hear the album version. This acoustic version is nice, but it is not as good as the original. "Makin' Love out of Nothing at All" is another hit.
They do this song still amazing at this age, you should hear them when they were younger.. there ballads have so much more power in them with the full compliment of vocals and band.
You definitely got a listen to the original version when they did it back in 1980 the voices and the vocals were beautiful and there vocal range was crazy back then
Air Supply is a soft rock duo formed in Melbourne, Australia, in 1975, consisting of Englishman Graham Russell (vocals, guitar) and Australian Russell Hitchcock (vocals). With record sales of 100 million worldwide, they had a succession of hits worldwide, including eight top-five hits on the US Billboard Hot 100, "Lost in Love" (1979), "All Out of Love", "Every Woman in the World" (both 1980), "The One That You Love", "Here I Am" (both 1981), "Sweet Dreams", "Even the Nights Are Better" (both 1982) and "Making Love Out of Nothing at All" (1983). In Australia, they had four top ten placements with "Love and Other Bruises" (1976), "All Out of Love", "Every Woman in the World" and "The One That You Love". Their highest charting studio album, The One That You Love (1981) reached number ten in both Australia and the US. The group, which relocated to Los Angeles in the late 1970s, has included many members, with Hitchcock and Russell at the core. The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) inducted Air Supply into their Hall of Fame on 1 December 2013, at the annual ARIA Awards.
I agree with the other comments, gotta listen to the original version. They have put out some great songs. I can’t hear this song now without thinking of the movie The Wedding Date. Dermot Mulroney sings it in the shower scene. One of my favorite movies and a great song!
Their voices are DEFINITELY still amazing, but quite deeper than they used to be. But back in the 70s & 80s, they both had much higher voices that just flowed so naturally.
I grew up with Air Supply in the '80s. Some amazing love songs... going to see them live in a few weeks. When my daughter was an infant, and she was having one of those nights that she just didn't want to sleep, I would walk around in circles in the living room, trying to soothe her and most nights, I was singing Air Supply songs to her while doing so. Didn't always work, but more often than not, after a few songs, she would calm down and fall asleep.
There's a TV channel that plays short concerts (cant remember the name) and I remember watching a concert with Air Supply with Chicago. They played songs from both groups, together. It was a fantastic collab I never knew I needed ❤
Nice to see you reliving my younger years, I remember the first time I heard these songs like it was yesterday. I envy you being able to discover all these songs for yourself the first time.
These are card carrying members of the PDC Club! The Kings of the ballads. More Air Supply: Making Love Out Of Nothing At All, Lost In Love, Even The Nights Are Better, Here I Am, The One That You Love
In the 80's they released many hits. I went to watch them performing twice and they are still touring. You should react to the originals back then when their voices were much stronger. You are gonna get nuts.
Air Supply is one of those bands, like ABBA, that a lot people loved back in the day but were afraid to admit it. We saw them in concert last year and they still sound really good.
This is from their acoustic hits album which was very good. Try their older albums from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s… their voices shifted by the 2000s… but I love them forever
Yes it's one of those songs you can hear whenever you feel alone😁👍I used to hear this when I was a kid😄but there was another version sung by Andru donalds🥳🙌🏻you should check that out too🙋🏻♂️🕺
You are correct, they did sound way better in the 80’s. I saw them in concert back in the 80’s and it was the mellowest concert EVER because all of them songs are ballads. 😂
Air Supply is great. Check out Jimmy Fortune of the former Statler Brothers Quartet. Jimmy Fortune is in a new group called Brothers of the Heart. They sing all genres, and a lot of inspirational stuff.
This was the must play slow dance song of my High School years. Now I’m a 58 year old melanin disadvantaged Canadian man who never married cuz I couldn’t find a girl as pretty, sweet and sassy/smart as you Miss Britt. Became a huge fan when you “got” Norm Macdonald and appreciated Gordon Lightfoot, not to mention Billy Joel and Steve Perry. Check out the official “The Warrior” video by Patty Smyth of the band Scandal, you will love her 80s look and energy. And keep your eyes open for a fifty something year old version of you…. for me! lol. I wish you much luck and love in your life young lady. Keep your powder dry and your stick on the ice!
"Pretty" is a good way to describe Air Supply's music. The song was released in 1980, when the singers were around 30. This is reacting to a much more recent performance.
When I was in College, my dormmate was from Trinidad. He was trying to make money scalping Concert Tickets for Air Supply. He didn't know that their music was soft rock, that was popular with women. So he was stuck with extra tickets. So us 5 guys went to the Concert. We were the only men at the Air Supply Concert surrounded by 10,000 women. Yes, the Concert was Great! and I think some panties dropped.
This is the acoustic version done long after the original, you can check out the video for that. For me they are mostly an 1980's band and their vocals were better when they were younger. When I grew up in the 1980's I didn't like ballads, or so I thought. It turned out that I just think ballads are extremely hard to do good and almost no one except Air supply can make good ballads. They are far superior to all other bands when it comes to ballads.
At 7:03 that character you brought in was hilarious!!!...with the lower voice, that one squinty eye and head tilt....hahahalarious. I think that's gonna be you in the future doing reaction videos from the Nursing home. And I hope I'm here for it. lol
I know you like live performances but you should really listen to the studio version of this song. They were much younger back then and their voices were mesmerizing.
Check out their original of this song. Air Supply was formed in 1975. This song was released in 1980. Lead singer, Russell Hancock, IMO, has one of the world's greatest pop rock voices and he still sounds wonderful as does Graham Russell. Their greatest songs, including this one, include Lost In Love, Even The Nights Are Better, The One That You Love, Every Woman In The World, Here I Am, Sweet Dreams etc etc. They have sold over 100 millions records worldwide. They are great. Thanks for sharing. Making Love Out Of Nothin At All
Everyone is hating on this version, i think its beautiful and feels more personal and heartfelt. Studio is better technically but I felt this one more.
Thanks for your reaction! I highly recommend these songs: Al Jarreau - Your Song Grace Jones - Slave to the Rhythm Diana Ross | Remember Me (4K HD) Culture Club - Victims (Video 1983) a-ha - There's Never a Forever Thing (Official Video) The Crusaders & Randy Crawford - Street life (video/audio edited & remastered) HQ Randy Crawford - People alone SIMPLY RED - I WON'T FEEL BAD Simply Red - The Right Thing (Official Video) Sade - Love is Stronger than Pride Sade - Your Love Is King A-ha - Summer Moved On (Official Video) Level 42 - Lessons In Love (Official Music Video) Level 42 - Something About You (Official Music Video) Brenda Russell - Piano In The Dark (Official Video) Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence (Live in Berlin) Sophie Ellis-Bextor - Murder On The Dancefloor The Mamas & The Papas - Dedicated to the One I Love (The Ed Sullivan Show)
They sound OK still but I would suggest that you listen to them from 1980-1983 era. Lost in Love, Every Woman in the World, The One That You Love and Just When I Thought I Was Over You are all big hits worth a listen.
Looking at the comments.... Definitely listen to the original. They just don't have the vocal range in this one. Their voices blew me away in the 80's. One of my favorite duos.
Ur right about causing ur own heartache, I'm still feeling it since I destroyed the relationship with my high school sweetheart when we were in h.s. and I'm 45 now. We were supposed to get married and everything but trauma I went through as a kid caused me to not see what I had or have trust in her and to this day I've never forgiven myself for the pain I caused I her.
Absolutely love this song and your reaction can you please react to Phil Collins wish it would rain down the video version featuring Eric Clapton it’s amazing
Just to help the algorithm, I am listening to this reaction with the sound off. I loath this earworm of a song. As a joke, back when people listened to their voicemale, I would call when I knew they couldn't answer and sing this into their VM so it would get stuck in their head all day.
This version is terrible compared to the original track. Their age and limitations are all over it. This band was huge in the 80s, and this song along with "Making love out of nothing at all" were terrific examples of what is may be considered an Age of Romance for music. Ballads were written cleanly without being overproduced by a AAA music company with a hundred background sounds.
Absolutely listen to the 1980’s version. Air Supply and Journey had the best love ballads.
The late ‘70’s and’80’s were the height of Air Supply. These two were amazing! Both “Russells” could sing like angels.
They do this song still amazing at this age, you should hear them when they were younger.. there ballads have so much more power in them with the full compliment of vocals and band.
You definitely got a listen to the original version when they did it back in 1980 the voices and the vocals were beautiful and there vocal range was crazy back then
Air Supply started in 1975 with their 1st hit in 1979. This song came out in 1980. Huge hit!
This version was good, but check out the official video.
You really need to listen to their studio versions. You will be amazed how great their younger voices are.

I just love Air Supply. Such an amazing duo!
One of my favorite from the 1970’s. I think you would enjoy listening to them back then.
They were huge in the 80s this song played at quite a few proms back in the day
Def gotta do more air supply reactions
Love the harmonies in this stripped down version. Never heard this version, it's fantastic ❤
I had this tape when I was in highschool. I’m 56 now. They’ve been around awhile. 🇨🇦
Russell Hitchcock, vocals, is 75 and Graham Russell, guitar and vocals, is 74.

Jr High early 80's, Air Supply was played at the teen dances and school dances. They were the king of slow dancing love songs.
You need to hear Making Love Out Of Nothing At All!!!!
There's a TV channel that plays short concerts (cant remember the name) and I remember watching a concert with Air Supply with Chicago. They played songs from both groups, together. It was a fantastic collab I never knew I needed ❤
Saw them in Nashville a few months back. 70 something dudes singing just as recorded some 35 years ago. Nostalgic stuff for sure.
This song was done in the 70s and they still sound great
I found this album recently at my Mama "s when cleaning her house out . 80's love songs
Russell Hitchcock in the early 80's had a powerhouse voice!!!!! You'd be beside yourself over his voice!!!!
Nice to see you reliving my younger years, I remember the first time I heard these songs like it was yesterday. I envy you being able to discover all these songs for yourself the first time.
Kings of ballads. Such beautiful voices full of longing. Sigh. :)
Saw them last year in Melbourne Australia their home town . They were so good ,thoroughly enjoyed the show cheers from OZ
These are card carrying members of the PDC Club! The Kings of the ballads. More Air Supply: Making Love Out Of Nothing At All, Lost In Love, Even The Nights Are Better, Here I Am, The One That You Love
Came in "like a rainy Sunday morning"? Poetic Britt. He was much younger when they did this originally.
In the 80's they released many hits. I went to watch them performing twice and they are still touring. You should react to the originals back then when their voices were much stronger. You are gonna get nuts.
Let me be the first to say that Air Supply was a top Aussie duo formed in 1975
Air Supply is a great band who started in 1975 I believe. They made such beautiful music
Their voices have changed so much, you should listen to this from the original tract
They sound good here. They sounded GREAT back in the day!
I was so frustrated watching this bc the original version is all harmonies, and beautiful at that!😊
My favorite song of theirs is "Here I am"
Another song to check out by them is "Making Love Out Of Nothing At All".
Weird that she found such a new video of this song never seen them older
Air Supply is one of those bands, like ABBA, that a lot people loved back in the day but were afraid to admit it.
We saw them in concert last year and they still sound really good.
Looking forward to seeing them in Laughlin NV in August
Great 70s n 80s bandOut of Nothing at All is truly great.
This is from their acoustic hits album which was very good. Try their older albums from the 1970s, 1980s, 1990s… their voices shifted by the 2000s… but I love them forever
Absolutely love watching your reactions!!! I love Air Supply!! You really need to watch/listen to John Barrowman's cover of All Out of Love!!!!
Added!
Yes it's one of those songs you can hear whenever you feel alone😁👍I used to hear this when I was a kid😄but there was another version sung by Andru donalds🥳🙌🏻you should check that out too🙋🏻♂️🕺

If you want to hear Air Supply, you should hear Air Supply. These guys are 45 years older than they were when this song came out.
Never seen this version but they sounded better in the 70's and in the 80's, early 90's too
The studio version is much better.

They did well with this but you need to hear the original track. Also their song "Making Love Out of Nothing At All.
Songs to check out: can't fight this feeling REOspeedwagon one last time Dusty Drake every rose has its thorn Poison
A good version but the original studio version kicks ass over this acoustic later track.

Definitley Do The original Studio version of a song called The one that you love 1980 To hear Them at their full power
Air Supply was always a sold group, but I've always thought their recorded songs were better than the live versions. - Just me.
Looking at the comments.... Definitely listen to the original. They just don't have the vocal range in this one. Their voices blew me away in the 80's. One of my favorite duos.
Mason Ramsey - Blue Over You

It is a shame that you are the only one that can see it ?
