Bear in mind this is a workaround technique and won't get you a perfect instrumental and if the vocals have stereo effects it's sadly unlikely to work well at all.

Please be aware that for this workaround technique to work a sound has to produced and mastered in a certain way. If the vocals cross channels then this just won't work I'm afraid.

To extract a synthesizer from an audio track in Adobe Audition, you can use the Center Channel Extractor effect too but I’d try AI tools for cleaner extraction.

I mean the sound that the base singer recorded in the song still remains. Nothing happens with changing frequencies. Can you help? LOVE YOU
The only true way to achieve what you want to achieve is to get the instrumental. This work around works very well if the song is produced in a certain way but can, as you've discovered, still leave remnants of the vocals.

If the drums are in the centre channel and you want to keep the vocals then you're also keeping the drums I'm afraid. Without the individual stems of the song you can't selectively remove elements.
Coming back to this over sometime ago to work on old VODs, reason why I love using Elgato's Wave Link with OBS Studio to have each audio source on it's own independent track; ie, game audio, music, mic, spotify, soundboard, etc etc
With the channel extractor you can either remove the centre channel or the side channels. You don't have the ability to remove individual instruments. For that you'd need the original stems and mute the ones you don't want in your mix.

Hi! I searched all over the internet but I found nothing about my problem. I’ll appreciate if anyone could help. I don’t know I missed something or its a bug. I put EQ and Compressor on track and tune up the sound. So far so good, but when I try to automate the track on latch or touch mode all I’v done to EQ and Comp will be perished as though I just put a new one! All zero! Any one knows what’s happening or what I missed?

You forgot the about the 'beginners' out here. Some of us are brand new to Au, and need instruction from the very beginning as in 'How to add the file"? Do we 'Open' the file? ... or Do we "Import" the file? ... or do we add a "New File"? What is the best way of these three option? How do we add the track to the timeline (?) properly. I am sure each method has it pro's and con's and it sure would be nice to know the difference. Can you please make a new video that starts from the very beginning? We would really appreciate it. All the 'Newbies' thank you in advance.

Yes, the vocal/instrumental extraction feature is available in the latest version of Adobe Audition.
In music there's backing vocals, how can i remove the main vocals from the instrumenst but still keeping the backing vocals?
The only way to do this would be by having the stems and creating your own mixdown with just the elements you want

You can use this and work on lowering the side channels while keeping the centre channel full in the mix.

You could try using Denoise or capturing a noise print of just the noise you want to remove and using Noise Remover.

Nothing that I know that would natively work in Logic Pro X. You may be best to go with a plugin such as iZotope RX.

Success depends on how the track is produced and mastered. Any vocals off the centre channel will cause less desirable results.

This won't work on all tracks depending on how they're produced

For this technique to work the music needs to have been mixed in a certain way therfore it deosn't work on all tracks

Bear in mind that this is a workaround and you are essentially asking the software to perform the impossible. Most times it does a very good job
