As someone who has been playing the game since the release of PHY Broly 70% lead as well and rerolled to get him to start global and has gone through the many ups and downs of this game, I’ve just accepted that people are going to complain whenever the game isn’t what they want or their summons don’t give them what they want. Seeing this whole debate about Global being dry, the banners being bad, the devs being scummy etc, honestly just shows me the entitlement that people have for this game. It is a gacha game, it is designed to make you want to spend money, you are not owed the character no matter how much money or stones you sink into a banner. Luck is luck plain and simple. I swear the newer player base is just so spoiled that it expects that they basically be given the new unit within a set amount of stones, it just shows me that if you would have started 7 years ago, most of you would have quit. That you could not have handled the days where it was better for you to do single summons rather than multis, you were not given a gssr, you were not given pity coins, you were not given free elder kais, free orbs, free zeni, meat for stamina, and everything was scarce. The content was so minuscule it wasn’t even funny. This is by far the best celebration we have had, we all knew it was coming 6 months ago, we all expected the 3 and 1 free format based off JP’s anniversary, not only did we get that but it was discounted and tickets. The only thing we didn’t foresee was literally the new banner format for part 1 which was clearly stated it was for part 1. Is it the Devs fault you blew your whole load on Gogeta and Broly? No. We all knew Beast was coming part 2, it’s nobody else’s fault except your own that you did not skip other banners prior to anniversary, that you had to have the shiny new toy from every banner that came out since saiyan day, DB Heroes banner, or even WW of last year, it’s also your own fault you did not limit how many stones you were willing to use on Gogeta and Broly banners, and then you want to come on here and go after Truth for speaking facts versus your opinions based off pure salt on either your summons results or even the fact he gets paid to bust his ass making content along with taking the ridicule he does? Nahhh, none of that sits right, take some accountability Global players and accept the fact you just have a gambling addictions instead of being able to control your impulse to summon. Global players cried and yelled before the Part 2 banners, called Truth names. And when the banner came out with tickets, global cricket. I can understand removing the guaranteed featured step ups, Akatsuki does run a business, not a charity.
However u must admit its a bit greedy reducing the chances ever so slightly on a banner they know every1 will summon on. I'm not complaining tho I got him in 100 stones 😂
They did not remove that bc it was too good, they removed it bc they want to test it to see how players will perceive it and comparing it with the part 2 sales probably to see how they can handle future big celebrations format, they’ve done that with Carnival x DFE format, we got it at WWC 2022 and never again until now with 9th anniversary bc they compared the data with WWC 2023 and 8th anniversary and resulted that the new format is way better. I think it’s the same here, they’re probably bring back the step-up banners in WWC or next anniversary, also global part 1 sold way more than JP part 1 thanks to that.

global getting "better treatment" does not equate to a better experience. i highly doubt most people even like summoning, let alone summoning for a character that is 6 months old, animations arent hype, the celebration content isnt hype, because we already knew what to expect. And as a gacha player, update hype is almost everything for a live service game. You always see JP players having the time of their lives and enjoying the game, despite "getting less than global", its like they are served gourmet food and global is stuck with the scraps basically. Truth trying to deny global players feedback and thoughts, esp about the celebration in general, means he only does it because he doesnt want to believe people actually feel the way they feel, because HE had a good time during the 9th anniversary.. and finds it hard to believe global players cant find joy in old, outdated content. the sync does and will make a huge difference for the entire community, no doubt about it

I am a glb player and it's way easier to say we get shafted bc of certain things. However, when reflecting most of it is very minor. We are blessed the sync could make us see that if they make glb the same as JP with no tickets/discount multis. Also, for the Taco Bell order add the street chalupa, that shit is godlike.

You can't generalise all Global players to be some hive mind which agrees on all decisions (when referring to some non sensible players thinking 3+1 and tickets were better than the new banner format). 2. Global and Japan aren't the same. It won't be the same before and after the sync. I don't know how you play the game for this long truth, but fail to see this. There can't be equal treatment if there isn't an even playing field. Same as the fact that the sync isn't really a sync, if we are missing multiple characters, events, etc even if we start getting the same schedule from a certain point onwards. That isn't a synchrony. Global has always had discounts, tickets, global firsts, pilaf packs etc. With the trade off being run with incompetence and a 6 month delay of content, (resulting in a lack of excitement and surprise for all content). 3. There have been way more "shafts" on Global then JP, it is a fact. Shaft is deferring from the consistencies of each separate version based on previous precdedents. If Global is known for a new banner format for part 1 anni, and the part 2 banner that we have all been waiting for changes the banner format which was available in part 1 banners, and also excludes the "global exclusive tickets" when the "sync" isn't even here yet, then yes that constitutes a shaft and pushback from the community. Not to mention around 650 stones and 1 million battlefield currency that global players missed out on, due to the simple fact of playing on the Global side. And historically it's not even close, the To be continued saga of Omega and SSJ4 Gogeta, etc. Most of Japan's "shafts" are from glitches or bugs, which they are corrected and compensated fairly. Global on the other hand has "shafts" on a purposely felt level, from mismangament and treated as the second version of an originally Japanese game. Truth you are too biased as you play the JP side of the game and aren't first hand experiencing global shafts. Too busy defending a billion dollar corporation instead of being a voice for the players of the game you love so much.

Why would there be global exclusives, pilaf packs, etc. If they wanted it to be the "same." If they wanted to they could easily have made both the games the same.

As a long time Global player, I think the crux of the issue isn't that the 9th Anni sucks, it's that everything else that happened before 9th on Global has been so dry/frustrating (other than Golden Week and Sayian Day) along with gripes about the handling of the sync that any minor inconvenience during the 9th is like the straw that broke the camels back basically
I've been playing since before the first anniversary, PHY Kid Buu was my first dokkan fest. The fact that people can complain about treatment is wild. We didn't even have garuntee SSR's on multis back then.

Global gets treated better? They have there things such as Line, units early, problems and units get fixed quicker. They have all their units in a concrete timeline, but global gets wonky such as Rose.

It flat out is, seeing as stones are the most valuable part of the game, and global gets FAR more of those because of the discounts they get constantly and consistantly. A lot of monthly DFE's will have discounts flat out, e.g. iirc str ss3 goku and int hiru had it, and they were worth it at the time as no.1 and 2 TUR's.

The whole Jp vs Global thing is stupid imo. They both have their pros and cons. While global is getting an overall better celebration, (tickets and discounts) they are getting all of the content much later than Jp (6 months for anniversary). Everyone knows the differences between the versions at this point. The reason people play Jp outside of japan in the first place is because they don't want to wait to see the new content. When switching from global to Jp for many years now people have known they'd be leaving behind the global exclusive discounts aswell as the tickets. People have made the conscious decision to leave this behind in favour of not getting the content late, clearly showing that they value it above all of the global exclusive content.
Also I think people really should stop the complaining and everything should be fine when the games sync. If global keeps the benefits even after the sync then that would be unfair to the jp players.

@kennyvincent7171 JP gets an additional 7 free stones a week, they get free stone events amounting to about 300 stones a year, they get unique interactive events that net free stones. Someone added all the free stones up to see the difference and over the last year alone, global is missing over 1,000 free stones. It averages around 1,200 missed stones a year. How is this being treated better? I would have to spend my own money to make up for the difference, and that'd be hundreds of dollars.

The game being 6 months behind is a big deal that they’re working on now and the tickets are just extra things since we are behind no they don’t fully make up for the delay but it’s something rather than nothing.

As someone who has been playing the game since the release of PHY Broly 70% lead as well and rerolled to get him to start global and has gone through the many ups and downs of this game, I’ve just accepted that people are going to complain whenever the game isn’t what they want or their summons don’t give them what they want. Seeing this whole debate about Global being dry, the banners being bad, the devs being scummy etc, honestly just shows me the entitlement that people have for this game. It is a gacha game, it is designed to make you want to spend money, you are not owed the character no matter how much money or stones you sink into a banner. Luck is luck plain and simple. I swear the newer player base is just so spoiled that it expects that they basically be given the new unit within a set amount of stones, it just shows me that if you would have started 7 years ago, most of you would have quit. That you could not have handled the days where it was better for you to do single summons rather than multis, you were not given a gssr, you were not given pity coins, you were not given free elder kais, free orbs, free zeni, meat for stamina, and everything was scarce. The content was so minuscule it wasn’t even funny. This is by far the best celebration we have had, we all knew it was coming 6 months ago, we all expected the 3 and 1 free format based off JP’s anniversary, not only did we get that but it was discounted and tickets. The only thing we didn’t foresee was literally the new banner format for part 1 which was clearly stated it was for part 1. Is it the Devs fault you blew your whole load on Gogeta and Broly? No. We all knew Beast was coming part 2, it’s nobody else’s fault except your own that you did not skip other banners prior to anniversary, that you had to have the shiny new toy from every banner that came out since saiyan day, DB Heroes banner, or even WW of last year, it’s also your own fault you did not limit how many stones you were willing to use on Gogeta and Broly banners, and then you want to come on here and go after Truth for speaking facts versus your opinions based off pure salt on either your summons results or even the fact he gets paid to bust his ass making content along with taking the ridicule he does? Nahhh, none of that sits right, take some accountability Global players and accept the fact you just have a gambling addictions instead of being able to control your impulse to summon. I can understand removing the guaranteed featured step ups, Akatsuki does run a business, not a charity.

They did not remove that bc it was too good, they removed it bc they want to test it to see how players will perceive it and comparing it with the part 2 sales probably to see how they can handle future big celebrations format, they’ve done that with Carnival x DFE format, we got it at WWC 2022 and never again until now with 9th anniversary bc they compared the data with WWC 2023 and 8th anniversary and resulted that the new format is way better.
I think it’s the same here, they’re probably bring back the step-up banners in WWC or next anniversary, also global part 1 sold way more than JP part 1 thanks to that.

global getting "better treatment" does not equate to a better experience. i highly doubt most people even like summoning, let alone summoning for a character that is 6 months old, animations arent hype, the celebration content isnt hype, because we already knew what to expect. And as a gacha player, update hype is almost everything for a live service game. You always see JP players having the time of their lives and enjoying the game, despite "getting less than global", its like they are served gourmet food and global is stuck with the scraps basically.
Truth trying to deny global players feedback and thoughts, esp about the celebration in general, means he only does it because he doesnt want to believe people actually feel the way they feel, because HE had a good time during the 9th anniversary.. and finds it hard to believe global players cant find joy in old, outdated content. the sync does and will make a huge difference for the entire community, no doubt about it

I am a glb player and it's way easier to say we get shafted bc of certain things. However, when reflecting most of it is very minor. We are blessed the sync could make us see that if they make glb the same as JP with no tickets/discount multis.
Also, for the Taco Bell order add the street chalupa, that shit is godlike.
1. You can't generalise all Global players to be some hive mind which agrees on all decisions (when referring to some non sensible players thinking 3+1 and tickets were better than the new banner format).
2. Global and Japan aren't the same. It won't be the same before and after the sync. I don't know how you play the game for this long truth, but fail to see this. There can't be equal treatment if there isn't an even playing field. Same as the fact that the sync isn't really a sync, if we are missing multiple characters, events, etc even if we start getting the same schedule from a certain point onwards. That isn't a synchrony.
Global has always had discounts, tickets, global firsts, pilaf packs etc. With the trade off being run with incompetence and a 6 month delay of content, (resulting in a lack of excitement and surprise for all content).
3. There have been way more "shafts" on Global then JP, it is a fact.
Shaft is deferring from the consistencies of each separate version based on previous precdedents. If Global is known for a new banner format for part 1 anni, and the part 2 banner that we have all been waiting for changes the banner format which was available in part 1 banners, and also excludes the "global exclusive tickets" when the "sync" isn't even here yet, then yes that constitutes a shaft and pushback from the community.
Not to mention around 650 stones and 1 million battlefield currency that global players missed out on, due to the simple fact of playing on the Global side.
And historically it's not even close, the To be continued saga of Omega and SSJ4 Gogeta, etc.
Most of Japan's "shafts" are from glitches or bugs, which they are corrected and compensated fairly. Global on the other hand has "shafts" on a purposely felt level, from mismangament and treated as the second version of an originally Japanese game.
Truth you are too biased as you play the JP side of the game and aren't first hand experiencing global shafts. Too busy defending a billion dollar corporation instead of being a voice for the players of the game you love so much.

It flat out is, seeing as stones are the most valuable part of the game, and global gets FAR more of those because of the discounts they get constantly and consistantly.
A lot of monthly DFE's will have discounts flat out, e.g. iirc str ss3 goku and int hiru had it, and they were worth it at the time as no.1 and 2 TUR's.

The whole Jp vs Global thing is stupid imo.
They both have their pros and cons.
While global is getting an overall better celebration, (tickets and discounts) they are getting all of the content much later than Jp (6 months for anniversary).
Everyone knows the differences between the versions at this point.
The reason people play Jp outside of japan in the first place is because they don't want to wait to see the new content.
When switching from global to Jp for many years now people have known they'd be leaving behind the global exclusive discounts aswell as the tickets.
People have made the conscious decision to leave this behind in favour of not getting the content late, clearly showing that they value it above all of the global exclusive content.
Also I think people really should stop the complaining and everything should be fine when the games sync. If global keeps the benefits even after the sync then that would be unfair to the jp players.

That’s the point, we are treated better. The sync literally solves that and we’ve literally been getting the better treatment the whole time or at least this year.
@kennyvincent7171 JP gets an additional 7 free stones a week, they get free stone events amounting to about 300 stones a year, they get unique interactive events that net free stones.
Someone added all the free stones up to see the difference and over the last year alone, global is missing over 1,000 free stones. It averages around 1,200 missed stones a year.
How is this being treated better? I would have to spend my own money to make up for the difference, and that'd be hundreds of dollars.

From the feedback I’ve seen global players really are the BIGGEST crybabies I’ve ever seen. Yes there are actual legitimate issues with the game in which yes it’s ok to be upset with but simply being treated better than our superior and wining cuz it wasn’t BETTER, just stop playing the game at that point. The game being 6 months behind is a big deal that they’re working on now and the tickets are just extra things since we are behind no they don’t fully make up for the delay but it’s something rather than nothing.
