I think the only thing that really is alarming is that the server allows minors while being nsfw. There should just be a separate server for adults only for any sort of content like that without playing around with that stuff in that environment. The bits about cartoon smut really feels out of place when put next to the things involving real people. I really couldn't care less what cartoon stuff someone is into and it distracts from all the things that actually are concerning. It's like talking about a suspected murderer and putting an emphasis on that he was really into violent video games for half the conversation. Why is that the focus for so much of the video? It kind of poisons the well for me that so much time is wasted on an agenda against edgy cartoon smut. It's completely incomparable to the things involving actual real living people who are underage. If it's just easier to do what you suggested, I think more people would flock to it. The problem is the moderation, that requires work...a lot more than most people are willing to put. I think if there is someone willing to do it, it should be up to the community at large to support these smaller sects (Dokkan -> Private Servers) through engagement and assisting in the general policing of threads.

I've been using the Entropy server for almost a year, and I’ve never interacted in the text chats. It's up to the people themselves, even if they are minors, not to get dragged into these situations. This is something the community is definitely gonna go back and forth on for the foreseeable future. My take is that as long as you’re not engaging in the community or any of its toxic behavior, then there isn’t anything inherently wrong with using the private server. Additionally, these servers had thousands of people. While a lot of the devs and members are horrible people and diddy defenders, there were also a ton of people who just wanted to talk about dokkan. It’s definitely a case by case basis on whether or not a person feels it’s ok to consume a creation or tool if the creators are bad people, but it’s not something that is automatically wrong. Honestly, it’s up to you on whether or not you feel comfortable using the private server. Tldr: Do not support or engage in the community, but I wouldn’t say it’s wrong for you to use the private server if you’re comfortable doing so.

Dam i only learned about this now, i used to play on entropy dokkan last year and enjoying it alot. Today i was just like "i wonder if entropy got any new big updates after i stopped playing" and dawg this is horrendous.
Im a bit confused because DaTruth HAS posted gameplay via private servers before characters have dropped, BUT its not him thats playing but rather somebody else. I remember he would ask the person playing to pick a certain orb path, activate this, activate that. If thats the case then sure Truth is telling the truth of NEVER using private servers, but rather someone else uses their server and Truth just records them. This is actually more believable considering Truth is terrible with technology lmao 🤣🤣 He's called himself out before on that so i believe it now

@@bubbatown7714 i guess that’s fair, but his content is unique enough and in mass amounts to it honestly not mattering. he’s built a large enough fan base for him to be able to drop a showcase a day later than a private server might yield and still have a good amount of views/comments since people still like to see his opinion.

side note I’m not a private server user I play regular dokkan, and I’ve hated private server users for a long time since their able to just use characters on release and not have to actually summon for them

This is something the community is definitely gonna go back and forth on for the foreseeable future. My take is that as long as you’re not engaging in the community or any of its toxic behavior, then there isn’t anything inherently wrong with using the private server. Additionally, these servers had thousands of people. While a lot of the devs and members are horrible people and diddy defenders, there were also a ton of people who just wanted to talk about dokkan. It’s definitely a case by case basis on whether or not a person feels it’s ok to consume a creation or tool if the creators are bad people, but it’s not something that is automatically wrong. Honestly, it’s up to you on whether or not you feel comfortable using the private server. Tldr: Do not support or engage in the community, but I wouldn’t say it’s wrong for you to use the private server if you’re comfortable doing so.
