The trick to make the chicken so succulent by marinating in baking soda and corn starch REALLY works. The chicken just melts in your mouth. I always do that now. I've saved several of your recipes and learnt do much. Will be making this very soon. Thank you so much. You have inspired me no end.
I sincerely love how versatile these recipes are. I made this today with pork chops instead of chicken breasts, and with garden fresh broccoli and green beans instead of peppers and celery because that's what I had on hand, and it was amazing. Recipes like these make cooking on a budget so much easier, and the versatility of being able to use whatever is in the fridge or garden and still get delicious results with every combination cuts down dramatically on food waste. 10/10 would recommend!!
Because I love my new wok so much, I bought a wok for my friend who had a birthday yesterday. I am giving it to her on Sunday. I’m sure she’ll love it as I do mine😍
Since I've been looking at Mandy's wok for years and learning her techniques, I retired my old wok and bought hers. Guys, this wok is perfect. It is a bit heavy, so you might need two hands for tossing and getting wok hei. A real plus is that it's carbon steel, so you can use steel tools with it. It also comes with a spatula - the same one you see her using. So easy to clean after using, it's almost like a non-stick pan. Strongly recommended.

Just tried this in my new wok and omitted the bell pepper but added 1/2 the celery when she said and a few more extra slices towards the end, right after adding the chicken. I can not tell you how delicious this is! The chicken breast is the best I’ve ever cooked (so tender and moist) and the sauce, Wow! Just delicious! Thank you so much. I can’t wait to try more of your recipes! Yum. This is truly better than take out! 🥰

I love this dish. I haven’t made it in a long time. Tonight, I made Buddha’s Delight in my Souped Up Recipes Wok! I got it when I came out. Never a problem. No sticking, simple cleaning, I love it! Maybe tomorrow I’ll make casher chicken!
Made today it's really nice and I don't even like celery. I used chicken thigh instead. I'm really impressed ,the toasted cashews added a nice touch to the recipe.

I cooked this for lunch today I followed all your technics which resulted in perfectly cooked juicy chicken and the texture of the vegetables were perfection. The only thing I found it a little bit to salty for me, I like savoury but l’m not a huge fan of to salty. Is a wok as effective on an electric coil stove? It’s flat, unlike a flame on a gas stove for example, which goes up the side of the wok.
