I love how when Death leaves he whistles his theme, but unlike before it’s no longer ominous, but more harmonious.

Technically all of them got there wish, Goldielocks has a Family, Kitty has friends she can trust, Puss learned he only needs one life, and Jack Technically has all of the magic in the world, he just can't use it since he's probably dead.

I don't even need to explain why death was just so amazing in this movie lol, but there was an interesting theory I heard awhile back that perrito was the embodiment of life.
All his lives flashed before his eyes…..till he got to the one worth fighting for.

So Death was after Puss who acted like he was an immortal hero!? I wonder what would happen if he lost all of his nine lives, but came back to life the tenth time. That's when Death has to step in and teach Puss the value of life.
It’s the fact cats have nine lives and puss didn’t value any of his lives. Death in general thinks 9 lives is absurd. The fact puss doesn’t value them is why death is after him

In 6:42 we all felt that pain.
Death was such a perfect villain in this film and I loved his portrayal. He pushed Puss to become a better person, to accept the one life he had left and to treasure it, to help him grow as a character. And once he realized he did come to value his one remaining life with full clarity, he accepted it and respected that the person he was after was no longer there. So well done, literally made this movie the best in the series with how well they did it.
Man i already told You this is the Best Dreamworks animation movie ever Made to a great sequel, the fight scenes, the story, the characthers , i gotta for me puss in boots 2: the last wish is the my favorite, my best and masterpiece and the animation is beautifull, the animation is caynna looks like into the spider verse and its soo soo amazing this canda animation.
No matter how I think about it, 3 of the 4 potential wish makers' TRUE wishes were something that the Wishing Star can never grant them. Puss's true wish wasn't to regain his 9 lives (and therefore his glory days) back. His true wish is to overcome his fear of inevitable death. Kitty's true wish wasn't to magically summon someone whom she can trust, for trust is something that has to be earned, and it can only be earned by overcoming challenges and crisis. And Goldi's true wish wasn't to regain her human family back. Her true wish was to truly reaffirm that the adoptive family can be true family.
Ironically, none of them knew what their true wishes were, until things really got bad.
Oh, and we don't know what Jack's true wish was. Sure, he said that he wanted all the magic in the world while taking away all other magic from everyone else, but we all know that that's a bottomless cup that he chose to fill. Him having all the magic won't do jack to make him truly happy. Remember, he had everything that anyone can wish for (money, status, loving family, etc), and none of that meant anything to him, and he went to search for more. And more and more, with never enough to satiate that hunger.

He was still holding back even after doing that. In Spanish near the end, it translates to "why did I play with my food?" This means the man has been holding back the entire fight and could've easily finished Puss off at any moment.
