Great video, many thanks. I am looking at the Pulsar for my next van, so this has given me lots of points to consider
Thank you for your comments, good look with the Pulsar, a great van
Catching up with all your France videos and was shocked to see you in hospital, but glad all is well and you are both safe back home.
Been enjoying your videos for a while and find them very informative as we have a pulsar on order. Take care. Di and Joe
You are back - hooray! So lovely to see and hear you both again - you just make me smile! Great video, I agree with everything you said, although with the 2nd electric step it would add on to the pay load and I am not sure I would want to lose that. I really, really want to get the swivel table like yours - just got to pluck up the courage to do it (not being very ‘au fait’ with diy). Thanks for your lovely cheeriness (if that’s even a word!) I shall look forward to your next videos and wish you safe and happy travels! 💕💕
Thank you Irene, always good to here from you, take care and stay safe 😁😁
Brilliant 👍
Great video guys, enjoyed your tips will do some in our new Pulsar. Enjoyed the good banter between you both ! Good luck in your travels to Andorra & thanks again.
Thanks Barry for your nice comments 😁
Welcome Back 👍 Excellent Video and keep up the good work Both 👏
Thank you John
We are new subscribers to your channel and are loving your easy style. Great content, esp as we placed an order for a Fiat based Pulsar at the show last week. We will be trading up from our VW T6.1 DSG and will only consider an auto box. The Pulsar looks such a great package in a small van.
One question: whereabouts do you guys live? My wife is a Blackburn lass, altho we are down in Cambridge, and she misses Northern humour!
Thank for the great comments Richard. We are originally from Manchester, then moved to the lakes and have recently moved to Leyland.
We had the VW T6 2017 and I loved it to drive, the best and quietest drive you will get, I used to get around 45 mpg.
The Fiat Pulsar is a different animal, it’s classed in the proper Motorhome group to me, average 27mpg most times and the feel is bigger. The best bits are the storage, shower and toilet.
You will love it! Best of luck with yours and thanks for watching our channel 😀
Thanks for the videos on the Pulsar - these are great and have helped up decide to take the plunge and swap our VW T6.1 for the Pulsar. Do you think you could do a video on storage and in particular what you store in each location. Would be very helpful to know where you place your cutlery etc given there is no draw for this and also where you store your hook up cable, chocks etc. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Darren, we will look at doing a video on storage for you in the near future. You won’t be disappointed with the Pulsar 😀
Great video, you always crack me up you two 😄got a few problems with my Pulsar so got to take it back to Wildax. Hope to get it all sorted in next couple of weeks ready for the Summer. Good idea about the shower head, think i will get one of those as I am usually out of water after 3 days. Agree with you about the flooring, I do a lot of hiking so i've taken the carpet out of mine as didn't want to ruin it getting in and out with muddy boots etc. But struggle to keep the floor clean even if you mop it. Hope you have a great time in Andorra 👍
Thanks Chris for great comments, hope you get your van sorted quickly. Thinking of getting a tent for the misses, she can sleep in that 🤣🤣🤣
Really interesting to hear your likes and dislikes. You have given us an idea for a video on Smirf 😃👍🏻 Looking forward to seeing your future tour in France 🚐 Trev n Sue
Thank you for your comments guys 😀
Hi guys, hope you are keeping well, you both seem cheerful enough as usual. Interesting video and good to hear your likes/dislikes. As you said, you'll never get a perfect van. I've always liked the size of the Pulsar but don't like the two sliding doors, I'd prefer the roof lights to have two-way fans fitted, and I'd prefer the window blinds inverted, so the privacy blind can be lifted enough for privacy but still let the light in. I've just heard from Highbridge Caravans in Dorset that the 5metre Fiat chassis has been discontinued in favour of a 5.4m length, so maybe we should expect a new Pulsar at some point. Couldn't see anything on the Wildax website about this though. Looking forward to following your journey to Spain. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe and keep up the good work. :)
Thank you Pedro, great points and comments, enjoy and stay safe 😀
Hi Pedro
Just thought I let you know as I spoke to Duncan (Owner)last week at the NEC Show
He said the reason for the 5m van being discontinued was that the Fiat/Citroen demand for this size van has fallen in the commercial side
So 5.4 metres size will start production for 2023
The window Blinds can be inverted when you order a pulsar as a request

@@markwood6324 Hi Mark, thanks for the info. Looking forward to seeing the new Pulsar. Cheers.
I was looking at getting the Hymer 314 but a 2018 one was £4,995 in 2019 and now they are asking £59,995 for a 2017 one in 2024. I can only get a 5.5m or less on our drive and am now thinking of the Pulsar. You have given me food for thought and will go and look at one now. The only major downside is making them into single beds.
Lots of useful information for anyone considering buying a new campervan. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Sylvia 😀
Great video. We have implemented several of your ideas - the swivel table, carpet tiles, and shower head. We are still considering how to have single beds, but are concerned about storing the extra cushions. The 2023 5.4m Pulsar will be in direct competition with the Auto Sleeper Symbol. It will be an interesting comparison. We favoured the smaller 5m Pulsar over the 5.4m Symbol.
Thanks for your comments, yes I prefer the smaller 5m van, we have decided to stay with our single bed layout and transport the cushions in the bathroom on long journeys, on short journeys they fit on the bench when made up. Hope the ideas you have implemented have improve your comfort in the Pulsar. Great to here from you David, good luck and stay safe 😀
Thank you for you incites on this van. We are leaning towards this as a day van. I agree re the floor level. In reply to your son with his VW, they look good, but where’s the loo and the tent in the roof is very cold in winter. And the price!! 😀
Thanks for watching, I agree with you 😀😁👍
Welcome back to both of you
Hope you enjoyed your cruise as well
Just watched your latest video and noticed you have taken off your headrests from the rear seats
Any reasons why ?
Regards mark
Hi Mark, thanks for your comments, only took the headrest off while we did the video 😁
Understandable with the camera angle 😀
You might need posh clothes if you were going to a wedding in Switzerland- like we are this summer!
Yes, we use the wardrobe for that, thanks for watching our channel
Hello, enjoyed your video, very handy for when I get mine in June. I contacted WildAx about the USB socket in the wardrobe, they replied "USB sockets are fitted in front step area (x2)"
Also I'm interested how the swivel table leg fits to the floor? I did watch your other video on it but you never showed how you fitted it.
Thanks
Hi, thanks for watching our channel. Yes there are two usb on the centre of the central step, but we also have one in the wardrobe at the back which is awkward to get to. I will try to do a short video of the table. 😀 good luck with your new Pulsar, you will love it 👍
Hi to you both again
Just wondering if you can give some details on the swivel table size and the leg support where you bought it from on eBay
We will be picking up our pulsar next month and will be using your tip for a swivel table set up
So need to get the dimensions right before I buy
Hope you can help
Regards
Mark
