🌹I am very new here, and I am loving your videos. I am old and going blind. I haven't left my house in years, and now this and other illnesses I can't. I just love your friendly way about you🌹Thank you for helping me feel a bit closer to the world👍
Loved everything in your haul from Atelier Brocante! Two of my favorite things in the shop were the chairs out front at the beginning, the wood cutting boards and the painting of Nantes. The wood tray you bought looks fab on the buffet. Thanks for elevating my coffee enjoyment this morning by bringing me along!
Oh I’m so glad you could join me! Yes weren’t those chairs outside fabulous if it didn’t rain so much here I would have really snatched those up too bad I couldn’t bring them back to LA because they would be perfect in that garden ha ha Ha!!
How wonderful to have a tour led by the owner! I saw a dozen things I’d love to purchase. The furniture pieces were stunning. Looking forward to your next video.
Yes he was so sweet I wasn’t even expecting him to give me a tour but he was so willing that I just kept following him around and everything he showed me was so fascinating can you imagine knowing everything about all those pieces what an interesting guy right!
Beth, I am so jealous, love the soup tureen. (for 5Euros!) And yes, the wooden hangers are better. I noticed your two side chair in the dinning room. Love, love, love.
This is the first time I have seen your utube videos in France. Just love everything …your home , your cooking, but especially your wonderful personality and lovely way of explaining everything…feel like we are with you right there in this charming village❤
Thank you for sharing! I love your tour. The fish steamer and fish plates would be perfect to serve my husband when I prepare peruvian ceviche....love the treasures mentioned!!! Viva la France!!
Oh yes that would be perfect for you! It’s funny to see what ends up in these Shops it really gives a sneak peak into how people live in the area the food they eat and the history they have made.
Wasn’t he the best he was the most charming little guy he knew everything about all those pieces and it was a history lesson and a shopping trip rolled into one ha ha ha so much fun so glad you enjoyed it too!
Great little peak at the antiques of France your right these vintage homeware shops are fantastic (everywhere not only in sunny France globally)I'm a huge fan of secondhand collectables, great tour
Gosh this was a fun journey in that shop, it is a shame about the painting it was gorgeous, that bedroom needed a painting sitting in the bed what a great sight to wake up to domage
Hi Beth. That store looked like so much fun and interesting. I loved all the unique things. You bought some cute things. Looking forward to your next videos.
Beth the best and easiest way to clean copper is sprinkle Regular table salt and sprinkle with Regular distilled vinegar, very inexpensive, and you just rub it and it turns bright copper color in seconds. Have a great time in France, I wish I was there❤️
Fantastic shop with amazing prices! So much fun for you and how lovely that the owner was happy to share his knowledge with you. I definitely would have scooped up the large cutting boards for only 20E - they are my weakness!!!
Ha ha ha oh I know soul Sister believe me I already have a collection of them stacked on top of my refrigerator there is now a rule at our house about no more cutting boards there are like puppies I see at the pound they are so hard to leave behind!
I knew I’d be interrupted a thousand times if I tried to watch yesterday, so I made myself wait until today. So glad I did - definitely worth the wait! I wanted to whip out my checkbook and ask how much for the whole shop?! Not that I could actually do that, of course! That’s an absolutely glorious place! I loved all your finds and can’t really choose a favorite. The prices are unbelievably low with fun service from the most charming owner. I almost called him a “host” as he was so welcoming to you and showed you all his treasures. I have a feeling you’ll be back there soon for the painting - if you haven’t already returned to snag it! Thanks so much for taking us along - this was so enjoyable! 🇫🇷⚜️🇫🇷
Man I loved this! My husband was in the room with me while I was watching u Beth and I didnt realize he was listening to you...so when the tour guide was talking about all the old war stuff/civilization things there, my husband says, "what a minute what she say?" He starts watching with me. HaaHaaaaa! Then once the "history lesson" stopped, haahaaa, he leaves and goes back to playing with our cats. This was so cool. I wish I could meet u and go to France with you. I think we would just really click. I dont say that alot about people. I really like your show, I connect with it and with France. Probably because I took French in both high school and college, and just fell in love with France's history and Paris...also when I was in 5th grade I did a huge book report on France, it was a really big deal. We had to prepare a month in advance. Our teacher would always say, "Im telling u ahead of time, so there's no reason for anyone to get any D's or F's!!!. Period!" Ooh she use to scare me...eech! Anyway...after doing that book report I was hooked ever since about France and Paris..just hooked! And still in love now. I love anything French, especially makeup and perfume. If I were there I would go to all the makeup stores and perfume stores. Ooh! Beth! You know where u should visit! That Lavender place, I know Im saying it wrong, but its a place in France where Lavender grows and you can make perfume and stuff..but there is a place in France where there is fields and fields of Lavender. Sorry this was so long, but its not like I can call u and say this, haaahaaa, it'll be a 3min. conversation instead of this paragraph right?!! Haaahaa! Take care girl! Keep em coming. These videos are sooo much fun! My mom would love those thrift shop stores..she's the queen of thrift shop/garage sales. Au Revoir Madame Bethie!💅💄👛🌹🌹🌹
Aw, this comment made me smile. I hope one day you can perhaps rent out Beth's little villa, or somewhere else lovely in France! It will be nice to think you get to live your dream a little bit! Sending you all the love and good wishes! ✨💛✨

Oh Beth! I love your videos. Your passion is contagious. May I ask where you bought your white cell phone holder you use while taping? Thanks for letting me know.
Love everything! So much fun to look through the Brocantes! I wanted to look at the Pinocchio doll in the glass case. So cute! Love wooden hangers and polishing silver! Thanks, Beth for taking us along with you!
Love this shop. I sure wouldn’t want the job of dusting all those glasses on the glass shelves! I guess occasionally they have to do that. Whew! Thanks for the tour and including us. ❤️
I get so excited to watch your videos in France!! I love all your videos but the French ones are especially great because it feels like I’m taking a little 30 min trip to France when I watch! Thanks for sharing.

Husbands do try... don't they!?! But YES! Your choice of hangers is infinitely BETTER! You have inherited an eye for just the right thing from your papa! What an awesome dad you have!
Ooh, what fun! A French flea market must be the bomb! Like you, I always go straight to the kitchenwares. LOVE those serving utensils that you found. Tres magnifique!
This was fun! The brocante proprietor was a hoot. Perhaps not time you would pan a bit more slowly? It's difficult to see things at a gallop. Thank you. Oops, merci.
What fun! Great finds too! It is so true to collect these special things along the way that make the house so welcoming. I laughed when I saw the hangers , my husband would have no problem with the plastic! Love the wood ones and when I can find them I’ve been switching them out. My favorite so far is one from an old hotel in ( the Shorham) Washington DC. Thank you for sharing , I so enjoyed it!
What an interesting shop. Yes, one would have to act with constraint while looking around there. I loved looking around. Thanks for this video I really enjoyed it.
Trinidad doesn't have such a lovely brocante. People here prefer brand new things devoid of soul 😅. Great video as always. Merci for showing us around 😍🌹

That scale reminds me of Publix. They have a scale in the lobby and my grandfather used to weigh us there as kids.
Aww so cute :)
I would use that little gold mirror as a tray on top of a table with candles and other shiny things 🥰
Great idea!! Love that!
