Im doing the vert code and its a very profesional program, its not just going to increase your vertical but all around athleticism ecspecially if your a basketball player its gonna take your game to the next level
I think that would be a sure great program!!! He trains nba athletes and I even saw some of his contents that shows he really examined each small details with some deep computations
You could review PJF program but when you buy it it has 12 phases and he doesn’t let you go ahead so you only see phase 1 for the first month then when your done it shows the 2nd phase
Nathan ur the GOAT!! U just bought programs with ur own money and do review for us, that's so helpful for some people who don't know which program is more worth buying it. Thank you so much!
Nathanael Morton one thing about Chris though is that he is one of those “strength” jumpers who has a really high standing vertical, but his approach jump is exactly the same height, maybe an inch or two more. Where I went wrong was not working on my approach jumps outside of the program, and I became one of those types of jumpers by doing The Flight System unfortunately. Trying to fight my way out of that.
@@charliebroussard8505 so is the flight system program not designed for approach jumps? Because for me i want to improve my approach vert rather than standing for Volleyball. Would you recommend this program for a Volleyball player?
Hey man! I have a Overtime Athletes program which also follows triphasic training and notice that next to the excersice it tells you how to focus the time in each excercise, for example if it is says Jump Squats |3|1|X| it would be 3 seconds of eccentric, 1 second of isometric and then explode the way up. That's the main difference of each phase. Keep up with the good work!
A have bought his body-weight program that is okay, but the flight system and speed system is the best. I did Elit Speed I could not really finish cause the lockdown..than I started athletic chalistenics that is okey, if you are a beginner(I mean if you are not able to do a good squat a pullup or push up you are a beginner). But I think you should start with Flight System BW version. Flight System is very good, simple and effective but that is only the program not as much educational as the normal programs, no video lessons. Important notes: e.g "5x10 squat (x/3/×)" means fast down/ 3 sec. hold/ fast up. Push-up 6/x/x means 6 sec. down/ no hold/ up... and so. And you will need some adjustable dumbell, or a pair of light dumbells and kettlebel. Ups! And a medball and rubber band.
Vert shock or overtime athletes or another one, my choice is always the best of the best.. That is you bro.. you are great and you are the best.. thanks for these helpfull videos☝️💪🙏👍👊
If any if these programs including yours were to be put on DVD with some of your own clients like a workout dvd you would probably sell quite a lot. Most people don't want to read they want to put a DVD in and follow along. If you make a DVD of your program I would buy it immediately fact
Hey Nate! I have a question about the training and muscles used for different types of jumpers. I feel like one foot jumpers don’t need much strength training and can increase their feet with ploys and stretches while 2 foot needs strength training. I also feel like one foot jumps tend to really more on calves than two foot jumpers. *Not saying I’m right* I just wanted to know if I’m right on these topics
Hi nice video, could you do : Vertcode ( by pjf performance ) Jump manual ( by Jacob hiller ) Air alert ( These are very outdated and dangerous but seems to work and they are free ) Jumpsoles
Hey Nathanael, im trying to lose weight and increase my vertical jump at the same time. I just wanted to know if I can run on my rest days? Can u make a schedule about losing weight and increasing vertical jump. take care
aye nathanael morton i havent done shit in 2 and a half months, i havent lifted or anything, and yesterday i squatted 165 lbs for 5 reps and 5 sets by i do the 5x5 program. 165lb squat is around 1.5 my body weight, i think i could probably lift 180lb for 1 rep but i never tested because i dont have access to weights or a gym (anymore) sadly, there is a rim at my park thats not 10ft and im around 5-7 inches away from touching it, do you think if i just jump every day for 1 month that i can reach it?
Actually the eccentric phase he put in the tempo for the reps like 4-3-1 down 3 paus3 up 1 like this. For the isometric itvwould be pausing 4 sec and concentric phase would be faster. Like this
To be honest I just joined ATG! Will do a review on it soon. Definitely one of the most knowledgeable guys I'be come across. Blows my mind sometimes with the things I learn from them.
Coach, I have been training plyometric for a few months now and I have seen some decent progress, I have got my standing vert up to 27.5 inches, but my approach jumps are all equal or worse than my standing jump, what should I focus on to increase my max vert in relation to my standing vert?
What's up man I have a 31" standing vert 5 11" 180lb age 34 never done plyos. I'm very fit and in good heath too. I'm thinking about trying your program but I just want to know if I do it will there be a possibility of me gaining a 40" vert and how long would it take to achieve that saying I put in the work?
Hey I took a break from my vertical due to football and other things I was able to grab rim with two hands now can only get my finger tips over it a little bit how could I get it back and how long will it take?
Hey I'm starting your bodyweight program to try to add the few extra inches I need to dunk. I'm already a good jumper (my vert's about 36"), and I often hear that it's best to work out 3x a week, with a rest day in between. However, your program calls for 2x a week. Would performing it 3x per week offer any gains, or should I stick to the 2x a week?
the 4/x/x beside the reps means eccentric/iso/concentric. which means you’re going to do 4secs eccentric, bro. but nonetheless, nice job of reviewing. I got pretty good gains from this program.
Vince Pineda Love this thank you so much for the clarity! I plan on really dissecting the program but that makes complete sense now. Going to eventually do a video saying which program is the best overall.
He made a new program called built 2 ball, kinda like a part 2 of the flight system. Tfs was focused on just the vertical, but this b2b is more for the complete basketball player. Can you review that one next?

just got your free bodyweight jump program. how many rounds of the workout are supposed to be doing each day? and its twice a week for every week right?
The sets and reps are listed there for you, so if it says 2 sets you do that exercises twice for the listed number of reps, and rest 60-90 seconds in between! If you need to follow along to see what I mean here's the first workout that you can follow along with: bit.ly/2CSDqH1 And if you're a beginner, twice per week. If you're intermediate or advanced, do the workouts Monday Wednesday Friday UNLESS you feel very sore, then take the middle session off. Constantly listen to your body and be smart about doing that middle session or using it for extra recovery.
Hey Nathanael, planning on buying your program soon.
