The thing about the famous "hallway fight scene" is that it's done all in one take. That's one of the things that makes this series so amazing - the iconic hallway scenes!
There are cuts, but they're fairly well hidden.

@Redsiren This one pales in comparison to the prison scene in season 3. It's very intense.
I think one of the most impressive things about the end hallway fight scene is that happened after Claire pulled him out the dumpster and patched him up. Goes to the Murdock family motto: "It ain't how you hit the mat, it's how you get back up." And.."We"re Murdocks. We get hit a lot. But we get up. We always get up."

I feel like everything isn’t meant to go on forever, Sometimes it’s best to let experiences be brief and special. If the show went on for 10 seasons it wouldn’t be special anymore by season 10.
We would be like: “he’s blind, big whoop!”🙄
@@BlackFlightNY well, the last episode has a GREAT setup for another so it wouldn't have to be repeating or boring.. there's still a lot of plot from comics they could make into the series

Regarding his injuries, all Matt has to do is say he got mugged.
FUN FACT: The Toxic chemicals that burned Matt and made him go blind as a child, when it spilled, a lot of it went down into the sewers. It actually infected 4 turtles and a rat. The turtles mutated and grew into teenage ninjas. This is not a joke.

The hallway fight is fantastic but what always gets me is the end of the episode. The way Matt reassures that kid when he rescues him and then carries him out of there in his arms puts tears in my eyes. He even makes sure to lift up his mask before he goes in the room so he doesn’t scare the kid. Charlie Cox is a treasure.
Even in a mask is he goes to the hospital on the same night with the same wounds and they are looking for him they can find him.
Cant believe yall r finally watching one of my all time fav comic book adaptations. Yall r gonna love this show
Interesting trivia - the man Matt's dad KOs in that last fight is Crusher Creel - who becomes Absorbing Man in the comics, a Thor villain.
Carl "Crusher" Creel was actually a recurring character on Agents of Shield, which may or may not be in the same continuity as the Marvel Netflix shows. He's definitely a fighter there, too.
oh in the first episode, so he's blind but with super hearing ... at the very end we can overhear the boy in the distance but faintly, I think it's supposed to very hard to hear but he can hear it of course ... we the audience are supposed to pay attention so that maybe we can hear it too ... except with subtitles turned on we can read too much and we miss out on the potential ambiguity of the distant cries for help. So the subtitles should use words something like "faintly..." and "almost inaudible distant cries for help..." et cetera you know to give a better impression of what the scene is trying to imply. I notice these things how well they craft the show.
"It's the Catholicism" lol ... Oh and if you missed a part of that fight scene you can always rewind it back ... lol winky face. This is a famous fight scene. In film making you want to choreograph fight sequences to make them really good and so you might wonder how much time and effort went into this sequence.
In the comics, the boxer that Matt's dad beats in the ring, Crusher Creel, becomes a Super Villain called The Absorbing Man.
In the MCU he appears as a secondary villain turned hero turned confused villain in 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

So yeah the guys that killed matt's dad worked for the mafia. In the boxing world what can happen is that you get a seasoned fighter who gets a following and is real good. What the mob would do is pay that guy not to go for the title and take a dive for the fighters they support and be like a stepping stone to the title. Thats what happened to jack murdock. Its not that matt convinced him its that he realized he wanted to do something his son would be proud of
That boy heard all of that fight happen.
Matt pulled his mask up before going into the room the boy was in; he saw that Matt was blind.
Matt came back out with it down, and the kid then saw the aftermath of the fight he heard. A fight won by one blind man.

What? I have also read the books and I think the third season is the best one. It even improves Red Dragon.
@@JRF1004 It's their adaptation of the third book before the events of the first book and without Clarice that bothers me the most. However, I also have a problem with Will Graham filling in for Paul Krendler during one particular scene without bearing any scars and I also have a problem with the Freddie Lounds/Dr. Chilton switcheroo.

1. The show doesn't have the rights to Silence Of The Lambs which means they can't use Clarice Starling, they did the best with what they had.
2. The show isn't even a direct adaptation, it doesn't have the same story or even themes as the books or movies. The show is its own story, they can do whatever they want with it.
3. Paul Krendler being in the show doesn't make any sense
4. Did you really want to see a sassy redhead reporter girl getting her lips bitten off and burned to a crisp?
