I can't thank you enough for this video. I am a senior and with your video, I was able to clean my screen door with little effort. You saved me a lot of money. Keep up the great work that you are doing with your DYI videos.

My screws were located at the top in the side track. I love your video. Saved me from buying new wheels.

We recently started renting a house, and some repairs were needed. I was skeptical about trying to fix our sliding screen door, but this video helped a lot and made it seem less daunting. Thanks for the video!

Good video. The NPR shirt was a nice touch, as well.

*Internal thought process* “I’ll watch this video first because the dude is wearing an NPR shirt. It should be informative and concise.”
    Thanks, man! 😁

Thanks - I needed that! Now I just need to know what/how to replace the thin strip of weather stripping down the side - I bought what I thought I needed but I thought it would be self-adhesive.

This was so helpful. Just bought a house and our screen doors keep falling off the tracks 😂 now I don’t have to call someone every time it happens

I have found that using pure carnauba wax on the door frame and the wheels to work very well. The carnauba gives a very nice looking protective and slippery finish to the tracks and the wheels spin freely. The wax lasts a long time and the wax doesn't attract any sort of contaminants. Make cleaning a breeze too

+Donna thanks, I'll have to give that a try. What brand of wax do you use?

there are also spray wax at the automotive stores.. spray lubricants trap dirt in your tracks

My screws seem to be stripped. They won't tighten so it won't stay in place. Any suggestions?

      Hi home repair
I took off sliding screen door to fit new screen
When I put the screen door back on I found that the door won’t fully close by about 1 inch ...what could be the problem?

Mine doesn't have the panel at the top. I cracked the old plastic wheel trying to lever it back on. Oh well. New screen coming up.

It's funny how he assumes every screen door is like his!! LOL. No "IF you happen to have these adjustment screws do this or that..." He goes straight to talking bout it like every door has'em. That's hilarious!!
