The thing about bees is,,, not all bees are the same, with regards to winter stores. Some say 20 lbs of honey some say 100 lbs. And everything in between. And, they are all right depending on your bees. How big the winter cluster is and efficiently of your local stock of bees. Dont bring your Florida bees to Canada or Canadian bees to south Texas. They are not the same bees.
AND THE SEVERITY OF THE WINTER, CURRENTLY ON JAN 03 24 IN THE 40'SWITH BEES FLYING ON SUNNY DAYS TO MY REMOTE SUGAR FEEDER. HOPEFULLY IT WILL GET COLDER TO KEEP THEM IN CLUSTER AND CONSUME LESS STORES.
