looks like he put the holo's in the top loaders WITHOUT sleeves, big big no no for scratching the foils, but if they werent shook too much, the surface might not have gotten too dinged up. I would grade most if not all the holo's, even if the big ones only come back PSA 6-7, still looking at considerably more than a "played" condintioned raw card.
Definitely want to see the cards appraised. I'm so happy for you guys! You are such a wholesome and wonderful family. You actually give me hope for the future( I know that's sappy, but I really mean it.)
I saw a video were a guy's grandfather left him a storage unit. Was told that there was something of value left for him. He found a bag in the corner and it had his grandfather's Bible in it. He started to flip through the bible, you won't believe what he found. Every single page had a 100 bill in it. Totalled $10,000
What I imagine happening: grandson sighs and thinks about his religious grandfather leaving him with the "valuable" word of God, and never opening the Bible. Thereby missing out on the cash. Maybe he even placated Gramps saying he would keep up with his Bible study, but not meaning it. Then years later he sees your videos and hears you can find money in Bibles...
This storage unit is AMAZING! What do you think that collection will be worth!? If you did not see the first amazing part of this storage unit, check it out here: ua-cam.com/video/iskWvrxtMNw/v-deo.html
We wanna see what the collection brought. I bought my nephew every single Pokémon card back in the 90s. He had them in 3-3” binders Unfortunately someone stole all 3 binders when he had a party at his apt. I know his collection had to be worth tens of thousands. When it came to collecting, I would drive all over Jacksonville, Florida just to make sure he had everything Pokémon. Great find. So happy for y’all!!
for nerf guns check for the red nerf "recon" which totally complete can sell for up to $200 complete and the red nerf longshot which can go for $300 minimum even with none of its attachments. the vintage nerf 1995 crossbow can also go for around $200
I'm so jealous! I just restarted collecting after a "friend " stole mine when I was younger such a great find ! Make sure to take your time in researching each card !
Of course id love to see a video of you getting the cards appraised! Definitely! The worst part about that is the waiting. Waiting for the appraisal. Cuz you know its gonna take awhile!! Lol. Also finding someone you trust!
The wooden slider with the jar on top was something kids made in wood work at school, my daughter made something similar. It’s a sweet dispenser. Put your sweets in the jar and slide the slider to dispense a sweet.
YAY, what fun! Im over 50 and I love Pokemon. They were part of my childrens youth. I still have their cards. Looking forward to seeing the collection closer! Good luck 🌻
38:40 The higher the HP, the easier it is to win the game. Everyone wanted the Charzard in the 90's because it was difficult to find and almost guaranteed a win in the game.
Yes!!! Absolutely want to see a Pokemon video about the gradings. My boys have a ton of cards in the attic from late 90's early 2000's. Would b interesting 😁👍🏴
This storage unit looks very like the one my ex allowed to get repossessed when we divorced in 2002, but that was in PA. We had those very same coffee tables, there were his computers stored in there, and thousands of dollars worth of collectibles, mostly Hot Wheels, though. I'm glad I took my stuff with me and it was all his personal items and general household items, but this unit is so familiar. I did lose a few antique blanket chests, but otherwise, I had had the concern that if I didn't take "my" personal and sentimental stuff with me (though we agreed to share the unit until we had places for all the stuff) I'd never see it again... was a good instinct on my part.
@@Sirtimsmokesalot You mean the one who skipped out on the bill and let it get confiscated? Yep, that would be correct. Thre were other financial agreements involved. Paying for the storage unit was what he committed to... and flaked on.
Arrrgggh! This is the second video I've spent the whole time going What the Heck is under that towel on top of the fridge. Lol y'all will catch me on the next one. Good show!
I have to compliment y'all & say "Wow! Y'all r awesome for allowing the ppl to have their personal things back. Things that can not be replaced. Gives me hope that there r still ppl that actually have a heart, r caring, have compassion for others, not knowing what they might possibly b going through/have gone through n their lives". My mother lost her storage unit one time bc she was too proud to ask my sister & I for help & lost her big steam trunk that her mother gave her when she was little. Didn't have any value, probably, but it meant the world to my mom having lost her mother @ a young age. I tried to buy the unit back @ auction, tried to buy it for double what they person bought it for & they weren't havin it. So I just wanted to say u 2 r awesome & Thank u🫶♥️🫶♥️🫶♥️🫶
P S love that you guys return personal items and photos. Your right Jebus you cant replace all those memories in those photos and keepsakes. Good man for realizing that.
In 1999 I sold a set of Pokemon Cards for about 100 dollars. I took them 3000 miles to Salt Lake City, Utah because they were the only store buying them. I think back on how valuable they are now, but at the time we needed the money. Oh Well! Love your storage units. Also, love your enthusiasm and positive thinking. Good Luck, take care.
@@spcrec88 Forgot to say I was on a trip to see my brother and stopped off in Salt Lake. I knew the place because I lived there for 10 years. At the time I thought it was a lot of money but, looking back I wish I had kept the cards until now.
This is such a trip down nostalgia lane. Its crazy seeing items similar or exactly like you had from your childhood but you lived completely different lives but had similar interests of the era. Kids nowadays have no idea of the random knick knack stuff from back then like the coin map, etc. Loved this brother. Will definitely be back!
This storage unit is the best! You are so amazing for trying to give back all personal items. The one I lost about 25 years ago had items that were my grandparents from the late 1800’s. So many memories with the sports memorabilia. Can’t wait for the Whatnot auction on Tuesday
This has definitely been an incredible unit. 😮 The pokemon cards are 🔥. I watched auctions, and with the right crowd, they can go for hundreds of dollars. I love all your videos they are very entertaining 😊. And I love when Jebus giggles it's adorable. I'm happy that you are both doing so well. Love to baby Broly. 😊❤😊
My son is your age and was into pokermon and he's always in my house pulling things apart looking for his collection I still live in the house he grew up in I havnt the heart to tell him I think I threw them away when he got married and moved out.who knows maybe we could've been rich lol.great video guys❤
In case you were still wondering. Charizard is so popular, and thus, worth more money, because in the base set. It was so much stronger than anything else. 100 damage and 120 hp destroyed everything else. He was the first big card you could get and the fame just translated to every new set. Crazy how things work out!
Oh, that’s so nostalgic seeing Yahtzee and also I took tae kwon do until I realized that you had to do your push-ups on your knuckles. I couldn’t do it no more. Love you are so sweet for giving people their stuff back. You guys are the best !
This storage unit is the best! So great!👍 Yes please to appraisial/value video of items for sure👍👍Thank u for sharing Steve&Amber. I’ve found hats before& I sold them for $5 up to some where $50(I had to search but it was worth it). Also still have alot of Thomas the tank trains diecast vintage which I’m currently sorting&searching though.
I had a massive Pokémon card collection as a kid. Collected from 1998-2007 roughly. The entire collection was destoryed in a flood. RIP. It hurts my soul even more now knowing that that huge collection of mine would've easily been worth 10k+. As a kid I thought the pain from that loss would go away 😭
Morning I was thinking, how the heck did I miss this video. I'm so glad you came on after I watched another video. This storage is the best. Fantastic Treasure's found.😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
When you dropped the IBM laptop, I instantly thought of a guy I knew who used to work in the plant, when they made them here in NC. His job was to hold them 6' in the air and drop them, then make sure everything still worked, these aren't the laptops you would buy at the store. There is probably a geek or 2 who would love to buy them.
It's pretty cool seeing a unit with local stuff in it. Whoever had that unit is from the Saint Louis area. That K-She 95 bumper sticker really gives it away. Along with the Cardinals and Rams memorabilia.

if you want to sell them as is tho, know plenty of people that would pay cash n buy most if not all of them
That wood thing with the mason jar is some kind of candy dispenser
It's a British cartoon kids show it's called Thomas the Tank Engine
Can you please stop doing half video's of lockers or aleast put part1 part 2 so easier to find
100% want to see a video or a series of videos of getting the collection vauled!!

Yep, the court jar on the wood with the handle is a candy dispenser.

What's the condition on the two Charizard cards
You go to fast through stuff! It’s hard to see from the tv
The glass jar with the wooden thing sliding back and forth is a candy dispenser. For bubblegum or Skittles
We had something very similar in my house growing up that usually contain M&Ms
It started with the jars for peanuts and then was repurposed for candy at a later period.
Or peanuts
or raisines
I had one that was a peanut dispenser
