A card valued at $3 doesn't mean $3 will go to your pocket. You have to factor in additional costs, often eBay seller fees approx 10% and 35p per item plus cost of postage and packaging too. So there is no profit when this is factored in
I really love this set! trully underrated, with this price, opening it will likely be profit. I like that you are venturing into japanese! we need more japanese content from you from time to time.
Great video btw, and you should include the value of holo and reverse holo next time since those are sought after especially for those who are completing the set.

With my pack luck, my worry would be getting only “error” boxes with no secret rares.

Breaking even when you open a booster box is impressive actually. Especially for a set that’s been out for this long.
Opened one box of shiny ex in japan and got the charizard SAR first pack. It was only my second day there lol. Card will stay with me for ever what an amazing memory
In the second box, first pack, was the Arven shiny? Around $8/9 if it was.
I like this set better than shining fates, pulled that bubble mew, super cool card!

I was thinking the same thing PokeJace. I just got 5 boxes to open. But where are you able to get them for 25 a pop? Hook a brother up with some packs n a good vendor that hooks up boxes at 25$ a pop 😊
P.s. What site do you use to look up your prices? It looks way better then tcg n the others I've been using

you most certainly did not break even or make profit, so why miss inform people and give people prices from america when you’re an english streamer? why not take actual prices from the current market? here are your ‘hits’ taken from UK cardmarket lows (when possible) or cheapest european listings plus postage (which is roughly what you’d be able to sell for)

as someone with 11,000 subscribers, i think you should be taking better care and not making people think they can ‘make profit’ from pokemon boxes and then not even give prices from the correct market
I use the US market as 80% of my audience is from US. If I used GBP for pricing I would use Ebay sold listing's. The prices you have put are very low for example nobody is selling an EX for £0.02 when they are selling for at least £1 or more on Ebay.
Prices will always vary on different places and times. At the recording of the video, the card prices where correct for the US market from sales data.
‘nobody is selling an EX for £0.02’ riccardodamian from the UK currently has one listed for £0.02 at the time of writing this and there’s another 2 sellers from the UK with the same card for under 10p, you’ve titled a video TRY THIS, like you’re giving financial advice, like opening pokemon packs is profitable, the set has tanked in price for sealed boxes and the singles have followed, you give financial advice on sealed stuff which is fair enough, you can’t go wrong, buy english booster boxes, put them away for 3-5 years make money, fair enough, but then as someone who is giving financial advice trying to help people then in turn, you create a video titled TRY THIS, make money from opening boxes, just no, it’s straight up gambling, if people want to open packs for fun, adrenaline, or collecting then fair enough, it is a hobby at the end of the day, but as someone who basis their videos around trying to help people make money, opening boxes to do so is not the way forward & as someone with a lot of followers looking at you for guidance this is what you should be helping them with real data, real market prices, rather than an EX having 1 sale for £1 in over a month & basing your ‘data’ of this
