My 2 favorite Chanel Lex Eaux fragrances and the only two I own. I don’t have the lotion for Paris Paris…only the fragrance. However, I have both the lotion and fragrance for the Riviera. Love them both.

This is my absolute fragrance favourite! The sticker is surprisingly robust… it has never peeled in my experience. A massive thankyou for the heads up- just ordered some backups! I wish the lid could come off, I would clean and use the empties … it’s such a lovely bottle. ❤️
I love the bottles too Jane 🥰 but I think Chanel might be redesigning the stoppers and lids and thats why they are maybe for now discontinuing the shower gels. But no official announcement has been made yet,..
The star could also be a very pretty ornament on your Christmas tree.

When I tested new Paris Paris recently I sensed the rose had been dialled back ever so slightly? Still gorgeous though, Olivier has been on a roll since Le Lion.
To me it smells as though they had dialed back a bit of the oils or concentrates that cost more… still smells great though, especially after its been put for a while and after it has breathed a bit of oxygen.
100%, I’ve noticed patchouli heavy fragrances are usually the ones which mature most beautifully
I love Paris-Paris so so much. It is my favorite of the Les Eaux line. Lately I’ve been loving Paris-Paris layered over Allure. I spray Allure and wait for about 10-20 minutes and then spray Paris-Paris. It lasts all day long and I get whiffs here and there as I move about. I also like Chance Eau Tendre sprayed over Allure. Allure does not thrill me on its own so much, although it is nice, and Paris-Paris and Chance Eau Tendre do not last long. They are longer lasting and so much better together for me! I love love love this little discovery. Perfection! I’d love to see you try it and see how it is for you, if you are inclined!
Sounds like a great layering experience. On my Paris Paris lasts a very long time and I am very happy it does. I layered with No5 and its amazing but it is also great layered with Comete. 😍😍😍💖
@@essence-tiallydacob9611 I’ve tried it with Chanel No. 5 and it was nice. Everything is better with Chanel No, 5 though. I will definitely try it with Comète. Funny I had thought that might be good pairing.
Je viens de me procurer la nouvelle version de l’eau de parfum Cristalle, et je retrouve parfaitement l’identité de l’eau de toilette sortie en 1974. Cette reformulation est vraiment réussie. Vos vidéos sont toujours un enchantement.

For the Les Eaux lotions I almost prefer Biarritz lotion to the perfume, it’s so good especially in summer！

Hi Dacob!I was told by a Chanel SA that the shower gels were discontinued due to a specific ingredient but it is being reformulated.
Thank you for the intel 💖🥰 I also heard they might be changing the bottle designs because many people did not know how to open the turn stoppers and broke them…
You can add necklaces end ring to the star and it will sit better as a necklace

Lotions are a hit or miss for me as well. My nose seems to be more forgiving to the scents in perfumes than to scents in lotions. Haha

So sad these companies keep pinching pennies while raising prices. You really have to stock up on the first batch before the dilution starts.

At the moment I’m love with Chance eau Tendre Edt. Have you heard that here in Italy a famous politician has been involved in a very cringe case, he was accused of stealing a bottle of Chance at the Milan airport perfume shop ! 😅the whole story is actually pretty hilarious
It seems as though the perfume needed some oxygen and needed to marinate a bit. Its better now but it is still not as intense as my first batch from the initial release from a few years ago.
I did not hear about the politician who was caught stealing a Chanel perfume bottle at the airport. Lol. They not paid enough to be able to afford their own bottle?

What’s the prices?
$94 for the body wash in australia it’s very expensive and seem to be going up in small increments
$162 for small perfume 50 ml
$234 for large size 125 ml

Dacob - perhaps try making a 'rubbing' of your comet bookmark - like a traditional brass rubbing. Just a thought.
I tried Paris Paris last spring and I was disappointed by the opening. Damask Rose was a little weak and the drydown smelled heavy patchouli on my skin. I returned it.
Thats the thing… the first release from a few years ago, had a wonderful rose which lasted for a longer time throughout the lifespan of the fragrance on my skin. The current batch I unboxed in this video has a weaker rose in my opinion. But as the perfume breathes and as it gets more oxygen in the bottle as I use it, it does get a bit more intense… but the patchouli does box its way over the rose a bit too much in my opinion. But that might change with time, as it marinates a bit more.
I find it very difficult to wear fragrances other than from Chanel - there is just something about them that is so unique and gorgeous. Saying that however- I sadly miss all of the beautiful atomisers , sizes and versions you could find on a Chanel counter many years ago. There were so many products , you could really 'layer' your fragrance. Everything felt so special. I will always use Chanel but I am starting to feel a little cheated and 'short-changed' by them. They seem to be taking so much away and leaving us with so little yet charging more and more. Take my beloved Chanel No.19 - the last perfume created by Chanel before her death, 3 versions only available now, you have even taken away from me the remaining shower gel and body lotion. Apologies for my rant Dacob but come on Chanel- we deserve more.
I completely agree with you. They have streamlined their profits to a scary level of precision. Ruthless really. The moment a product does not perform as expected, they give it the chopper allegedly. Its sad for a customer like me to experience this… constant cutting corners on assortment and variety but constant raising prices… its quite vulgar and the opposite of luxury really in my opinion.

My favorite is Venise from that line. ❤❤ Wugo Wugo 💃🏻💃🏻 but the odd is it doesn’t seem to last on my skin but the Paris Paris one last all day on me. Interesting 🤔
Of the first three les eaux released, Paris Deauville is the most lasting to me. Venise is more short lived on my skin as well.

Dacob, you could squirt all the shower jell into another container to keep in your shower.
That kills the magic for me of actually using the bottle that was made for it.

I should check my Jo Malone body & hand wash gel moussant.. the good news is it has a pump bottle. But my hair conditioner (Jo Malone lime basil mandarin) has a kind of press cap.. could be a little bit messy sometimes. Both have glossy paper stickers which maybe waterproof.
I didn't knew Chanel's is Hair Body wash, it's really fine. I'm already happy with my Body and Hand wash. I think if I have Hair - Body - Hand wash cleanser in one I would be happier 😇

Imagine Chanel releasing a fragrance called Paris Paris and having it be watered down. I know the Les eaux line is one of the “cheaper” Chanel fragrance lines but cmon Chanel do better
Now that the perfume has had some time to breathe, it does smell somewhat more intense. But in my opinion it is still not the same rose intensity as the first release from a few years ago.

Although there is a shower gel I loved but cannot find it any ore because I think they discontinued it… it was called method man and it was in the bergamot lime smell. Divine and reminded me of Pour Monsieur Chanel shower gel, which has also been discontinued years ago. Alas…

But then a big part of the magic is gone for me because I love using the original bottle to shower each time.
