@@alicecolor1244 I have Asperger’s / ASD - it makes you incredibly sensitive to stimulus and you are constantly in awe of your surroundings. Nature is simultaneously calming and endlessly fascinating with its vast openness and intricate details. The lack of human noise in the countryside is the best part, as they can be shocking/irritating to the point of traumatic. Having ASD can be very overwhelming if you live in the big city, which is why many move to a rural setting with lots of nature. People often think of (especially women with) these reactions as child-like and endearing and we often have to be told “come on it’s time to stop now, time to get back to real life, it’s time to eat something” etc because you get so wrapped up in the fondness for the little things / sensations and you could just go on and on until you drop of exhaustion. Obviously I don’t think Jonna has been diagnosed because she was born before 2013 when the diagnostics were finally made more appropriate for girls - but I so identify with a lot of what she says in many of her videos and it sounds to me like Asperger’s. 🌀💙

The silence of snow is incredible especially while it's actually snowing... snow became rare in my area in Germany since the winters are getting warmer and warmer each year 😔 I wish you so much that you'll feel and see that special moment one day!
The feeling is cold.... but the magic is in the looks and the sound, and the smell. Light reflects in the snow-cristals and it creates the fluffy, round, elegant, soft look. When there is a lot of fresh snow outside, all sounds are muffled, you start to hear the silence and it rings so loudly and is so lovely, when walking on snow with freezing temperatures, snow squeezes around your foots or crumbles softly. It's so satisfying. With strong cold the air is fresh, awakening as if you were extra aware, extra alive. The sunniest winter days are usually also the coldest ones and if there is a fresh snow and the sunny, super cold weather comes - it's just a pure magic! Feeling of snow is in my opinion the least attractive of it all, unless you enjoy the softness of the snow cover so you can fall on it softly, do eagle shapes or throw snow-balls at someone ;). You can hate winter, cold and the hardship of it, but when the day comes when you have the perfect combination of the fresh, thick snow and the very low temperatures (at best below -10) then your soul starts to sing from happiness. Even winter haters cannot resist and look in ave. The real winter is amazing. The normal winter in central Europe isn't as pretty for the most time thou, so Jonna is happy to live in such beautiful place and to experience the best of the winter for so long.

I am just happy that someone can see and appreciate such things that are mostly every day things for the people who live here in the north. And the way you describe everything and combine words and nature with its own music. Absolutely beautiful, made me almost tear up for happiness and joy. I think I am going to go walk our dog to the snowy woods now.
I live in Upstate NY and just stumbled upon Jonna's channel the other day. The days are getting noticeably shorter here. I am so grateful that I found Jonna's channel. It makes me look forward to the inevitable oncoming Winter. It encourages me to get some warm clothing and get outside this Winter.

The silence of snow is incredible especially while it's actually snowing... snow became rare in my area in Germany since the winters are getting warmer and warmer each year 😔 I wish you so much that you'll feel and see that special moment one day!
The feeling is cold.... but the magic is in the looks and the sound, and the smell. Light reflects in the snow-cristals and it creates the fluffy, round, elegant, soft look. When there is a lot of fresh snow outside, all sounds are muffled, you start to hear the silence and it rings so loudly and is so lovely, when walking on snow with freezing temperatures, snow squeezes around your foots or crumbles softly. It's so satisfying. With strong cold the air is fresh, awakening as if you were extra aware, extra alive. The sunniest winter days are usually also the coldest ones and if there is a fresh snow and the sunny, super cold weather comes - it's just a pure magic!
Feeling of snow is in my opinion the least attractive of it all, unless you enjoy the softness of the snow cover so you can fall on it softly, do eagle shapes or throw snow-balls at someone ;).
You can hate winter, cold and the hardship of it, but when the day comes when you have the perfect combination of the fresh, thick snow and the very low temperatures (at best below -10) then your soul starts to sing from happiness. Even winter haters cannot resist and look in ave. The real winter is amazing. The normal winter in central Europe isn't as pretty for the most time thou, so Jonna is happy to live in such beautiful place and to experience the best of the winter for so long.
