    Thank you for your videos. You’ve really described and demonstrated the efforts to care for a Samoyed breed. I want a Samoyed in the future and these videos are really helpful ❤

      Snowbear is certainly a big boy! We hope Olaf can eventually reach that weight, but his digestive issues keep holding him back. We're glad you enjoy our content! If there is anything we haven't discussed yet that you'd like us to cover, feel free to let us know.

      @@theoandolaf HI Irene, please look at Fresh Green Tripe for Dogs, i has sorted out ALL of Snowbears digestive issues, yes it smells, but it is very very good for their gut flora, absolutely everything, I serve it to Snowbear twice or three times a week, most very good pet stores who sell raw meat will have Fresh Green Tripe for Dogs, if you google it you can read the benefits i am very certain it will. help Olaf

      No need to pay us, but thank you! We're glad you enjoy our content and that's all we can ask for.
      We started our channel to genuinely help other struggling pet owners. We're not in it to become rich or internet famous. It's wonderful that we are getting so many subscribers and that's something we're completely grateful for. We love communicating with people like you who also have a Samoyed. We enjoy hearing stories and knowing people can relate to us. That's a win-win for us.
      My advice is to make content that people want to see and content that you love to make. Always have a plan, do your research on your topics, study your video analytics, and always be honest with yourself. We're perfectly fine showing our flaws as pet owners. It's reality. We're not trying to fool anyone to think we have everything under control. Having that sense of relatability helps a lot. It's not about us or our lifestyle like you may see on other channels. It's about people like you and pets. Just make as much content as you can and don't get discouraged if people don't interact with your videos at first. If you love what you do, the reward will be far greater in the end. We hope this helps and if you have further questions, definitely ask away!

    Hi there! Do you still find success with heeling when not using a prong collar? Wondering if it translates to using something like a flat collar or if corrective tools will always be needed?

    • @theoandolaf
      @theoandolaf  Рік тому +1

      Thanks for the question! Olaf is pretty good with heeling regardless of what collar he uses, but the prong collar definitely helped him learn how to properly heel. We would say to Olaf, "heel" and then properly pop, pop the prong collar, and then reward Olaf with a congratulatory 'yes', and end with a treat. Now all we have to do really is to give him the command to heel and he'll do it, but sometimes the prong collar helps to remind him if he gets too distracted.
