This is the second version of this remaster. This version includes:
Better mixing, particularly with the flutes.
Violas instead of violins, with a stronger attack.
Other minute changes.
I may have been a little overcautious with my first remaster of this, trying too hard not to make anything too loud...as a result, some things were too quiet. This version fixes it!
It is my pleasure to introduce the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2 Remastering Project, an undertaking of mine dedicated to bringing one of my all-time favorite video game soundtracks to a new life. It is my belief that this music--composed by Arata Iiyoshi, Hideki Sakamoto, Keisuke Ito, Ryoma Nakamura and Ken-ichi Saito--deserves to be listened to and enjoyed by more than just the people who play, or have played, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time/Darkness/Sky. It is a truly beautiful and widely appreciated collection of music, however with a limited potential due to the confines by which it is bound: a Nintendo DS cartridge. My goal for this project is to bring each track in the game to life by means of remastering, and in some cases reorchestrating, to the best of my ability, while at the same time preserving the natural charm that lies within them.

People say dialga was hard because of his roar of time 1 shooting your team. That is a factor, but remember, you just cried at grovile leaving, he was hard because you had to fight him through your tears
The first time i fought dialga, he wrecked my shit, so that doesn't change, but knowing that he was coming, makes it SO much easier. Riolu with focus punch is op as shit. i beat him in one turn, dealing over 600 damage. Partner finished him off with ice beam. Preparation kids, it does all the work for you.
Grovyle survived and brough Future Dialga back to senses.

The funniest part is that time is frozen, meaning it's been 11:56 for "who knows how long" (even though technically THAT'S not even possible)
So "an hour" later:
"What time is it!?"

The "projec" misspelling was due to the fact that the title would have been too long otherwise.
I also had to get rid of the comma after "REMASTERED". :P
Why don't you change the "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2 Remastering Project" into "PMD 2 Remastering Project"? You do that in the beginning so why not that part too?
Because a lot of people wouldn't know what "PMD" is. Plus putting "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon" in the title helps the video with search results.
In addition, I'm pretty sure this is the only title long enough to have this problem happen. lol

I really don't understand why this matters so much.
I didn't see anyone point this out, so I guess I get the honor: *'dat bass line bro!* Instead of taking the route of the OST and just have it play elongated on the chords, you instead matched it with the rhythm of the guitar and percussion. Nobody noticed (apparently) but even if not, I feel that even without consciously recognizing the subtle alteration, it just adds so much to the drive of this song! I really love it when you do stuff like that for the re-masters.

Personally it's my favorite game of all time. Yes I'm probably wearing nostalgia goggles but I honestly don't give a shit. The only complaint I have is: why do you not have a sleep animation in your beds once evolved and why does the partner lose the capability to emote (neutral emotion thingymajig above the dialog box forever) under the same conditions?

You really need to write some PMD fanfiction. Not that many good authors in the community, in my opinion. It's either terrible grammar or M rated gore-fests that they call PMD.

If I remember correctly, I didn't have all too much trouble with this battle. Intense af and it was seemingly eons ago but I don't think I ever had to restart. I was a Charmander and Totodile combo.

I miss the days when they didn't have to completely make up some dumb antagonist like "demon death ice" or "essence of hatred" and they could just use, oh i don't know, a POKEMON.
Everyone gangasta until the essence of hatred yeets the planet into the sun.
I dunno, using non-pokemon has its own merits. For one, isn't there something unnerving about facing something you know absolutely nothing about? In Dialga's case, you can kinda predict a few things (cough cough Roar of Time). But with Bittercold and Dark Matter, well, it lets the fear of the unknown go wild, I suppose. Sure, a big snowflake is... Mildly uninspired, and while Dark Matter's simplistic design helps it show itself as a *pure essence* of raw hatred, well, Mega Destruction Dark Ball of Darkness and Destruction called, it wants its joke back.
Well Dialga is a nice guy you have to bring back to its sanity.

I like the nostalgia of the original, and this didn't take away from it like any remixes. It's a true remaster of the song, and a very good one at that.
Think about it.
You're fighting a corrupted ruler of time. The music has gotta make it feel intense.
Not only was the battle actually cutthroat (Dialga could end it on turn 1, roar of time for like 150 damage to you and your partner) but the music made it feel like there was no room for error. It was a really well developed climax to he game.
When I battled Primal Dialga for the first time I FLIPPED when I saw that damage, combined with it being an AoE attack rather than single target.
thats why i (after i played thru it all once) always begin to stock up on all kind of seeds from the beginning^^

I remember FINALLY beating dialga after like 50 tries and being the king of the schoolyard. Then my friend came over like "hey can you help me? i can't beat him". I absolutely lost it as I saw he tried so many times, he and his partner were at lvl 70-something. He didn't understand how powerful some seeds are in this game, i nearly 1-shotted that damn dragon and he legit thought I used some kind of cheatcode...

Sleep and stun seeds are for the weak and criminals, the sight altering seeds are where it’s at, last longer and the ai is forced to aim stupid.
I just set my partner to only use Protect, and kept myself Protected and spammed Dig till I won. Worked perfectly, no seed needed.
This is one of those things that you didn't know you wanted until it came into existence. Definitely enjoy this one more than the previous version even if the changes are relatively small.

Not many people can perfect this theme but you did it somehow sir. And so congratulations on perfecting this theme remix.
I remember playing this game when i was younger and crying afterwards and so hearing an already beautiful song remastered in a more orchestral manner making it sound even more gorgeous is amazing and brings back all the nostalgia and all the good feels
It's a lot better than the previous version, something I didn't think was actually possible. When the flute is the primary instrument, it's much more clearly audible and the slight edits to everything make it much better. While the flute is still just a _little_ hard to hear sometimes, the overall improvements lead me to rate this as 9.8 PRS/10

I hate myself... I played Super mystery dungeon for the first time there's a month, and I finished it last sunday... Problem is, i loved so much the final boss theme i send it to my pokémon fan friend, who responded me with the original "Dialga's Fight to the finish", and i love it even more, and after listening it for LITTERAL HOURS, I found this... Now, i'm currently trying to do an animation based on this music : 3214 Frames. As I said : I hate myself.

Easy way to beat dialga with just about any starter. Have two violent seeds, stock up on reviver seeds, use a sleep seed to get the violent seeds ready. Enjoy

It is thanksgiving, and you are playing pokemon mystery dungeon: explorers of sky. Long before dinner is done, you get to dialga. and then, the worst happens. The kids you lived with came. And then, instead of the normal dialga theme, this plays. and dialga tells you to: LOCK YOUR DOOR. you do so. When they try to get in, you try desprately to beat dialga, and he says: PUT THE GAME IN YOUR UNDERWEAR DRAWER. THEN UNLOCK THE DOOR. DONT WORRY. You say: But, i... Then dialga says: DO IT. You nod and do as told. Before you unlock the door, dialga sends you a telempthic message. He said: GOOD LUCK. You unlock the door to your room, and they come in. You try your hardest to bear them, just as dialga said. Later, you were about to snap, when you heard a voice. wait, two voices. They said: You can do it! They were the voices of the player pokemon and the partner pokemon. And, the next thing you know, it was over. You said: Dialga must have sped up time... then you return to the game.
