My worst fear is showing up in one of these as a problem player
Sammmmee I'm always so scared that my username will be called out
Lol don't be, even if you're bad I'm sure it'll be fun, and a good learning experience. Plus even if it's not who cares.
No one really cares. They may laugh at the moment, but they'll immediately forget about it afterwards. No one is memorizing names from these, and if they are... they're pathetic
SAME. thank Keller for the new streamer mode
At 21:15 this was def a classic “nah we’re getting out of this ALIVE with or without our team’s help” support moment
Rein: gets nano and decides to hold the shield the whole time
*reaper ults*
Rein: time to drop the shield and stare death into the eyes!
Emongg is being nice , that Rein was sooo bad, you really have to try to be that bad 😅
This is some how gold 1…. How is this dude not bronze?
@@xRamm Noone plays tank, thats why lower rank tanks are in lobby with higher ranked DPSs.
I have 2k hours in tracer and i am barely masters meanwhile i am trash Winton one trick and i am masters easily every season (from there good tank players destroy me and i am hinderance to the team)
I'm pretty sure the shield broke and honestly couldn't tell if he held it up unnecessarily or not before the ult and wasted it before he needed it.
@@TheTossedOne If you got Nanoed, and you are in melee range, don't use shield. Period. So yes, he was holding it up unnecessarily.
He walks with his shield and only drops it when it's broken or when he uses a CD.
As a support player nothing I hate more than a coward tank 😢
Or a no fear, Leroy Jinkins tank (That doesn't pop off, if they pop off, go slay queen i'll try and keep up)
right LIKE WE'RE HEAL BOTTING THE SHIT OUT OF YOU PUSH UP
yes sometimes rein opens up shield and waits to something happen but nothing happens and they blame their team and when you try to play rein correctly they became toxic and say “just open your shield and wait you are a tank” :/
I hate keep telling the Reins to swing 😭
In defense of some tanks, we usually don't get good supports when we try to go more agressive in some games, so there's a low kind of trauma to go foward and flop and get flammed because of that
Not that this Rein even tried once but yeah
I hate teams that just are all over the place like that, especially when I'm playing support. Then they act like you're the problem when they have done literally nothing logical the entire game.
I know exactly what you mean though I play Kiriko so I guess I have a better time keeping up with suicidal teammates
It's painful but if they spread right not the worst, was just in a match where everyone was all over but intelligently, not randomly like this, also when do we not get blamed as support? Mfs always say its on heals when they wanna just feed in 😂
@@ralphforbes5807 lmao. For real. I just had a game where I had to explain to a tank not to just stand in the middle of the road and face tank every shot. Like I literally had to explain to him what cover was. Dude was anti'd and just walked right up to a Rein shielding a bastion. Like wtf?
Happens to me as DPS too, and it’s always annoying. Especially when the tank and supports go in completely different directions to do different things. It’s like I have to choose between supporting the tank in a fight that they won’t win without covering fire, or try to help the supports avoid being dove on, when usually, I should be able to do both if the team is actually playing together.
If I play as kiriko or mercy, I wouldn't mind if they all went all over the place as long as I can see them to help them, but if I was ana/Baptiste or any support that is not heavy mobility, I would just pray that the other support manage to get to them or they peak for me to able to help them 😔🙏🏻
3:34 Rein out there chasing Brigette's dad askin' why she's always complaining about him not showing up at the school plays.
The super defensive on attack and aggressive for defense is honestly very common among tanks in low elo. Idk how else to get them outta of the mindset even when they keep saying sorry I just say bro look here’s what you can start doing and stop doing. Sometimes they listen sometimes I face them next and roll them because they don’t learn.
Bro this is gold, look at the brig the brig is playing kinda smart this rein would fit well in bronze
The only thing worse then a scared Rein is a long range dva
usually when someone comes in saying 'we would have won except our tank' it's BS but this felt like a rein that thought he was sigma
That Rein was like " Welcome to Reinstop, we sit back and relax or go balls to the wall no in between. How may we help you?" lol
I'll take a uhhh, cross-map charge burger with a side of out-of-line-of-sight fries. Oh and my friend will have a shake, broken barrier flavor.
@@ArcNine9Angelbroken barrier is my favorite flavor! get me one too, I'll venmo you
I also would like a "Feeding I-Scream in chat" with my Big Slam 1v5 Combo
The tank is definitely hard stuck silver and is scared to push and die, but complains that his team isnt getting picks to allow him to take space when he sits in his backline without even trying to take space or enable his dps to make plays
This Rein has attained enlightment and knows things most will never imagine.
13:40, 100% worth it to kill the Mei lol
Emong, the rein was playing so passive from the start that it caused the team to scatter. When tanks play that passive every role in the game is affected. Dps run to try and make space for the tank, just like this brig. That tank needs to be demoted to silver playing like that.
But when we play aggressive we get yelled at so wtf do we do?
@@Invisibleboy999find a balance, theres a difference between being aggressive and feeding
@@Invisibleboy999I am not a tank main, but maybe my support main perspective will help. a big part of finding the line between aggression and feeding is knowing what resources you and your team have and keeping track. that way, you know if your team has the resources to keep you alive. if your Ana has used nade and you're getting low, duck behind cover. ALWAYS be playing around cover, even if you have a shield. shields can get melted. you don't want to be caught out in the open when yours does.
something I've found very effective as someone learning tank is planning out my aggression beforehand. I don't try to go immediately to point. instead, I focus on getting to the next corner and controlling it. once I have that, I focus on the next one
another big thing is keeping track of your supports. if your Moira dies early and your other support is Zen, you need to plan your escape. always having an escape plan and escape route in mind! whenever you push in, know how you plan to get out. if you send it into the backline as Rein without your team, you're probably going to die before your mobility cooldown is back up.
also, just because you have some form of mobility doesn't mean you need to use it whenever it's off cool down. it's a tool and a resource for your team. ALWAYS have a specific reason for using it. if you're playing Dva, you need to think, I'm using my boosters to get to high ground to create an alternate angle of attack to put more pressure on the enemy so they have to choose between shooting me or shooting my team" stuff like that.
I highly recommend turning on the audio cues for when teammates die. that has been super helpful for me.
my last piece of advice is muting and blocking people immediately if they get toxic. it's a fucking video game lol you're not under any obligation to deal with bullshit
Also if teammates are complaining about no peels its nearly always better to hold the line and block off support from the pushing tank rather than turn around peel. Apart of learning tank is learning what not to listen too.@@Invisibleboy999
@@Invisibleboy999there’s a difference between playing aggressive and running into a 1v5 like an idiot and expecting the rest of the team to follow. Rome wasn’t built in a day and it’s the same application when it comes to taking space especially as a brawl character
All there's missing in this team is: Communication and Coordination
man i feel bad, this was so easy to win if the rein either switched to Ramattra or Zarya and played more aggressive
I can easily see this Brig climb to plat and the Rein drop to silver.
I genuinely liked this game and Brigg u really play well
As a fellow player of brig I have but one humble tip. Use your shield more.
There’s plenty of moments you’re positioned behind hard cover without using your shield. Being behind hard cover is fantastic for brig, and having your shield up allows you to peek corners in third person safely to apply pressure and create space with whipshot, also gives you loads of vision.
This in conjunction with bash gives you freedom to safely disengage if you get dove behind your next piece of hard cover, and using rocket flail to peel for yourself.
For example a DVA boosts at you; you can easily rocket flail to keep her at bay, then bash away creating space to position yourself behind another hard cover
Basically using your shield in conjunction with hard cover is key for optimal brig play as it creates secure space not only for yourself but for your team
gamers, I have the worst migraine I've had in a while (which is an impressive one, to be sure), but ain't no way I'm not watching/listening to something to pass the time. this video came like a divine favor and I am grateful to emongg and team for blessing us in this way today. I might be Suffering but at least I have a swell treat to enjoy in the meantime.
get well soon dude!

That teamfight at 3:04 was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed, and judging by the other comments I feel like it's only gonna get funnier
Nah bruh that rein SHATTERED A WINTON BARRIER....LIKE WTFUUUUQ????
realtalk something about seeing reins on the high ground with their shield up is just objectively hilarious
1st point was won rein didnt had to do much he was simply being passive and rewarded, enemy rein was being proactive and agressive lost the defense.
2nd point they changed to a comp that counters rein defensive playstyle and force push this allowed reins playstyle to be agressive since he is now being contested but because he is rein he has to deal a comp that specificly targets him he is unable to be agressive and dies a few times thus pushes back to being defensive again since if he drops his shield he will be popped by a zen discord+reaper+mei combo, even though he is being very defenisve it does have its reasons. He died plenty of times everytime he was trying to contest but only to blow up.
20:59 he did good on solider but then priotize ana safety over rein this lost them the point granted he was still going to die die but those split second decisions are what makes or break the push after that it was better to die and reset instead of running around you did secure some kills but it didnt really matter because they pushed the cart far enough where rein had no supports to back him up(both supports were in the backline and cart was still being pushed rein had nothing so he to allow them the pushor died trying), this was the biggest mistake that could've saved more secs and couldve gotten a different outcome.
If you wanted rein to be agressive he needed the backup when he wanted to push but he never had the full support backup, everytime he pushed, so he stalled instead, it worked out in the end as he mangaged to secure a draw instead of a loss. He was dealt with a comp the revolve sombra+solider+mei+zen+repaer+dva and basicly only had a ana to heal him up at times your ana did most of the lifting as she had to to activily heal the team and set the plays.
Granted this isnt to say he was unfathomable as his pathing was really bad at times but he managed to stall pretty good and trusted his team on attack. (If your dps/supports are doing a good constant push i don't see why the tank needs to push his luck and loose the momentum)(This isnt to say that you should do this at every match but you dont neccesarly need to be the carry, if somebody is poping off then its more efficient to enable that person then throwing it)
I think what activly lost you the point was ult economy in general they had a very good ult usage and there was never a response to that so i do hope brig understands that if your tank dies to a 4 man ult it isnt neccessarily the tanks fault he used shattered (was a bad shatter) they responded to that and seized the opportunity. It happens you as a support can clutch those plays but at certain degree you either fall back and recontest or die and loose point.
I dont think it was a tank issue, i think the tank did fine for the current rank he is in, had questionable pathings at times and wasnt proactive, but he wasnt feeding and understood the situation he was in, he enabled his dps to secure picks, his backline was rarely contested ana for the most part was safe, and brig never actually needed to protect the backline, as there was only one time where it did mattered and succeeded but only to loose the point and staggered at the end.
I WAS THE BRIG HERE TYSM EMONGG! ❤️❤️

@@astridyoung3336 gj, was that game on console?
@@AMQWERTY379 no it was PC lol my mechanics are just ass
ur were so good omg
I'm a Brig main as well (I was previously a tank player since ow1) and I hate with all my heart tanks that are afraid of taking damage. Coward tanks always get on my nerves. At the moment I saw this 2:25 I was already raging 😂 For god sake, if you play like this, don't play tank, just don't. Especially a brawl tank in a map like King's Row.
i literally will tell my tanks to just w key sometimes, and if they die, then i'll take full blame for the death. can't stand passive ass tanks just sitting still, or s keying when they're full hp, getting spam healed, and sometimes have nano too.
A passive tank that doesn't create space is not a tank, he's a waste of a tank slot.
Their Brig is more a tank by heart than their Rein !! 😂😂
had a game on route 66 that wasn't unlike this one, except we lost definitively bc after our defence round the tank started being toxic in chat toward me and ana (i played lw on first point and swapped to moira to help deal with pharah bc our dps were struggling), and i consistently had the most heals in the lobby through the entire game, but bc the enemy dps were so good at picking off me and ana even when i swapped to brig for attack to help protect ana, and our tank never once tried to peel, we fell apart and somehow it was my fault and ana's too. :|
gold tanks are a different breed, man...
I don't necessarily think the game was all your fault as supports, but just from what you've said here, I can think of things you could have done differently.
btw, stats don't mean anything. just because you healed a lot doesn't mean you were supporting your team in the most effective way.
@@sethescope oh there were absolutely things i could have done differently, but the tank blaming us exclusively and calling us dogsh*t when he made zero effort to counter the enemy dps or peel for us in any way is something ive only seen in lower ranks, and that's kinda the point i was making. the guy did literally nothing to help us but expected us to do everything and blamed us when we lost.
This brig is emongg’s worst nightmare
That Rein needs to figure out what a corner is.
This is truly the Rein of all time.
😂 fun stuff. Such utter chaos around the 4 to 5 min mark. Very entertaining.
This rein is making me angry, it's making me prepare a flats' fruit salad worth amount of jabs and question marks
Also, how the frick did that enemy mercy get away with anything while on the enemy team side at the end!
We found the Chiyo and Fielder of Gold 1 lol the hit squad
The 1930 I'm like moira has fade right when u said the same, surely brig doesn't get the kill and dies.... nope gets the kill... and gets out. 😂
I had one of those games, our tank kept playing dva vs a zarya. Anyway, we ended up winning after they switched. Surprise surprise
This rein thinks the hammer is purely cosmetic
Has there been any vids, of a player that had a vid, and we check in on them again to see if they took any of the critiques and made some real changes to their play style?
How can I submit my replays? I might need some good advices.
"my tank is to passive"
sometimes they are to passive because they now if they go agro they die
This vod should be called how many bap ults can my opponent get on final point lol
Group dancing of those teams :)
I'm a tank and support main. Coward tanks are frustrating because if they do not establish themselves as a threat, the other team will rush you and its all down hill when they press your squishy back line.
Been seeing a lot of tanks that play like that lately. Supports that never heal and tanks that hide...
That rein is the reason i play tank most of the time.
I like how it's always reinhardt or ramattra
I actually really like this brigs gameplay
I’m a plat tank player and that rein was poor. Now I don’t play rein amazingly or anything, but here are some stupid things he did:
•Holding shield while nanoed.
•Letting his shield down during reaper ult.
•Not making space for the team.
•Playing too conservative during favoured battles.
•Tunnel visioning when the team was pushing.
•Attempting to take high ground as a REIN.
great Brig we have to admit
This Rein is basically me when I'm trolling in qp because of toxic teammates.
Ah, there's the video that got privated while I was watching it lol
Could anyone explain to me real quick why some replays have the team colors swapped? I always get confused seeing the enemy team being blue.
Server side each team is assigned a colour for the replay, which will always be the same no matter what perspective you watch
@@astridyoung3336 ah that makes sense! Thank you!
reaper held ult most of the 3rd point defence, im just curious and confused as to why that was
it needs to be perfect and kill the whole team or they save it for the next game.
I swear the enemy Rinehart was me I kept dieing alot so I was trying different tanks I was stoned when I believe I had this match
it was like brig was rainhart and rainhart was brig,, switch play style
Might as well play zen with how far back they play without getting inspire healing
They inspired a lot.
Bro this brig plays as if an ai watched every “how to win games as brig in high mmr” video
I hope i never hear the word "brigging" again. That was.. something lol
Honestly, the 1 trick rein doesn't seem to be the play for that tank though. DVA/Winston would have fit his playstyle more. With that being said, those few points emongg pointed out could have made a huge difference. Not just the focus on the mei, but at the end of the first round when brigg could have camped their spawn. That would have lead to a ton of more time on the clock for that first point.
How can I get in one of these vidoes I am a plat support and my teammates suck they keep rushing in with no tank and I play xbox
I stg ill play brig and i end up being the tank😭 nah like im currently d3 and ill have a dva playin like shes toilet paper 5
if that rein's in gold i must be plat
Nothing is more annoying to me than watching people ride the payload while the enemy team is respawning.
I would love to c players crouch out of the spawn doors XD
Rein literlly walks around with his shield out and only drops it when its broken or he uses a cd. If a torb is going to walk into hammer range while you have a brig next to you, beat that torb's ass like you are his step daddy. When people walk at his shield he S away from them instead of just swinging and using some of his health as a resource. I dont think he grasps that his health pool is a resource thats going to go up and down a lot. It almost seems like he is use to playing squishy characters and he does not realize he is not going to just go pop.
Honestly they win if ana doesn't waste nano on rein 4 times
I don't get why Ana keeps on giving nano to that tank can't believe she didn't notice how useless he is
@@akosiaimeee Please, I had 5 games where a different Ana ech time kept nano-ing me as a SIGMA AS SOON AS THEY GET NANO! In Gold-... When I ask not to do it and nano Reaper or something, saying what am I supposed to do with it, I have like one rock and that's it-... They say "do damage". Just because I have most elims and least deaths on the teams due to good positioning doesn't mean I'm the valid target to sit on me for both supports, which they for some reason do... Sometimes, playing tank, I feel like supports tunnel a good tank. So when I play dps I see almost no supporting and as a support I can see that the dps are not used to getting their support's help at all. It's so freaking sad!
@@satamiko I might be missing context, but nano-ing the Sigma isn't that bad, especially when they're using it straight away, better than holding onto it for OW3.
Also, sometimes it's best to use nano for that 50% damage reduction and practically full heal - you don't always have to make a play... sometimes keeping the tank alive is the play.
@@itsmikedev I was full HP and there was no need to nano in any of the situations I have received it. Yo Emong, would u spectate a console player ranked game? Been watching for years and I don’t really recall if you’d had! My Ana would be fun to watch hehe, jk, much love brother. Thank you for the refreshing and wholesome content! 🫶🏻
I swear, on average everything from like bronze 2 to gold 2 is all the same quality of play. the only difference is the amount of time people spend in ranked.
It is. I've been in Diamond for a while and just restarted as support and got started in Silver 5. I'm up to Gold 1 now and its all the same. Very little awareness of whats going on, very little understanding of how to counter or swap, and the biggest one is very, very bad Tank play. I swear at the lower levels tanks are the most consistently trash players. At high ranks its a toss up which role will be trash. But at low ranks its going to be the tank that loses is 80% of the time. They don't know when to go in or not. They don't understand if they are anti'd and cant be healed, and they either are terrified of being hit and never move in, or go full aggro and just walk straight forward all the way to the enemy spawn. Its actually crazy to watch as a Diamond tank player.
Gold console is Bronze 5 PC. Bronze console is Helen Keller.

The Brig gameplay isn't the best, but it's not her fault she lost the game for sure. One thing she needs to do is to stop bashing for damage - those early bashes can very easily get you killed. Use shield bash for retreating unless you *know* the person you're bashing dies.
100% agreed. When I saw them bash the reaper at second point defense I audibly gasped and paused the vid lmao
Not bad from Brigg. Some good moments but one thing I noticed that there was a ton of missed whip shots. Definitely around 10% accuracy on whip shots.
Wow what a good brig. Easy plat
I am not even 3 minutes in and as a tank main I have to ask, WTF IS HE DOING??? Yes lets use our shield, on the cart, where the team is still viewable. Or lets just leave the team fight and go into a building…
Why do they all have "bot" names?
"Is this console because this is shit" According to chat every spectating is console. Like people on pc can't be bad too.
First of all, I don'tknow why they played Brig at all on attack. On defense they had at least an Ana. The Rein is questionable but the two supports didn't play perfect either.
"semen inability" -emongg
I feel like that tank is someone who accidentally picked tank for that game. Looks and feels really off-role/new to the hero.
You play Brigg well, but I'd have swapped. It's hard to carry with Brig. If your Tank is this bad, it's probably better to pick supports who can carry the game. If you can shoot with Zen or Bap, you would have won this game easily.
I don't like brig and rein. Brig and sigma is probably my favorite brig combo, or brig and Queen.
"Everyone on the team was chill, our Rein was holding us back tho" Yeah, definitely not toxic
this person should never play brig again
This is so weird lol I'm a gold brig, BUT I dont blame my teammates and they actually end up liking me lol

I mean the tank didnt play great, but the supports and the rest of the team often went off and left him alone constantly. So he's playing his life. Easy to dogpile on the tank but the team was so scattered its not surprising he never pushed hard when everyone splits up like they kept doing. A tank that knows their team is super scattered, it not gonna play too aggressive cus they can't count on their team.
Also is twitch chat always like that? cus ewww lol.
Because he was totally out of position... He played like a Ashe...
@@minchen3171 Bruh, everyone was out of position lmao.
before even watching, I will say there is no such thing as a teammate being the "problem"
If you are actually good and deserve to be in a higher rank, then you will carry your team. Saying another player needs to change their play for you to win means you need to be carried. If you can't force a win then you are the same rank or below your opponents and you deserve to be in the same rank as your teammates that can't carry you.
I completely disagree with that. You can get away with 1 support or dps being bad, you can’t get away with a tank being passive and not frontlining during a team fight.
@weebtrash3376 yeah u can. If your tank is passive, go baptiste and do nothing but shoot their front line. Use imortality and jump to constantly escape. And if you don't have enough skill to do that, then refer back to my previous statement that you belong in your rank and should be losing 50% of your matches anyway
@@sanddagger36 what you’ve said would do literally nothing and reading what you said is a waste of time. If the tank is passive, that means he isn’t taking space, if he isn’t taking space, that restricts your options. Playing Bap and shooting their frontline isn’t a winning play because you’re not actually progressing or doing shit
@weebtrash3376 if you are good at the game, you kill their team and that prevents damage so you heal less.
If your tank doesn't take space its because they are being outplayed by opponents tank and the only thing you can do is take space yourself by getting kills, or making plays/flanking and then getting kills, refer back to step one. If you cant do that, take the L and stay that rank. Part of having bad teammates is deserving bad teammates because you are the same rank.
@@sanddagger36 “you kill their team and that prevents damage so you heal less.” Oh so do the thing literally every player, even bronze players knows to do. You’re arguing about a tank not taking space due to being bad which is literally not even what we’re talking about, we’re talking about a passive tank not being in the frontline. You’re already robbed of your space to begin with.
I’ve won plenty of games with bad tanks, I can still dive and create enough havoc for him to start taking space, I can’t do shit when the tank allows supports or dps to be the frontline because they’re too afraid to actually play the role they queued in for.
