TIP: Put the arco patch from vol. 2 and the legato patch from vol. 1 on the same midi channel. Set up a modulator in Kontakt (using say, CC2) on both patches, but inverted on the Arco patch. Now you can X-fade between the two - instant vibrato control!

Gotta try this in Musio. I suppose you should be able to assign midi control to the volume either way, or even modulate it on the track volume directly

I have her first cello sample and absolutely love it. I take it these were both upgrades. One question I have that I would love to see modeled, would be the use of her cello, combining different articulations. In band or piano music, there is rather constant interplay between stacatto, accents, legato, or even straight tongued quarter notes (Trombone guy). How do you go about writing a complex interaction of the above ... Might be a cool video, or perhaps it's in one of your courses ...

the library is awful. I mean the sound is good, emotional and all, but impossible to use, becuase it doesn't have proper legato, only stuttering swells from one note to another. so it's basically useless, unless of course you want it to play like it's stuttering all the time. if someone knows how to work around this problem and create nice legato lines with this cello - I would appreciate it.
This or Stradivari cello, can't decide. Anyone else in similar situation? :)

Both have their uses for sure! This for emotional lines, Stradivari for more straightforward classical playing with more variety.

It's true, tina guo cello is the best for lyrical and emotional lines. He lacks agility and maybe in that sense he is better blakus or someone else. You have a great channel, thank you on behalf of the community!
