51:05 "I know could warp there in the future" Fun fact! To register a bonfire as a warp point, you have to REST at the bonfire, lighting it isn't enough. On top of this, the game does not let you warp from the prison cell bonfire, so having the Duke's Archives bonfire as a warp point wouldn't have meant much even if you got it just from lighting the bonfire (assuming all the nearby Manuses would've let you rest at the prison cell bonfire to access the warp menu to begin with). This means if you hadn't beaten the rest of the duke's archives and Seath in that same attempt, you would have been sent all the way back to the prison cell! You obviously already had the giant door key but that's still a lot of the archives you would've had to retread if you had fucked up at any point. You narrowly avoided at *least* an extra hour of being trapped in the archives.
Fun fun fact: You CAN warp from the prison, as the game only checks if YOU are in the cell, and there's a small spot where you can reach the bonfire to sit down at from outside the bars.
You are officially the manusslayer, congratulations, it only costed your mental health jokes aside, you made an incredible run and I really liked it, it was interesting to follow this messed up journey (it gave me the idea of doing a radahn only run in elden ring because I think it can be as chaotic)
Honestly unbelievable that you achieved this. You and Challenger Andy are some of the greatest masochists I've ever seen. Also, ULTRAKILL and Risk of Rain OSTs are 10/10.
Andy fell off, Sarius actually makes videos, and it only took him 3 months to make the 2 all manuses videos while it's taken over 3 years for all Gaels
your dedication is really impressive. i audibly wheezed when the nito skeletons were not manuses, i think that could have been the runkiller, worse than four kings.
27:56 thanks god, Ruvik came to help, at this point. Wait, really, "losing my mind"? Loosing my mind, loosing my mind, loosing my mind. It's has to be The Evil Within reference. I doubt tho.
This 2-parter was amazing. While I have to applaud the patience and determination of making it through this entire Abyss-infested playthrough, I have to say it's really interesting to see what different challenges a unique twist can give to the game and how one can strategise to use the available resources to get through them. That being said, I don't know if you'll see this, but I'm afraid to tell you that you can actually skip the Ariamis sewers by jumping off the ledge without ever going there (the gate only blocks the lower passage and when you jump off you land beyond it). So, while a lot of that suffering towards the end may have been unnecessary, at least it goes to show that one of the two places that caused you to yield and use quit-scamming could have been avoided, thus allowing for a hypothetical one-quit-scam run.
Don’t piss him off! He WILL overcome all the odds to get back at you in ways you wouldn’t ever imagine 😂 Like showing up at your apartment in full Havel’s armor and he’s already mid swing when you open the door. You try to run but he has Tranquil Walk of Peace, slowing your movement before Composite head-shotting you to 0 HP
I'm obsessed with the fact that you went through all the effort of going down into the sewers to open the gateway to Priscilla...and then ignored it completely, instead using the shortcut up by the undead dragon, which you could have used without dealing with the sewers in the first place. There was no reason to do this, but also there was no reason to do this insane run in the first place. I'm just impressed by the patience and commitment, genuinely this is super cool.
WHERE is SILKSONG. I need more tracks like greenpath, the whole hollow knight OST is so nicely calming it reminds me of tracks from undertale here and there
Btw you can very much skip the bone wheel section of the painted world by jumping off some ledge at the top left part of the castle area over to the zombie dragon arena, and then walking past the "zombie dragon legs" (in this case the T posing Manus). Usually requires bugging out the zombie dragon legs by jump attacking it in a certain spot to get it into its T-pose animation, but in this run it seems it was already in the T-pose from the beginning so you could just walk past it like you did.
I appreciate you listing all the music used! Hah, the description is ironic, cuz if you were doing this challenge in DS2 instead - after 12 runs, the basic enemy Mani would stop respawning! Practically a cakewalk in comparison! Plus, warp from the start. imo, that's fair trade for the janky hitboxes!

Good video, but how come you went out of your way to go to the sewers in the painted world? You killed the Manus on the bridge where the undead dragon was, and if you kept going you drop down and would have ended up right at the fog door to Priscilla
And then you play DS3 and at the end the Soul of Cinder decides to take the form of this slayer of Manuses... No, yeah, keep your flame or whatever your plot was, I'll go play minesweeper in that corner.
"[...] Watch this one and comment how luscious my voice is." Extremely luscious, why one could say perplexingly so. Also, insanely good job on beating this run. It was a pleasure to watch.
I mean, the path you ended up taking bypasses the door that the sewers opens completely. You can even take that path in the normal game, because a jump attack makes that sleeping enemy stand up.
I don’t know if this has been mentioned or if it will be touched upon (I’m writing this mud video), but wouldn’t a Greatbow have been better for mass Manus clearing (for example lost izalith, new londo)? It has AOE, ridiculously high scaling and base damage, so basically a faster R1-spam.
Greatbows are excellent single damage, but the composite bow fires like 4 times faster, and even when the great bow is fully upgraded I still do half the damage on a comp bow headshot, basically meaning I have double the DPS with the comp bow
1:06:27 The hollows are hanging at the ledge doing pullups, meaning the Manuses would just fall off and die. You could have got like 200k extra souls. But, other than that, skipping them is fine too I guess
