I never found out his name but the man playing Amazing Grace at my brothers funeral deepen my love for that song and bagpipes. Rest in peace brother, you were laid to rest as you lived, a hero.

For the longest time I could not stand to listen to this song. I spent 24 years as a police officer and this song was played at evert line of death funeral I went to. Sad to say, that number was close to 50 from various departments. Hearing this always brings to mind the image of several hundred hardened street cops sobbing as the flag draped casket of our fallen brother or sister was carried from the church for the final ride to the cemetery. Until it is my time for that final ride, I will forever associate this song with my law enforcement family. This version is very powerful. Thanks for posting.
