I recently followed your video to do a screen replacement. It felt like everything went well but I am having an issue booting. When I first power on the device I see the windows logo, but then the screen turns off. It boots normally from there, and I can even attach it to my dock and use it with external peripherals. Do you know if there is an extra driver step? Is my screen bad?
Did you fix this? Stuck in the same situation.
@@1225eal i contacted Microsoft and they ended up replacing my unit. I did some digging though and turns out the boot logo is rendered on the display driver chip before the motherboard takes over. So the logo may be rendered on the display during initial startup but the motherboard could still either not be connected correctly or be shot causing it to go black. I hope this helps you in your situation. Maybe try contacting MS customer service and ask questions. Maybe they’ll throw you a bone

I replaced the screen of my Surface Pro 7, but now i have no touch in one corner of the screen, do someone know what's going on? I treid Reinsert the cables but didn't help

I replaced my screen . But now the mutli touch doesn't work ???
Might be many possibilities: 1- Screen wasn't connected with board perfectly or screen bad; 2- One of screen flex connectors and board connectors was damaged or both;
Advices: 1- try to connect screen again; 2- inspect both connectors; 3- try to install screen on other board or try other board on same screen to troubleshoot where problem is.
