You are a life saver. There is a viral video going around to freeze them whole, then run the frozen avocado under hot water 15 minutes before use. Such a bad and wrong advice. I have let them sit for over an hour before use. Yes they peel perfectly but so cold and hard to cut fruit from the stone. YOUR METHOD IS PERFECT ❤️ So much more ideal.

I did this today, I put them in vaccum seal bag. When frozen they don't mash down while the vaccum removes air. It was simple. When I save a half of one I didn't use I submerge it, skin side down in cold water in a container. Keeps for 2 to 3 days. Love them.
Thanks for such a short yet informative presentations. I have frozen avocados in the past after mushing them into a guacamole grade. However, once they were thawed they were this dark brown mush and were uneatable. Why did not that method work?
I'm going to try this so that I can make my Avocado Crema for tacos, half an avocado at a time. Because a whole avocado makes way more than I can use before it goes bad. I would probably be using the frozen half approx. within a month after the first half, so this should work just fine for me. Thanks!

Great video. I froze avocado halves, and the texture was not the same when thawed for guacamole. It was actually disgusting. I'm not throwing shade at you. I'm sharing my experience. Love your recipes.

Did you put lime or lemon before freezing them so they won't turn brown
No, I don't add lemon or lime juice before I freeze them, but I did test it that way and I couldn't taste it when I added it to a smoothie later. I just didn't notice a huge difference with the lemon juice added, in terms of browning later.
Can i just freeze it after cutting it into 1/4 and let the skin freeze together? By this I'm skipping the 1 hour freezing before moving to a container? Thanks in advance
Yes, if you don't mind them sticking together frozen, you can skip the first step.
You need to remove all the black spots in the avocados , cut around and discard also rub some lime juice , then u can freeze them in a freezer bag ( no need for tray or parchment paper )😅
If your knife breaks with an avocado pit, it was never a good knife. You should never be afraid to remove the avocado pit with a knife if it is a good knife.
Please don’t freeze it. The taste changes, it’s not good.
