Ms. Debbie, I am fairly new to your channel. Responding to the thumbs down and negative comment you receive. Sounds like it came from a competitor who can't be you and have the family you have online. Don't stop! Keep doing your thing. I LOVE IT!! P.s. Did the steam fish today and my wife had the nerve to ask me which restaurant I brought the fish from...lol.

Miss Debbie mouth mek fi chat anything dont pay dem no mind, everytime I introduced this vlog to someone we talk about the same thing. Yuh just feel like an era of Jamaica that has passed, so pure and happy with your craft. Because this is a gift, you make me feel like I'm back home watching my Granny and Mommy cooking and laying out nothing but good Jamaican values.
That switch up at 3;34 is exactly why only fiwi language can explain it.
Always puzzle mi how u can sit and watch something like this and the only comment you can make is a negative one. Its draining people let that go. Full time we appreciate the beauty in wi likkle dialect, its just pure poetry once you understand it. Miss Debbie keep teaching, I might not comment but like clock work we watch everything. Know that your are top 3 of all vloggers on this island. Rass Mokko, In Jamaica & Miss Debbie Debs.

Debbie I came across your channel on new year's day of this year. I was so excited to see a fresh new face and to hear the patio ( the worst thing you can do is trying NOT to be authentic or "speaky spokey " as my elders would say). Your Jamaican accent is what brings a lot of flavor to your channel besides your delicious food. Just block the haters and continue with your patio.

Debbiedebs I don’t understand everything you say because I’m bajan, but I love it, it’s your channel, so talk ya talk. Anyone subscribing to this channel knows you’re Jamaican, so should expect it...I think you’re fair because you don’t speak it all the time, which means you’re aware not everybody understands it...don’t worry about the thumbs down, everyone is not going to like everything we say and do..keep on keeping on, this bajan girl loves your channel😍💚💙💓🧡❤️💛💜💗

Hi Debbie, hi other viewers, I for one like the patois! I can't as yet understand all, but I'm learning. Most important is that you can be free about who you are! Love it or leave it, OK?! The calaloo pasta looks delicious ... mmmm! Lots of love to you from Holland! Jah bless!

It's not hard to understand. Some people need to just shut their mouths and open their hearts and receive what miss deb is saying and sharing. Some people will hate on you no matter what. Like miss deb says....never let the evil consume you. Bless no stress. Now that's the same not matter if its patois or not. Big up miss deb. Love you and your channels. Much respect.

No other nation in this world are not ashamed of their native tongue like Jamaicans. Although English is our language, we have Patois which was spoken by those who slaved day and night and paved the the way, so some of us can act so prideful, oh please I've lived in Canada since i was 10yrs old and i still speak my patois, the thing is i can switch it up to fit the situation. The French, German, Africans, Chinese and Indians embrace their original language and encourage their children to do so. My children are Canadians and try to copy patois, im proud that they embrace both parts of their heritage.
