@@grammarguru554 no supply!!! I'm looking for a TRD Sport as well. But no inventory anywhere and everyone wants close MSRP if they can find one. Is that your experience as well? Also, why did you choose the sport over the offroad?
I’ve had my 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 for a year now and did not know that it had remote start from the Smart key fob. When I asked the salesman about remote start during delivery, he told me that it was only possible using the mobile app. I just grabbed my keys and sure enough the remote start worked from the fob. I’ve watched a ton of Tacoma reviews on YT and haven’t seen anyone mention this. Thanks, you just made my day and now I love my Taco just a little bit more.
Just bought a TRD Sport with LED Headlights in silver sky metallic. Silver wasn't my first choice but it was the only TRD Sport with LED headlights within 200 miles of where I live. The supply has been very limited due to factory shutdowns caused by Covid-19. However, silver has really grown on me. It definitely looks great on the Sport trim with it's color matching fenders. It gives the Tacoma a strong and solid look and always looks clean. I absolutely love my new truck, the headlights really are the finishing touch for me. I've always loved the Tacomas since my high school days in the late 90s. I'm used to driving luxury vehicles, but with the leather, premium, tech, and led headlight packages, you basically get the best of both worlds.
It's very hard to get a Taco this time due to supply limited. It took me 2 months to get the same one you have TRD Sport ( Silver sky metallic). Also, Dealer just wants to sell with MSRP price no lower ball. If I don't want it and other customer will get it
I bought my 2020 TRD Offroad in late 2019. Honestly the features included in the 2020 refresh were what sold me on it. If they had not updated the 2019 features I probably would have just gone for a used truck, but Android Auto, power seats, and the LED headlights really made it feel like a worthwhile package.
I just purchased an Off-Road a couple of months ago. I was trying to decide between that and the Sport. The Sport did handle better, but in the end, it was the ride quality of the Off-Road that won me over. There are many roads around me that are in pretty poor condition, and I found the Off-Road drove over them better. As far as handling, the Off-Road wasn't too bad compared to the Sport. The only complaint I may have is the transmission at highway speeds (gear hunting/power). Otherwise the truck is pretty smooth and quick around town, and easy to drive and maneuver.
Awesome to hear! Nice choice and I don’t blame you for going with the Off road version..I enjoyed driving that one last year too. I hope you continue to enjoy your truck! 👍
Ah... the 2020 Tacoma TRD! The grill reminds me of my '19 RAV4 Adventure. At 6'2" I found it difficult to comfortably sit in the '19 Tacoma (or any Toyota with a moonroof). Love the truck though! I just picked up my 2020 sport today. I traded in my 2018 and have to say the 2020 isn't quieter and my be even a little less quiet inside while driving at normal speeds. I am confused as i have heard it was supposed to have less outside noise on the 2020. Almost seems to all come from the back (wind noise) and i even checked the windows and doors.
The TRD Off-Road I test drove had crazy body roll, so I'm looking into the Sport, which seemed to drive better on the highway. The scoop is pretty cheesy though. Is it easy to ignore after a while, or does it cause persistent problems with blocked view or glare? I would use it on-road 99% of the time so the Sport seems like a better choice for my usage other than the hood scoop.
I know what you mean about the roll! I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with this Sport to get a feel for the scoop, but I did with a 4Runner with a scoop and there was some glare at time, but otherwise mostly didn’t even notice it. Maybe they’ll let you take one out for an extended test drive or take it home for a night
is this the regular technology or the advanced technology package? asking because I test drove a Tacoma trd sport and didn't see some of these features like in your video.
Prime Autotainment that does not necessarily mean that you never said anything about it you talked about the key fob start but that does not mean it has the button start there are a lot of cars that have it without button start also that’s not the point I was not sure if it was for all sports or not also for anyone else such as myself who is looking to buy one and wants to know more information about the truck that seems like a pretty important thing, at least it is to me but never mind it was just a question
I should have shown the button, that’s my bad. Usually I do, idk why I didn’t this time. Yes all of the TRD models have the push button start, plus the limited. SR and SR5 have the regular key ignition
I can’t remember exactly what is needed but , I believe it’s with the engine audio *plus* that you can have it, which I believe the TRD models can have. Sorry I can’t remember for sure
You think this guy, who has a new vehicle every single week, would know that? He doesn't give a fuck. He runs through what he shows you in the video and moves on to the next thing.
@@PrimeAutotainment seems a bit on the DELICATE side but so far so good, when you wash it also it does what it's supposed too afterwards but it'll show from time to time check Charging System, well it is 4wd what if it gets wet doing that? Is going go stupid on me? I don't know, if you change tire wheel size it could effect warranty, some wind noise, although it won't let you lock the keys in it, a good, thing, I haven't found away to lock it while running, maybe I'm not supposed to, seatbelt warning never shuts up, warning beep in 4lo is constant, I know it's in 4lo, but those are little things
I don’t think they feel any different than last year. They felt fine to me but I didn’t mind last years seats either. Not sure if the cloth ones feel any different
So unimpressed. The audio is better in my 07 accord... also, the navigation is not 3D. What in the 2005 is going on here? I’m a big Tacoma fan, but the technology is horrible. :/ U are behind the times.

Great amazing brother so beautiful video 🤝🏽👍🏾✌
Thank you Juan!
Does it change gears a lot?
It sucks pretty bad how the remote start stops once you open the door 🤦🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
They need to do a v8 Tacoma!
If you want a V8 go with the tundra.
How much for 2020 TRD Sport 4x4 with leather? I live close by
The TRD Off-Road I test drove had crazy body roll, so I'm looking into the Sport, which seemed to drive better on the highway.
Why is it cheesey???
@@terrynichol577 Because it's not functional. Looks cool though. 😎
@@confidentlocal8600 who cares, looks good.
@@terrynichol577 exactly! Who tf calls it cheesy? Oh well, to each his own!
Do the 2021 tacoma trd sport
No crawl control ?
I just don’t like the terrible storage on the center consoles on these small trucks. Full size trucks are so much better for the price
Is the 4x2 trd sport fwd or rwd
They need to make v 12 gastler so that the oil company are happy
Why you guys, didn't put the price in the video
I put the price at the 0:46 mark of the video.
Where is the x-runner🧐
Does it still come with the dumpster fire transmission?
Get manual
Sadly yes. I don't mind a cvt in a car but a truck should have a traditional automatic transmission
@@rmitchell1 the tacoma doesnt have a cvt
does the sport mode make it faster? From 0-60 in how much time?
Nope. Same engine, same transmission as the OR or limited. The Tacos aren't made for winning races.
Magnetic grey 2020 Trd sport taco
There isn’t anything I don’t like ! Other then the 3 months wait to get it .
Tacoma Limited 4WD color white..$ ?
is this the regular technology or the advanced technology package? asking because I test drove a Tacoma trd sport and didn't see some of these features like in your video.
Good question. Im hoping he answers......
No mention of the keyless startup with the button on the dash??
GamingMaster YT I mentioned and showed the “smart key” which means push button start. Obviously you knew it had push button start
Prime Autotainment ok thanks you
Power Seat, NO Memory function? That's Cheesy No L.E.D. Headlights? Unless you get Pro? Cheesy
I wanna buy it in Canada
Toyota just announced that all Tacoma production in Texas will shut down and move to Mexico. It "was" a nice truck
☹️
@@PrimeAutotainment on the bright side, all tacos will now be authentic Mexican
They've been making Tacomas in Baja California Mexico for YEARS so...
@@RagingBad some not all.
Japoop Sabeano And?
keep the front tires straight. thanks
Is the remote start only available on the Limited?
I can’t remember exactly what is needed but , I believe it’s with the engine audio *plus* that you can have it, which I believe the TRD models can have. Sorry I can’t remember for sure
40 grand and no remote start ? Wow
Did the power loss problem get fixed? Fuel flow issue
You think this guy, who has a new vehicle every single week, would know that? He doesn't give a fuck. He runs through what he shows you in the video and moves on to the next thing.
How much
Can u review the base model of the near Tacoma
I might be able to grab one later on!
@@PrimeAutotainment thanks
Very nice review as always. I just say first to be annoying. :). I be ornery sometimes.
Haha thanks Leo! I like it! I’m that way too lol
Cuanto y cuantas miyas tiene
Geez the grille's are getting so big for 2020. The truck looks so much like a slightly smaller Tundra.
It's the same size grill since 2016
Got My 2020 Toyota Tacoma Trd Sport 4x4, kinda REGRET it, should have gotten a Jeep
Dang I’m sorry to hear that. What about it don’t you like?
Jeep lol
did they fix the hard seats?
I don’t think they feel any different than last year. They felt fine to me but I didn’t mind last years seats either. Not sure if the cloth ones feel any different
If you think they're hard try the new Wrangler, those feel like wood
Omg the fucking lights
is it push button start?thanks
Yes push button
Automatic transmission has push button start but Manual Transmission has a key
Tacoma is the Best Mid Size truck on the market! TRD PRO is the way to Go! voodoobluetacolife19
Nissan Frontier still outsells this right ?
Miguel...
Not even close lmao
Nissan Group sold 10.76 million vehicles worldwide making it the best selling automaker for the 3rd year.
T 15 haha your dreaming
Miguel Ircontar Not even close. Tacoma sold 285,000 Tacoma’s I’m 2019. The frontier only sold like 50,000 a very big difference.
So unimpressed. The audio is better in my 07 accord... also, the navigation is not 3D. What in the 2005 is going on here? I’m a big Tacoma fan, but the technology is horrible. :/ U are behind the times.
Your not meant for this truck
Is this automatic or manual?
It’s a sun roof
Toyota says it’s a power tilt/slide moonroof.
Chevrolet colorado
Yea duramax with italian engine made in thailand
Who cares about power seats?
you have too much ads annoying!
UA-cam places the ads, not me

🤢 SPORT 🤢
myelene1778 whats the problem
@@brettg689 doesnt look "sporty"
True tho
I think the Tacoma has gone WAY to far too the CHICK-A-FIED side, and how durable is it? Maybe better off with 2 gen Tacoma?
OVERPRICED, OVERHYPED, OVERRATED
Stfu already
