i don't know if there is any other youtuber as transparent as this legend... and not only on the chair panorama, but in all of youtube... god bless you, your family and your knee, because if you don't deserve it i don't know who does...
Watched the entire video at normal speed even though not a single one of these chairs are available in my country. I appreciate the well paced, natural flowing, well spoken delivery. Thumbs up from NZ.
dont think my brother knows about your videos but hes 6’3 and his ergo 3d just arrived a few days ago and he already loves it. glad to know he made the right choice!
Thank you for your honest review. It helped me make my decision on a great budget chair (Ergo 3D) mainly because of the headrest in the sea of chairs. I was going to get a brand new one especially given your discount code, but I still would have preferred to try it out first before buying. I found a used one for sale which I could try out, so I ended up buying it from this person even though it was not pristine but it is considered "like new" and for a good price. Thank you again.
i used rewind for almost a year. it feels good and isn't scratchy at all. the problem is the head rest is not high enough for a 186cm guy, and the head rest can't be locked to a specific position
Chairs to avoid: Sedus I've tried an expensive Sedus chair in my local office supplies store, it's a german brand, it seems to be mostly has a beefy ABS plastic construction it seems, but only metal parts are the metal hardware and adjustment. But the back support has a thin sliding thing, too little adjustment, no back support actually. It costs 1 032,39. The gaming chairs at Jysk or Power store were much more supportive they have pillows I could slide up and down. but the arm rests were as sloppy on all of them. There is a lock, it has a tiny knob you twist, like on a oven you bake in, but tiny, it only locks the rocking feature in the first position, not when leaning back. But it does lock it properly. Dacota Gaming Hydra: no arm support adjustment, no lock for rocking. Cepter Phoenix Pro: bad neck pillow, the back pillow lacks shape and is not attached, no adjustment. Cepter Astra Pro: it has a similar design to this chair 3:27, seems like it's a gaming version rebranded for Power, no lumbar adjustment, no up and down, back and forth, awful. But it's half price of the one you got there.
Thanks for the honest review. Odinlake looks great at first glance but I'm not putting out that kind of money for it. Also you mentioned in another video that mesh isn't great if you're on the heavy side, so I'm making sure I take that into consideration too. Thanks for all your honest wise words. Hope the comments help with the algorithm :)
Wow Dan! My best friend had almost the same exact thing happen to his knee last summer! He was playing soccer instead of volleyball but he had a dislocated knee cap too like you did but it turned out when he got it checked out again over 6 months later it was a torn ACL just like you! But you’re out here doing the lord’s work with these videos! Helped me snag my first Aeron awhile back! She’s pretty old, but still kickin! I couldn’t pass it up for only $10!
I looked at that Rewind chair, but I had a feeling that seat pad was insufficient. Great review Dan. Sad about the ergo upgrade being so scratchy. I did however buy the Nouhaus Cobra on prime days for $429. I get it by July 29. I throw a review up on my channel. You rock!
Im so confused as to how u just have all these chairs and know theyre garbage Did they send them out to u? Either way thanks for such a honest review I post affiliate content on tiktok and occasionally partner up with brands I wanted to know whether or not thiis company had any good chairs so if I got sent a sample i wouldnt be complaining Thank u man
I appreciate an actual negative review. I am office chair shopping and there are simply an insane number of choices out there and clearly they all cost nothing to make or there wouldn’t be so many companies entering the space they’re marked up hundreds of percent.
Glad you found it helpful! I made a guide for all the chairs I actually do like for 2022 if that helps you narrow your search! The ULTIMATE Chair Buying Guide for 2022 ua-cam.com/video/dENnkLM1QB0/v-deo.html
Absolutely my brother. It's so stupid some brands rely on the mesh's integrity to protect you from a literal plastic brick placed right on your spine. Works for a few months then you're on the market again. Some bullshit.
Good on ya brother! Ahnestly is definitely the go to channel for production value and opinions. Wondering if you ever thought of doing a spreadsheet with categories for the chairs per normies, shorties, and freaks of nature…like a “Doug Score”. Also, have you come across the Clatina Mellet? I heard it’s a Leap knock-off with a proper headrest shape. Curious of your opinion. I’m on the hunt now… I stand at 5’11” and I’m looking for something that’s comfy for an ergonomics rebel that I could use for lounging…
Dude, Thanks! Those look like the chairs I was reviewing. They certainly Look nice, but one wouldnt discover this stuff until they have unpacked it. I'm also wondering what my cat would do to that scratchy mesh
Knead now has a KC02 which doesn't have the lumbar plastic on it. Have you gotten a chance to try it out? Its $325 and was considering getting it if the rest of the KC01 chair was good minus the lumbar support. Thanks!
That's good to know! Yeah that chair is basically a rebrand of a chinese chair - and while that stinks, the value add is that you (hopefully) get customer service and warranty from the company selling it!
@@Ahnestly gotta say I bought it through Amazon and when I emailed them about a replacement part they send it for free no questions asked! So for me the Komene was a good buy and way cheaper :D
Glad I didn't end up getting the nouhaus rewind chair for the food rest. Do you know anything about the Odinlake ergo chair? Seems like it has similar features at around the same price point.
Been thinking about that odinlake also. I almost bought one to review, but no free return shipping. Learned that lesson on my secret lab chair. I still returned it though.
Interesting, the Knead KC01 seems to go here in Finland by Zen Phase 004. I wonder if one of these is a copy of the other, or are these both a copy of some premium chair? I was sweating trying to find more than one review on that chair, guess I can trust this one now though, as they are identical. EDIT: HOLY SHIT, There is a Knead KC02 out there, which is also indentical to something called Direkt Interiör Ergo 312, sold by DPJ. Safe to say that these 200-400€ chairs are just the same stuff with different names... and prices :D And I have tried the Ergo 312, it's fine for 279€, but certainly nothing special. It lacks the stupid plastic sliver support piece, but the swivel mechanism is not as nice as the KC01/Phase 004. Getting really tired of sitting on this ottoman here, though it's comfier than 90% of the chairs I've tried, I need a backrest :D WHAT DO I DO, There's no Steelcase or anything like that available here, and I certainly can't afford anything from Herman Miller. Everything from IKEA has only ever been a letdown and used professional office chairs are nasty, and I don't want that look in my home!
FYI for anyone considering Nouhaus, their warranty is garbage and if you have any issues with your chair you won't get any support from them at all. 0/10 do not recommend.
Hey Pal I would first learn how the chair works before claiming it sucks. Rewind models back rest does lock, all you have to do is turn the main up down lever to the side and it locks the back. my 5 year old figured it out in 2 minutes, not joking…
Hey pal, I never said it doesn’t lock. I said the tilt tension doesn’t work. They are 2 different functions. A lot of people I know prefer to unlock their chair 1 notch and then tighten the tension so it feels like they’re floating in the chair. If you like your chair, then screw what I say! Im just trying to give objective information based on all the other chairs I reviewed at this price point!
So sad, the influencers are not reliable (except for Ahnestly friends). How about the Wau 1 with TPE/Elastomer material from Merryfair of Malaysia or the Staples Hyken or Ergopro (brand could be Oline) with legrest? God bless.
Haha I’ve had multiple people comment saying they bought Herman miller Embodys and say they hate it compared to the Secretlab…Ive had people come over and comment how much they preferred the huge space in the secretlab over my $1k+ chairs. I think every person is different and I go by the merits of the chair. Seat is very hard, I’ve never shied from speaking the truth on that, but some people LOVE that. Secretlab was the first ones to knock down those annoying ass bolsters to make a viable racing style gaming chair. The recline feature in racing style gaming chairs is unmatched - I own $30k worth of chairs and no one comes close. I take naps at my studio with it! I still say that probably 30% chance you’d like the SecretLab whereas probably a 50-60% chance you’d like the more ergonomic chairs. Hope this makes sense

I just bought the ergo 3D for $271 on amazon and so far it’s pretty good but not long enough to give a full and proper review
how is the chair now?
What about now?
What about now?
Bro are you still with us, how's the chair?

Thanks a ton for this PSA...Will be sure to stay away from the ones in this video - but good to know the Nouhaus Ergo3D is still a good buy

I posted that Nouhaus Cobra video on my channel. Please check it out. Let me know what you think!!
Great video, still loving the embody, thanks again!
love the transparency, you could have made a buck promoting those. thx
After watching this, I'm even more hopeful about my remanufactured Leap V2 that's on the way, first high-end chair, ever...
Can you talk about the Hinomi H1 Pro?
Bro dissed 3 same chairs just to bring 4th same chair

My next chair will be one you review. Sitting on the Nouhaus ergo 3d everyday is no fun.
Finally, I was looking for an honest review like this. Definitely i Will use your code, thank you
you spelled "ahnest" wrong, but I forgive you :-D lol
@@Ahnestly LAMO hahaha 😂😂,
I have already ordered my 3D ergo with your code BTW
Also, if the ErgoPro and Ergo3D were the same price, which would you recommend?
goddamn this is a great question. The ErgoPro offers a couple more adjustments, so I would say the ErgoPro
Get the surgery - I tore my ACL and waited 2 years out of ignorance and my knee just wasn't the same. get the Surgery and take PT seriously.
Damn, thanks for the advice!!!
Absolutely my brother. It's so stupid some brands rely on the mesh's integrity to protect you from a literal plastic brick placed right on your spine. Works for a few months then you're on the market again. Some bullshit.
have u tested the ergohuman Gen2 yet? just found this one but i think it's the version 1
Have you reviewed the Hinomi H1 Pro?
Question: If the Ergo Pro was cheaper, would it be a good buy?
Good on ya brother! Ahnestly is definitely the go to channel for production value and opinions. Wondering if you ever thought of doing a spreadsheet with categories for the chairs per normies, shorties, and freaks of nature…like a “Doug Score”.

Dude, Thanks! Those look like the chairs I was reviewing. They certainly Look nice, but one wouldnt discover this stuff until they have unpacked it. I'm also wondering what my cat would do to that scratchy mesh
Love the ahnesty!
This really helps, I'm still shopping and these are good points to look for. BTW, what camera are you using? It looks awesome. Thnx.
Hey! Thanks for the kind words! I'm using an A7siii!

I got the Komene Ergo for like €220 and is basically the ergo3D copy.

What chair do you recommend office wise?
ua-cam.com/video/dENnkLM1QB0/v-deo.html here you are
Hey Dan, have you ever reviewed the Mavix chairs? Thanks and great video once again
Yup! A while back. I’m not in a place where I can link it for ya - just search mavix m7 vs m9
Which chair would you recommend with best/adjustable lumbar support ?
I have a playlist called my favorite chair picks. Check it out!
Glad I didn't end up getting the nouhaus rewind chair for the food rest. Do you know anything about the Odinlake ergo chair? Seems like it has similar features at around the same price point.

I don't think Martiangear is able to send anything since they primarily deal outside of USA. I gotta check out the Ergotune though!
Doesn't the ergopro use the same material as the ergo3D?
The mesh is not as scratchy on the ergo3D, and the mesh is looser, but it makes sense considering the price point
Thank you for this!
You're welcome!
A very common problem among "ergonomic" chairs, is a super duper aggressive lower back support and I hate them
I hear ya!
Dan, they’re gonna take out your other knee if you keep it up. Be safe my man
LOLLL How did I miss this comment!?!?!
FYI for anyone considering Nouhaus, their warranty is garbage and if you have any issues with your chair you won't get any support from them at all.
