I like that they put the cut type on the backing. For people that don't use their pads often it definitely helps in knowing what you're using at a later date.
Doing a deep reconditioning of a 26ft box truck. Pulled off all vinyls and removed adhesives residue. Bought several of the Grants pads (so new to my store they were still in warehouse and had to ask them to bring out for me) to do the compounding and polishing so I don’t ruin my Rupes pads with left over adhesive. They are working great and excellent value. Would use them without hesitation for any non-critical jobs.
That’s really solid results for how affordable the pads are. I use Griots microfiber and although they do a better job it’s not that much different. The vibration difference looks significant. Good buy!
I was just talking with my dad about needing some cutting pads. I may just pick up a package this week and give them a try. Thanks for the demo. Nice pick up. ✌️
Brian Merry Christmas to you and your family. A year or two, I bought Bauer Pads from Harbour Freight. I purchase the medium cut foam pads and the best way to describe them is the foam was course. I usually boy Lake Country Foam Pads. These pads were made in China. I would like to try these pads, but like you, I currently have too many pads...
Happy holidays! These new pads are looking good. It's nice to see manufacturers sticking to pad color standards (blue compound, yellow buffing, black finishing, etc); I tend to avoid pads with confusing colors.
Those pads perform really well, great value for money when you consider they are manufactured by lake country, DIY detail pads were once made by lake country, but the partnership ended !🇬🇧
Those are some good looking IK’s. Glad they are your background :). Tnx for showcasing these pads. Look awesome and love HF. Going to check them out today. Merry Christmas fab to you and the fam
Looks like HF has upped their pad game. I know I tried their foam pads 4-5 years ago and backing wanted to come unglued after just one vehicle. Merry Christmas Brian to you and family.
I thought about HF pads for my old boat, the gel coat has a few chips and scratches, I figured if I kill a pad polishing my boat I won’t cry over it lol, thanks Brian 👍😁

Microfiber materials cost more to produce and they give you 2 for the price of 1 foam. I can’t wrap my head around who priced these.

It seems like Buff N Shine is making buffing pads for a few new companies from comparing the ones I have.

Microfiber cuts very aggressively., and really heats the clear coat….no need for microfiber. Use wool, your better off
@@tony8354586 You need some heat to correct paint. Microfiber works great and when done right doesn’t over heat the surface.
