he has to live with the fact that his "adopted" parents were involved in acquiring him. I imagine how easy it was for the parents to provide him with documents since it was back then.
He was obviousy raised in a good home, maybe inherited something and led a wonderful life. If his life would have been bad, he would have run away. Or they told him a lie. Anyway. Nobody can be prosecuted because its word against word. The family adopted him by good will. The other women who kiddnapped him, might have signed his adaption paper as her own child. Maybe this was her business idea at the time. She had a six year old, knew that somebody would pay for adoption so she sold another child and not her own. Victim was the brother and mum, having to live with this their whole lifes. At least brother could depart in the knowledge all is good now. Family complete.
Probably a child adoption ring. The lady probably worked for someone else. The adoptive parents may have been completely innocent and way back then the east coast more than likely wouldn’t have known someone was kidnapped on the west coast.
Yes, maybe the adoptive parents were scammed on adopting a kid that they thought belonged to the kidnapper but if the 6 yo told them that he was taken from his real parents and he doesn’t know the woman who kidnapped him, wonder what they would’ve done with this information or they just kept him. It would still be a crime to know they had a stolen child and did nothing about it. Hoped they at least reported it and made attempts at the time.
Curiosity. What did the husband of the kidnapper think when his wife showed up with a six year old? Women didn't have rights to even open up a credit card in their name,no less adopt a kid.
He has a mole under his bottom lip I wonder if that was mentioned in the newspaper article when trying to find him imagine knowing that you were taken from your family and living with stranger’s who I’m sure he eventually had gotten use to living as their child it’s so sad lot’s of year’s lost 😢

So much of this story doesn't make any sense. It seems Luis remembered he had been abducted, yet that didn't lead to anything. If someone took my son away at age 6, took him to a different city or even country here's what would happen. He'd tell all his teachers he was abducted. He'd tell every stranger along his path that he was abducted. When he's old enough to go to the police station, he'd tell them he was abducted. When DNA technology comes out, he'd be the first to use it. He would also have confronted his "parents". I'm assuming the woman who stole him gave him away to the couple who raised him, probably after a financial transaction. If so, this woman most likely stole other children. As long as someone is old enough to remember they were abducted, I don't understand how they could remain a victim for a lifetime.
It's horrible the mother died never knowing if he son was alive but I hope the kidnapper is so in her last year or so she knows the world knows what a POS she is and her secret is out. To do that to his parents and brother is beyond cruel.

His big brother held out all those years to get some peace and closure. I wish they could have had more time together but the joy certainly overshadowed so much of the pain💛
It’s so sad that it took so long. I’m glad he got to see his brother before his passing. But still….
His poor mama.
So there must be records of how the couple got to adopt him. And did they know the woman who kidnapped him? I hope this is being investigated
They kidnapped him and just gave him to another family to the other side of America mate
@@nathdonplays2782 must have made some money in the process. Otherwise kidnapping doesn't make sense. They didn't do it out of goodness of their heart
THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!HOPE ONE DAY FIND MY YOUNGER BROTHER!!!PRAY FOR A MIRACLE.
❤❤❤❤ that insane 70 year just out here looking for your family 😢
How do you not talk about who the woman green bandana or the couple was who stole him?
he does not want his identity revealed so you post his picture instead? hows that working out for him?
That poor mother who died without reuniting with her son. This upsets me so much. I know there's a silver lining to the story but it just makes my blood boil knowing criminals were able to get away with a major crime and caused so much grief and pain.
Thank you for writing this empathetic comment because you've put into words how I'm feeling and cried for the mother who must've died with a broken heart. 😥
He was 6 when it happened, so he must've known he was taken. At that age you know your parents names, phone number, and address. I wonder if he ever tried to find his family? I'm glad he's been reunited with them now. ❤
You never know what he was told by the people that took him.
@@HarleeRider That's a very good point. As an adult though I wonder if he ever tried looking. If he ever started thinking about what happened, you know?
kidnappers often tell the child the same story over and over until the child believes it.
@@tararansom2750 It's so terrible. 😞
If he was 6 years old when he was kidnapped, I wonder why it took him so long to try to find his biological family.
Amazing and heartbreaking.
Oakland??? What county. I was acquitted from child stealing last month. Custodian accused me of kidnapping my child.
Are you serious?
wow G-d bless him`
So who was the woman that kidnapped him?
What a story to give other families hope❤❤❤
What a feel good ..albeit bittersweet..story! I feel so very bad for his biological mother..she’s up in heaven looking down with a big smile on her face. God Bless all the family 🙏
WOW!!! What happened to woman ?
So uplifting, inspiring.
This is crazy 😮
Sad story, at least he got see his brother one last time.
So many questions, though
So happy they were alive to see the day and meet up. I hope he a had a kind life.
So who raised him etc 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
so sad for the parents, so happy for the brother!!!!!
So sad! He must of had some memory of his family! His heartbroken mother!
he has to live with the fact that his "adopted" parents were involved in acquiring him. I imagine how easy it was for the parents to provide him with documents since it was back then.
Got goosebumps.
To his momma it means nothing. .
His mom and dad died not knowing.
Quite incredible!
Curiosity. What did the husband of the kidnapper think when his wife showed up with a six year old? Women didn't have rights to even open up a credit card in their name,no less adopt a kid.
@@melissahancock3298 maybe the husband was a scumbag too.
Wow!!
Oh my 🥹🙏🏿‼️
Crazy 😮😮😮
Thank God! Wonderful! Luis is found!
I can't imagine what it must have felt like to be notified that the kidnapped child is alive after 70 years. So happy for them.
Who did it???????????
I heard of this story
Thank God
Messed up
I’m glad the man reunited with his kidnapped brother!
Wow, amazing..
Wow. 💜
He has a mole under his bottom lip I wonder if that was mentioned in the newspaper article when trying to find him imagine knowing that you were taken from your family and living with stranger’s who I’m sure he eventually had gotten use to living as their child it’s so sad lot’s of year’s lost 😢
I’m surprised he had to know he was kidnapped, why didn’t he look for his real family?
Amazing
Parents should NEVER leave their children unsupervised!
It was the 1950's. Different mindset.
@@TNT-8M7R Exactly..for the most part we didn’t have to fear strangers like they do today. We went outside to play in the early morning until we were called in for lunch. Then out again until the street lights turned on.😊
Even in the 80s and 90s parents regularly left children unattended.
@@StarLight-sl9okyep. And I’m still finding out stuff my kid got into with the neighborhood boys and his cousins. Lol! Kinda glad I didn’t know back then.
@@StarLight-sl9ok And the families looked out for each other's kids.
Mother and child will meet again in heaven 🙏☝️
So amazing
What about the family who raised him
Amazing story.
Wow! 🌎
Maybe the kidnapper told him his parents are dead back when he was 6yrs. Old. Only he can tell the story. Glad he is still alive! That is a blessing!!
It's horrible the mother died never knowing if he son was alive but I hope the kidnapper is so in her last year or so she knows the world knows what a POS she is and her secret is out. To do that to his parents and brother is beyond cruel.
