About 3 months ago I found war thunder and started grinding the American tech tree and I can finally say I made it to tier 6 jets, definitely worth it!
3 months mate!? That's just as fast as that Toyota. I have been playing for around 2 years and I haven't still reached tier V (I have made several pauses though. Also I am talking about tier IV for all nations except Sweden, China and France cause I never really focused on one certain nation). Good job I guess))

Dear Gaijin, I hope you read this. I was a very big fan of your game warthunder and with my previous account I also buyed a lot of things. But I've lost it. So I started from the scratch again and since then you updated to modern day MBTs I choosed the russian tech tree. No can I state something about it his harder to grind then some years again, but this is just a feeling and not fact based. So, my topic here is the match making. Since months (because I lost the interest in this game since it is so frustrating) I played a russian 7.7 BR setup with all T-54s, a BMP-1 and a low tier SPAA (BTR with 14,5mm). I've made a list, I player well over 500 matches and I any of this matches I never get down matched - so played with players with a max BR above 7.7. I also get my BR just in less then 10 percent of the games - so less than 50 games of 500 I've faced anything above a M-60, Cent Mk 10, STB-1, OF-40 or Str 103-0. 90 percent of the games I've played in the last months I've been but into games with at least a BR of 8.0 and in almost the half the match making put me to 8.7 games - so facing AMX-30B2, Chieftains, Leo A1A1 or M60 with RISE. Remember I play with BMP-1 and the T-54 (the oldest even have more then 239 mm of pen). So, is this fair? I can't imagine that this is to minimize waiting times - when it is the result of this I want to decide in the game to wait a bit more and get some decend BR (you could multiply the gained RP with 0,9 to balance this) or get into battle right now. This would also a good tool to balance the tank when it isn't upgraded for now. Because I couldn't grind any vehicle in these 500 games - then I go to a late T-34 setup and grinded with this, unlocked rank VI. I don't complain about the T-54 is bad (is isn't) or that the game is to heavy. It is ok when a armor benemoth like a Maus can face MBT-70s - I've had a lot of fun with my old account on the maus even on 9.0 games. But being maxed out by match making so often (almost have the times) makes almost impossible to grind to further vehicles and play with these. It is so frustrating for me, and I really like the concept of your game and been a player since 2013 even that I now have that much time then before. But when this won't be patched, fixed or arrange otherwise in a better way then you will permanent loose a enthusiastic player or, this will probably hurt you more even when it is sad, a player who payed a lot for aircraft or tanks (with both accounts more into 300 than 200 euros I guess). I hope you can give me an answer to this - I will observe this further and if anything changes I will go and invest my playing time in a game that is more a nice time out and not frustrating work, although I don't know which game this could be. If anyone is wondering why the Toyota drifts so much on turns and other armored cars Don't, it's because most armored cars use tank transmission, making them all wheel drive, whereas the Toyota uses a front wheel drive transmission, meaning that the rear wheels love to swing out at high speeds.

Mach 1.1 In a P-47N-15... Custom match where it brought you to top speed. I rested at 10km and let the speed take over. Though max actual speed. Just take out the Mig-21MF and climb baby!

It would be nice however to have all mach 2 capable aircraft, including the 104s, be able to reach their stated top speed at sea level, being one of the first machine two capable aircraft was the 104s claim to fame in the first place and on the deck, I can't get the 104 c to break mach 1.05 anymore since a micro patch for ps4 about two weeks ago.

It’s hilarious the F-104S can reach the fastest high altitude speed as well. I’ve hit Mach 2.35 with full fuel at ~50,000ft.
