All we know what a pokemon trainer is like is from what we've only had Ash as for reference for the longest time. So we don't really know any other type of perspective of a Trainer comes to be and/or is. All we have for reference is Ash's 25 year long perspective & we don't know anything else of how we should perceive the pokemon anime. The way that they made Liko's character makes her a lot more realistically relatable!!!!! It's a fresh & brand new perspective that I love that we are getting that I never imagined pokemon would ever do!!!! Doing this with Liko as reaffirm my hook into sticking with it more with the anime!!!!!!!!!

This is why Pokémon Horizons focus the real story of Liko, cause you can easily tell Liko’s voice from opening scene and ending scene of Pokémon horizons. I hope Liko will a catch new Pokémon for her team. She now has Hatenna, Terapagos and her main ace Sprigatito.

It's about her learning to stand on her own 2 feet, but at the same time, she is being hunting by a dangerous organization of experienced trainers. Ash in the beginning biggest worry were the Team Rocket trio who were a joke compared to other members.

I would often go back to see the past seasons most of whtoch I missed due to studies😊I retrace my golden memory avenue of pokemon biome and wish Ash had grown up to father a son who would follow in the footsteps of his champion Dad . 1 no liko..liko and roy if anything...and captain pikachu's trainer in fact 2 it feels late to come and say this... because the second season has just finished but... it's just coming out on netflix, so ok 3 is not a new era... or so I think... because it will end in season 3... and then something else will follow, perhaps based on Pokémon Az... and it will last 3 equally short seasons... and something else will replace it under the same conditions. Each of its protagonists, Horizon has a very specific story and its characters revolve around it. It doesn't even make sense to last long, nor to invent other things nor is i ... Even if it happens...it won't be, these characters are not so moldable
ive got to be candid i have only watched the english dub witch has 20 episodes so far and im enjoying it i think its stupid not to watch the series of ash (i don't know if you have heard of these or not) other japanese franchises like digimon, super sentai, kamen rider, and precure the do it pretty much every season its not unusual i like ash but i have had enough to last a lifetime same thing with team rocket i like that they explorers are intimidating than team rocket they overstayed their welcolme to me i love liko and roy but i don't hope we stick with them for 25 more years 3 or 4 at the most but thats just me what do you think
Ok a rotating main character every 3 or 4 years? I mean we did get Dou protagonists so anything is possible but it seems very risky, the fan base doesn’t to like change is what I’m seeing from Liko and Roy’s introduction but they are growing on ppl. The explorers I 100% agree with, they aren’t goofy at all and they actually seem like a evil organization, Horzions def isn’t perfect but the changes imo are steering the anime in a good direction
also a couple more questions do you think the have balanced the filler episodes and the story based ones i don't mind filler sometimes its good for the characters to take a break and solve smaller conflicts you just have to balance it and two is each character getting enough focus in this cause this cast is large again im only um to 20@@UmbreonxUmbreon

Let's face it, Ash had way too much plot armor, which is why he won so often.
You *do* remember it took over 20 years for him to finally win a League, right?
@LadyLeomon look at how much plot armor it took just to get there his first 8 badges. The aim for the horn BS with Brock that Brock's dad had to tell him about. Sabrina's dad giving him advice and the Haunter making Sabrina laugh so she couldn't battle. He didn't battle an official gym leader (Giovanni) but the Team Rocket Trio instead so I don't know if that was an official battle or not.
@@etherealdragon207 I think you’re confused dude: with Brock _somehow_ Pikachu zapped Geodude, then Pikachu’s sparks set off the sprinklers allowing it to zap Onyx. If you’re going to debate plot armour then at least get the details right

@@UmbreonxUmbreon nobody can last 25 years like ash. And the only reason ashs pikachu was able to last that long is because he is a mascot. That is why there was captain pikachu in horizons. Liko's Spirigato will evolve at end of horizons and when new game comes out, story line will reset again by starting with rookie level starters. Sprigato and its evolution are not mascots after all

The problem is that Liko lacks agency as a character. The top players of the Pokemon world is dominated by characters, both extroverted *and* introverted, who are driven. Characters who are active. People with desires and the motivation to go the extra mile and accomplish those dreams.
But Liko doesn't have *any* of that, especially with the Rising Volt Tacklers coddling her and acting as her safety net if she enters any serious conflict she can't fend off on her own. And overall, it just makes Liko a boring character to watch, and it's even worse since she's the protagonist of the anime now.
