This was a fun episode!! We got to really focus on Sprigatito’s personality and backstory. We got to understand more of Sprigatito’s mindset as well as actually seeing the Pokémon Starter Interview portion of Liko’s registration process into the Indigo Academy but it was in the perception of Sprigatito as well as her caretaker. I liked the little scene of Dot chasing Tinkatink, it really showed Dot exploring the world as Dot. Next episode looks very interesting. I am interested to see if Dot’s mom knows about her Nidothing persona, as well her reaction seeing Dot’s growth in confidence. From the preview it looks like Dot and her mom will fight which will be very interesting, getting to see Dot’s fighting style. It seems to me that Liko is more slow and strategic while Roy is more energetic and more straight on attack. So it will be interesting how Dot will battle. I hope Dot battles Iono soon, as a livestream battle collab.
I hope Liko's Hatenna will get some development so that she can be used in a Pokemon battle someday. I don't want Sprigatito to be the only Pokemon Liko owns that can fight. Plus I wanna see Hatenna use her telekinetic powers (either the move Confusion or Psychic) which she used in HZ028 again but in battle and try to pick opponents up to fling them around. But I think maybe she needs to evolve into Hattrem to fight like Mallow's Bounsweet after she evolved into Steenee and eventually Tsareena.
So unlike Fuecoco where it kept Ember when it learned Flamethrower (which honestly confused & annoyed people why & it still uses it now as I guess Tackle was replaced with Disarming Voice), Sprigatito's Leafage Evolved into Magical Leaf!!!! Now she has Homing missile Leaf Wind Blasts!!!! Also a bit I enjoyed was that this started when Liko protected Hatenna (+ Terapagos) when they got interested in the battle (which I hope makes Hatenna want to be involved in battles too!!!). And I was right when it came to Sprigatito's battling development!!! Her breeder said she has a Talent for Battling, but ever since that past incident, she became more fickle about using her full power as it could hurt others she cares for; but all she needed was another push in the right direction to move forward again!!!!!!!
since there are hardly any battles in Horizons, I have not had many opportunities to use my Original Series battle themes so I decided to chuck it into this video
I'm glad that Liko's Sprigatito has finally learned a new move which is Magical Leaf. Although I was hoping for moves like either Seed Bomb, Energy Ball, Trailblaze, or even Leaf Storm but oh well I just hope Sprigatito will learn another new move someday like how Roy's Fuecoco learned Disarming Voice in HZ037. If she does then I hope maybe she'll learn Shadow Claw which should replace Scratch. Plus I hope it won't be too long before Liko's Sprigatito evolves into Floragato.

Zactoshi is how I found your channel. I don't really have anybody to share my thoughts with on the anime episodes. I have no Pokefriends that watch the anime but several that play the games. So I enjoy watching others express their thoughts and opinions. I so far have had similar rating of episodes but I still have some differing opinions and predictions. It makes it more exciting to see what future episodes hold.

Very interesting episode. I think it's pretty cool that Pokemon have backstories too, and I'm definitely interested to see if there's anything about Sprigatito beyond what we just saw. Also, now I'm curious about Quaxyl backstory as to how he started making videos with Dot long before she officially caught him. Well, regardless I just want for them to arrive at Paldea proper. Seems like an eternity since we last saw any progress towards tracking Kleavor or Entei. 😅
I'm giving this episode a final 7/10. I like the way they explained sprigatito's backstory and how similar it is to everyone's favourite water frog from XY, liko and meowscarada bond phenomenon? Who knows?😏 And I guess we'll say goodbye to sprigatito pretty soon 💚

I don't think the full circle moments are contrived, personally. Similar happenstances causing full-circle moments is a big part of storytelling.
